I am styaing at Vashi, Navimumbai. I have procured new Airtel prepaid connection SIM card fifteen days back. I have also activated GPRS. Now last week, I deactivated GPRS and from next day onwards I was not getting any signal to my phone. After I called up to service centre, they asked me to visit their Galary at Vashi. After visiting to the Galary, the person has checked my SIM and told that it is damaged and I need to replace it and to pay for it. Now, a new SIM if damaged within fifteen days, without removing from the cell phone, means that already damaged SIM was provided to me and they have started a new business of getting money from the costomer.
I am planning to go to consumer court for the same and to give same complain to different newz papers also. Was this information helpful? |
