[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid — Correction in name

I have an airtel postpaid connection number [protected]. There is a correction in the spelling of my name. In all bills my name is written as Neeraj Choughan instead of Neeraj Chauhan. So please get it corrected at the earliest.

Airtel Postpaid — Address correction

I have sms[protected] to 51619 for address change, but till today I have not get any feedback from you.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — rectification of excessive bill

DEAR SIR/ MADAM

1 I HAVE AN AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION NO [protected] ON MY NAME ie PARUL CHAUDHARY IN UP EAST CIRCLE.

2. FOR LAST 3 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN BADLY HARRASED BY THE STAFF OF M/S SHAN TRADERS FROM WHERE I TOOK THE CONNECTION.DETAILS ARE AS UNDER:

3. 25 JUN O9 :NEW AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION NO [protected] WAS TAKEN FROM SHAN TRADERS ALLAHABAD WITH RS 350 RENTAL AND 512 MB FREE USAGE PLAN

4. 2 SEP 09 : AN APPLICATION REGARDING THE CHANGE OF PLAN TO RS 999 UNLIMITED FREE USAGE WAS GIVEN AT SHAN TRADERS TO MS DEEPIKA,SHE REASSURED THAT PLAN WILL BE CHANGED IN THE BILLING CYCLE STARTING FROM 05 SEP 09.

5. 05SEP 09 TO 03 OCT 09: TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THAT THE PLAN HAS BEEN CHANGED I DID NOT PUT ANY RESTRICTION ON USAGE AND SINCE MY CREDIT LIMIT WAS 2500 AND CONNECTION WAS NOT DISCONNECTED EVEN AFTER THAT I THOUGHT IT IS DUE TO THE NEW PLAN.

6. 05 0CT 09 :I APPROACHED THE SAME OFFICE FOR BILL PAYMENT AND CHANGE OF CONNECTION TO PREPAID.I WAS TOLD BY MS DEEPIKA THAT MY APPLICATION COULD NOT BE PROCESSED LAST MONTH AND MY BILL HAS BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF RS 350 RENTAL ONLY. NOBODY EVEN INFORMED ME ABOUT IT. SHE ASKED ME TO COME AFTER 3 DAYS.

7. 07 OCT 09 :I MEET MS DEEPIKA & MS SHIKHA AT THE SAME OFFICE AND THEY BOTH INFORMED ME THAT THEY ARE SENDING A WAIVER OF RS 5000 TO LUCKNOW OFFICE AND IT WILL BE THROUGH IN A FEW DAYS.

8. ALL WORKING DAYS IN OCT 09: I KEPT ON CALLING UO MS DEEPIKA & MS SHIKHA BUT THEY ALWAYS TOLD ME TO WAIT.I VISITED THEIR OFFICE NUMBER OF TIMES AND REQUESTED FOR CHANGING THE PLAN ATLEAST AS DUE TO NON SETTLEMENT OF BILL MY CONNECTION WAS TO BE DISCONNECTED ON THE 25 OCT O9.

9. 25 OCT 09: MY CONNECTION DISCONNECTED .WAIVER AND FINAL BILL STILL AWAITED. ON 26 OCT 09 & 29 OCT 09 EMAILS TO [protected]@airtelindia.com AND ON 26 0CT 09 T0 NODAL OFFICER WERE SENT BY ME FOR THE SOLUTION OF PROBLEM,BUT NO POSITIVE REPLY RECD FROM 121 AND NODAL OFFICE DID NOT EVEN REPLY TO MY MAIL.

10- 03 NOV 09:
I VISITED THE SAME OFFICE AND SPOKE TO MR REHMAN ABOUT THE PROBLEM. I REQUESTED TO DO THE NEEDFUL BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF NEXT BILLING CYCLE.HE TOLD ME WITHIN 3-4 DAYS IT WILL BE RESOLVED.
11- 04NOV 09-TILLDATE :NOTHING WAS DONE BY SHAN TRADERS. ANOTHER BILL WITH LATE FEES WAS GIVEN TO ME FOR OCT-NOV CYCLE & NEXT WILL BE GIVEN FOR NOV-DEC CYCLE.HOWEVER THE CONNECTION WAS DISCONNECTED ON 25 OCT 09 WITHOUT ANY FAULT OF MINE. NOW EVERY DAY I AM GETTING CALLS FROM CUST CARE OR ZONAL OFFICE OR ANYWHERE AND THEY ALL ARE HARRASING ME AND ASKING ME TO PAY THE FULL BILL.
ON 25 NOV 09 I GOT A CALL FROM MR GAURAV FROM OFFICE AND HE TOLD ME EITHER TO PAY THE BILL OR LEGAL NOTICE WILL BE GIVEN TO ME. ON EXPLAINING THE ENTIRE PROBLEM TO HIM HE INFORMED ME NOBODY WOULD DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND SINCE THE CONNECTION IS ON MY NAME I HAVE TO PAY IT. ON REQUESTING TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER OF SHAN TRADERS HE SAID HE TOLD ME TO DO THIS OR BE READY FOR CONSEQUENCES OF LEGAL NOTICE.

12- I AM I WORKING PERSON AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO CHASE THIS CASE ANY FURTHER.KINDLY HEL ME OUT.
