[Resolved] Airtel — No incoming calls, but full bill | |||
Soon after converting from prepaid to postpaid, people trying to reach me started receiving message that "phone you are trying to reach is switched off please try back after some time". After complaining to airtel, they said they will look into the matter and took some sample callers numbers who are getting that problem. Later they called up asking if there is any improvements or still facing the same issue. Still many people were trying to reach me were getting this issue and were leaving messages with my wife or land line. I followed up with airtel multiple times after that for almost month and they kept on defering the problem by escalating to technical department, managers. They have following fixed answers when you call up 121. 1.we are looking into your problem 2.our technical department will get back to you 3.we have escalated this issue to network team 4.it is issue with your mobile device. (btw, this same device I have been using when I was using prepaid and never had this problem) 5.perhaps your area has this issue and our network team is fixing issue 6. talk to my manager, but he is busy right now, he will call back later 7. never receive call back from anyone. After all frustrating followups with airtel 121, my problem is still not resolved. But airtel promptly sent full. I'm going to fight this battle.
