[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid — Incorrect Bill Charges

I have been using Airtel postpaid connection for more than a year and after every month or two, I was charged unnecessarily Clip Charges of Rs. 50. I raised many complaints in this regard, but nobody cared.
For past four months, I am being charged at a different rate plan. I have been raising complaints/ sending emails to them everyday since Feb., 2009 and infact I have a long list of complaint nos. which nobody bothered to resolve. In the month of March, I got a call from Airtel saying that I will be getting a waiver of Rs. 500 for all this mess, but till date I have not got any waiver. I did not pay my mobile bill for the month of April (which was Rs. 290) assuming that I am getting a waiver of Rs. 500 and hence I did not need to pay the bill. Now they have disconnected my number and when I talked to customer care people they are saying that it is disconnected because of non-payment of bill. I don't understand when I am getting a waiver of Rs. 500, why should I pay a bill of Rs 290. Same thing happened with my wife as well. I don't know whether Airtel has found some new ways to cheat the customers. There services have become really bad. Now, I advise everybody to think twice before taking Airtel connection, because they are big cheaters. It has happened with many of my friends also.

Airtel — waiver of clip charges

I have to make requests on 121 for reversal of clip charges repeatedly. Inspite of repeated calls and promises that no clip charges will be levied I recieve the clip charged to my account every time. Kindly ensure that this charge is not levied again and all previous charges are adjusted accordingly.

Airtel — bills charged incorrectly

I went to the airetl showroom in the month of septmember to change my bill plan.i filled in all the relevant documents which was necessary so that the paln could be changed however to my surprise this wasnt chanded till december.
I had been using Airtel Services since 4 years and had been paying the charges on time.Being an old customer, my request for compensation on the charges is not being granted.Inspite of calling the Customer Care Unit everyday regarding this matter, the Unit is not responding properly.Is this the kind of service Airtel gives to its Customer who has been paying bills regularly since 4 long years ?

I hope my request will be considered and please reply me as soon as possible.Hope that you will take right steps within a small span of time and oblige me.
