Airtel Plan — Shifting | |
Hi, Thanks for your wonderful service, and now I would like to cancel my airtel land line and broadband [protected] . Here are the reasons a) Airtel was unable to shift my line to the new address I have requested. When I bought the line they told me that I can able to shift the line in two or three days after I get the connectivity, But still now there are no resolution b) I am a bsnl user, when I bought the airtel they said there is an offer that you can get double the speed if you are switching from bsnl, Later on I realize that the offer is only for 6 months then after that I will be getting the 256kbps plan speed. This is totally un fair because the agency people didn't tell me the information c) I am sick and tired of calling customer care services, here is the story from last Friday (times are approximate) Nov 20th 2009, Friday @ 8:00 AM "Hello My name is Jeyanthi, How may I assist you ? " Hi I am Navas, I would like to shift my line to the new address. She verified all the details and she told me that "Oh, I am sorry sir, the system was down right now, The request will be placed in one hour, " Nov 20th 2009, Friday @ 11:00 AM "Hello My name is XXXXXX, How may I assist you ? " Hi I am Navas, I would like to shift my line to the new address, I have placed a request can you please very it? "Sorry sir, we don't have any request, would you like to give a request now ?" Yes She verified all the info and said "Sorry sir, your profile have not updated yet, Please send a mail to care.[protected]@airtel.in" Then I sent an email to the address and the email came back to me saying that "Number is incorrect, we couldn't Identify your account in the system" Nov 20th 2009, Friday @ 3:00 PM "Hello My name is Bindu, How may I assist you ? " (She is a supervisor) I explained my hole problem. She created me a ticket number (I don't remember the number) and finally said "Ok sir, I understand your problem, for some reason since you have a new account we couldn't identify your profile, so I request you to go to the near by Airtel service center and give a shifting request manually and your ticket will be resolved before saturday 5:30 PM or before we made the ticket as high priority" and then I went to the Anna Nagar center and tried for a shifting then, I got the final answer saying "It will take one month to create your profile, so please try after one month and they also said we can not help you directly, get the agency help" And when I tried the agency help, they said they will get back to me and they never showed up and the airtel high priority ticket also which was supposed to be resolved on Saturday 5:30 PM d) For some reason my modem got reset and when I tried the customer care, they couldn't even tell me my correct password is. So I am frustrated enough with my Wonderfull high speed useless Airtel connection and I request for the cancellation and refund my install cost Rs 500. If it was not happened in a week then I will sure go to my lawyer and consumer court I am very happy with BSNL service, they took care of the shifting problem in a couple of hours on Firday itself. & other no @ 50p/min
@ daily rental of 50p
on
WEEKEND & night 11pm-7am
Now they r shifting all the campus plans to
Mcampus community numbers @ 10p/min
& only airtel no @ 50p/min
@ daily rental of 1Rs
on
WEEKEND & night 11pm-7am
without any consideration of customers
plz help me & all other customers
