Airtel Prepaid — activation of new prepaid connectiion | |
I had procured a new prepaid Airtel Connection on 19.08.2009 Through a Dealer at Perungudi. The Connection got activated the same day. But from 19.08.2009 night 10.00 pm the mobile itself was not switching on if it was working on the new prepaid connection[protected]. Contacted the Customer Care and was told that the sim card may be damaged. Further the ID proff have to be resubmitted. It was resubmitted on 31.08.2009 at the airtel customer care center at Sasthti Nagar Adyar, Chennai. They issued a duplicate sim and was told that the same will be activated in 48 hours. But even after 96 hours I am getting a message that "SIM REGISTRATION HAS FAILED". The duplicate SIM no is [protected] /[protected].
