[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Deduction of amount on pretext of 'hello tunes'

I got a top on my account around mid May. Things were going smoothly when until 4 days back I got a SMS stating my HELLO TUNES service subscription will be renewed within 3 days. What do you mean?
I never availed your this service and got Rs 30 dedcuted for that. Things dont end here. Today afternoon i got a SMS saying my subscription has been renewed and Rs 30 have been deducted.!!!
I immediately discontinued the service. But my 60 bucks have gone down the drain. That too for what?/?
'Airtel hello tune'. Which sane guy would use airtel tune as its hello tune.
I want my Rs 60 to be refunded asap.

prepaid service — airtel radio service without consent

My Mobile No.is [protected]. Today at 10.42 i recharged my mobile with rs.100 (Transaction ID[protected]. At 10.56 a message from 543213 has received mentioning that "Airtel Radio has been renewned on your mobile and you have been charged Rs.30." Without having request from me your company have debited the charges from my account. I have contacted customer care 121 and I am helpless.
I don't need the Airtel Radio service. Arrange to credit the amount charged atonce.

Airtel Prepaid — hello tunes subscribed amount deducted

on 29 11 09 i got a call from airtel i have lifted and listen the call it is about Hello tunes i have not selected and the call ended . after some time i have received message saying you have been charged Rs.30 for 30 days and i saw my baance there is a reduction 30 rupees in my account. i have unsubcribed but my amount not received.
cheap guys.. makes money worst than a begger does... it happens to every pre-paid offer.

I haven't subcribed for Airtel Jokes , for which they are deducting 1 Rs Daily. Even after complaining this to a customer care person called "sentil nathan " this is still hapeening.

without my knowledge Airtel Radio has been subscribed and they have deducted rs 30 from my account.

I don't know why Airtel is providing such a poor servies to customer .the Person who interacts with people is not good .

Today i. e. on[protected] at 05.36.22pm from sender no. 5432105 I have received a message, "Matrimonials on Mobile service has been renewed. You have been charged Rs.10 for 10 days of service". So also, on[protected] at 08.42.35 am I have received a message" Thank you for subscibing to Matrimony on Mobile @ Re.10 for 10 days.
WHAT IS THIS NONSENCE ? WHEN AND HOW I HAD SUBSCIBED SUCH USELESS SERVICE ? WHO HAD GIVEN U SUCH RIGHT TO DEDUCT AMOUNT FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT ?
YOU ARE HEREBY REQUIRED TO STOP BY SENDING SUCH MESSAGES TO ME AND RETURN MY MONEY DEDUCTED DIRECTLY WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT, IF ANY.

Airtel India — Deducting money for Airtel Radio Service without my consent

Dear Sir,

I am a prepaid customer of Airtel. I have two prepaid sims. One with No.[protected] and the other with [protected]. I am using Airtel services for more than four years. The later number was added just six months back.

Last week, on 09.12.2009, from my [protected], I received a message stating that Rs.30 deducted from my account for subscribing the Airtel Radio services. I did not ask for it or send any SMS requesting to subscribe the service. But the company deducted Rs.30 from my prepaid account with out asking my permission.

When I asked your customer service Executives, about this problem one said the money will be credited back to my on 11.12.2009. (With great effort I could get their services) So, I waited, but it was not credited back. Hence, I called the customer services again on 11.12.2009 and was informed that no money will be credited back as I had requested for the services. I was shocked and told them that I did not asked for any such services to subscribe but she was not in any mood to listen to me. She repeatedly told me that the money is deducted only after my request.

I very much clear that I did not ask for any such services or send SMS requesting them. I am a 54-year-old person and a simple user of the cell phone. I don’t ask for any special services offered by your network and I never used any one so far. And there are no children in our house to play around. It is a pure game played at their end. This service is activated to my phone at their end with out my consent and the money also deducted for the services. I

I don’t know how many innocent people would have affected like me? Out of which how many would complain? They are taking this as an advantage.
Please take necessary action against them and ask them to stop the practices like this in future.

I have also not subscribed for any career tips nor health tips, for which they are deducting 1 Rs Daily. According to the given msg I tried deativating by dialing *321*665# but on return I get a reply saying "Sorry we do not understand your msg"

I really do not understand without our consent and knowledge how one can deduct money from my account. With this reason I am unable to call neither send any message. So far, without my knowledge Airtel has been subscribed and they have deducted rs 20 from my account.

Airtel — subscribing the services and deducting the money without consent

Dear Sir,
My mobile number is [protected]. time and again the airtel subscribe the welcome tune and deduct the money without opting . after reporting to custmor care no action is taken . there should be no subscription of any services without my consent.

Airtel/Prepaid Service — Deduction of amount

Its a small amount but need to rectify with Airtel.
The situation: Deduction of 60 paise for using of Airtel Live services.

I have not registered or asked them to provide this service to me.
Further I requested them to stop these services to me. They state I should disble the service on my phone.
I fail to understand why should i make any changes to my mobile phone.

The Airtel Live service should check if I have paid or asked for the service also they should state/alert that you would be charged if the service is utilised.

I know its a small amount but am tired of these deductions from the side of Airtel.

Have earlier been deducted for amounts Rs 40 and Rs 5. these were credited back. But am tired of doing these rounds to the Airtel gallery.

I Jitendra Singh My Mobile No is [protected] I have received a call from Airtel Radio Service From [protected] and when i disconnect the call a Message came that Thank you for choosing airtel radio service. You have been charged Rs20 for 20 mins of music. Valid for 20 days. Without having request from me your company have debited the charges from my account. But i have not choose any service. I am very helpless Please arrange my credit to my account. I am very thankful to you.

AirTel — Hello tunes deduction

Hi,
I had to deactivate the Hello Tunes activated on my mobile no [protected]. But the amount Rs. 60 for 2 months was deducted without any warning. I called the customer care and asked them to stop the service and refund me the money.I was told that the money would be refunded in 20 minutes and the Hello Tunes service was deactivated.It has 4 days since I called and I have not received the refund though the Hello Tunes service has been stopped. I cannot even talk to the customer care executive now since that option is not coming now. Please look into this matter as soon as possible.
