[Resolved]  Airtel — Unwanted VAS charges

I was having one airtel mobile no [protected], I have been charged every month for value added services I have never requested never used, In the month of October I have been charged Rs.410/ for SMS other which I try to find out but they never told nor reversed. I lodged a complain and requested to refund but I have paid the bill so they sold they don't have enough outstanding in my account to reverse, there after also they charged like vise for game club and similar other charges. Even after writing to they ombudsman nothing happened and I stop paying bills and finally they stop my outgoing but not reversed excess amount charged. They did it intentionall to extract money from poor consumer like us. I recived some phone calls but I politely asked to reverse all excess charges and late fee charges so actual amount I shall pay to you. but they never come back. I want to raise the grievences of consumr like us so people beware of airtel service, even they come with correct bill amount I shall pay to them but I also need a compensation to troubling me mentalle so more than 6 months and I claim for Rs. 5.00 Lacs from Airtel. Peole should use some other service provider like BSNL or other with whom I never had any problem in last 11 years.

Bharti Airtel Limited — unwanted value added services charged

i am using mobile no. [protected], Accont No.[protected], issued in favour of my father in law Mr.G.L.Verma.For last few months unwanted value added servives like Hello tunes, Music On Demand, Chatting E.T.C are being charged in invoices.After checking invoice details i have to call the coustomer care people and they always tell that by mistake it has been charged in my account and they waive off with in 72 hours.
inspite of this they have repeated the same mistake in my September Bil number[protected].
I believe this is Not only fraud But it is also a case of Harrasement.

Bharti Airtel Mobile — Excess bill for value added services.

Sir,

I am a mobile holder of Bharti Airtel (No. [protected]) since last two years.

I have received a bill for the month of November 2008. In this bill, Rs. 2366.00 has been charged for Value added services (i.e. 2366 Nos of SMS). The call charges is Rs. 75.00 only.

I am using this phone since last two years, and the monthly average SMS are around 50 SMSs only. It is beyond my imagination that how can we made 2366 SMS in one month.

It seems that sothing is wrong.

I request to investigation should be made how this mistake has been happened.

AirTel — Complaint not resolved for Unwanted Bills

I was having Airtel Post paid service since last 4 years (In Gujarat- No.[protected]) and it was good. Due to my job, I was shifted to Bangalore on 24.12.08. My Airtel post paid mobile was stolen on 05.01.09 from Bangalore. On the same day I informed Airtel customer care at Bangalore, but they simply told me that they can't help me for Airtel Gujarat sim card..
Finally I contact to the Gujarat's customer care and request them to stop the services of the post paid sim card.They also told me to continue with the same no., but I denied to have the post paid service. So they stop the services of the sim card. As the sim was inactive since 05.01.09, Still I am receiving the bills from Airtel office at my Gujarat address.
I am not going to pay any of the bills after 05.01.09.
Please do the needfull actions..

Airtel GSM — VAS not provided but charged in the bill

I am user of AIRTEL GPRS since last few years.
This time they disconnected my number as I could not pay my bill for another number on time.
But even after paying the bill they did not started until I made a call and that too for 11 days.

To my shock when the bill came they charged me for all those days also even when they committed me this will not be charged.

I dont know why these companies are not questioned.

It seems they just want to snatch things from your hand.

Guys you to beware and be away from AIRTEL!

Also they did not solve my complain in the given time attaching the snapshot for the same.

Bharti Airtel — value added services charge

sir every month airtel company charged me 73 rupees of value added service charged without my permission.
so i just want reverse my all dues as soon as possible.
otherwise I dont make any payment of my number that is [protected].

Bharti Airtel — Excess / wrong Bill

Hi,

I am an airtel customer and using my current no. [protected] for last 9 years. I am using GPRS service on my phone and i was planning to go to US in Nov. Before leaving for USA I called the customer care on 2-3 Nov 2009 to inquire about GPRS charges while I will be on roaming in USA and I got the answer that I am using unlimited plan and there will no extra charges for using GPRS while on roaming in USA. When I came back I got the bill for Rs. 22830 including Rs 15277 for GPRS.
Since then I have given n number of calls at the customer care executive but I have not got any resolution. This is just cheating customer.............I specifically asked the customer care executive three times that "R u sure" there is no extra charges for GPRS in international roaming and I got the same answer saying "no" everytime. After lot of efforts I got the nodal officer no. but of no use as it is busy all the time.
Can I get a resolution please as i have been asked to pay what I have been committed as no charges.
The height o[censored]nprofessionalism is that one customer care executive today hang up the phone as she was not able to provide resolution and she was not sure what answer she should be giving to the customer.

Airtel Mobile — UNWANTED AIRTEL CHARGES

I want to complain here of AIRTEL MOBILE.
I have been charged Rs.792 in jun 2009, Rs, 50 in Jan 10 & yesterday i got a message u have been charged Rs. 50. I have requested to airtel excutives. they always asked me to ignore the message & assured me amount will not put in your bill. But always it has been charged & I will have to pay. I request you to stop such facility, phone calls from my no. [protected] immidiately.

Airtel — Excess/Wrong Billing

I have 5 lines with Airtel and recently have recently been faced with excessive and wrong billing on one of my numbers which is [protected]. Last month I have received a bill of about Rs 10,000 while my credit limit is 5000. In the itemized report there are a lot of numbers including six and seven digit numbers that do not make any sense and a lot of other numbers with which I have had no communication whatsoever. Upon registering the complaint many days ago now I was passed from one executive to another and was then promised by an executive in billing complaints department called Sapna that the Rs 5000 will be refunded into my account and I will receive a text confirming the same. When no text was received we called up again and were told that the amount being refunded is 2000. Then I received a notification stating that Rs 500 have been credited to my account. After this notification we called up Customer Care and are again being transferred from one executive to another stating that there is no record of discussions relating to previous promises on refunds. Then again when we have asked to speak to Supervisors they disconnect the phone. The last person to do that introduced himself as Shanku

As a consumer this is absolutely terrible treatment where we have to spend unnecessary time trying to rectify mistakes and issues created by Airtel who we pay money to provide us with a service rather than hassle. I am extremely disappointed by the treatment given to what could be called a priority customer having transactions worth thousands every month across all lines I have with Airtel. I would really appreciate a speedy closure on my complaint and prevention of similar wrong billing issues in the future

Airtel has charged total excess bill of around 1000 rupees against bill amount of Rs.1500/ I want close the account the claim for harrasing me
