[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Getting charged for services not subscribed for

Dear Team,

This is a harassed Airtel Prepaid service user making a complaint hoping that some justice is meted from your end.
I have been Airtel Prepaid customer since last 7 years. There have been multiple issues with the service provided, including non availablity of recharge vouchers across city and the authorised dealers as well. But this time its beyond my patience. I have never subscribed for "Audio movies" , don't even know how to go about the same and have been charged 2 months in a row for Rs.30 for the same.
I called on the "121" number to have the same deactivated and also followed the SMS regime, and received confirmation via SMS on 8 Dec 2009 that same has been deactivated still was charged the renewal amount for Jan'10 and Feb'10.
I have stored those messages on my phone.
Kindly suggest how to take this complaint forward and get my Rs.60 back.Right now I have stopped using the number. Please help.

Airtel — The service is not available in spite of having balance in my prepaid card

I am not able to call and recieve from my Airtel number since today in the morning.The balance is present and validity is till May 2009.

Please look into the issue at the earliest.

Airtel WAP — not subscrip being charge by airtel

PLZ DEACTIVATE AND REFUND 3RD TIME AFTER COMPLAINING AGAIN IT IS BEING CHARGED.
this is with ref to some vague activation of some text based services of which I am unaware of. This auto activation has been deducting money from my balance, sometimes at the rate of Rs30 a day, whilst I am not using my mobile for any such services.everyday i hve been charged Rs. 10/=
This is a request to please deactivate the subscription immediately and refund the amount wrongly or forcefully deducted from my account, failing which I would be forced to lodge a complaint in the consumer'd forum.

I have complaint to the airtel prepaid dept on nos.[protected] several time once it got deactivate and refund of only Rs. 30/= came back inspite of being charged 90 Rs., Now again it has started, I want to know are the manageing directors of Airtel sleeping or this is the other way of making money, dont they feel ashamed of themselves, it is better they stand on the road side and beg. in spite of several complaints to consumer complaints forum still No action has been taken against AIRTEL MOBILE COMPANY. I request all mobile subsriber to complaint in the news channel, and paper, also to go for the other mobile company throwing airtel sim card in the gutter. Any 1 wants more help to be sent to news paper or to channel may contact me on [protected], even you can put the complaint in www.karmayog.com an n.g.o who fight for our rights.

Airtel Prepaid — auto-activation of subscription of text based service on airtel WAP

I have got 4 text messages since last two weeks from a number 64611020 which thanks me for my subscription made for text based service on airtel WAP. I HAVE NEVER SUBSCRIBED THIS SERVICE!. A site http://gofun.in is also given in this message. When I go to this site to unsubscribe this service, I found that there is nothing mentioned about it. The number 64611020 did not accept any reply message to unsubscribe. I am very puzzled becoz I don't understand where to go to unsubscribe this stupid service which charged me Rs.20 almost daily. PLEASE DO UNSUBSCRIBE THIS SERVICE FROM MY NO. [protected] AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

i have spoken to customer care so many times, but mere waste. please unsubscribe this service with immediate effect..
my problem is same problem.. i am now thinking of throwing the airtel sim.

AirTel — Charging for services not subscribed

Air tel Services is very very poor. I have been debited for various VAS Service which I have not subscribed. On protesting, the call centre some amount is refunded and for balance am told have to again complaint. THEY ARE ON THEIR OWN FORCIBLY SUBSCRIBING AND if people do not bother to check, the money is in their kitty. Then we have to keep fighting with them for recrediting the amount.

Not only that, while on one hand they recredit (after lots of messages/followups over phone which costs time and money), again I have been subscribed, again on their own. This has been happening for the last one week - I keep complaining that I have not opted for the service, they keep recrediting, and then again subscribe. The call center operator tells I will not receive again and this keeps happening in a vicious circle. They will take all the addressess etc. but everytime you call up it is different people and first you have to waste time in verification, then the process begins again.

I think we should form a common forum to take on this beligerent co. If anyone has the email id of their MD or top brasses, let me know and then we all can together flood him with mails. I think this should be done to ensure that their MD is aware of the problems we are facing. Even phone should do, but it should be on mass scale so that he feels the impact of the problems we are facing.
Same thing has happened with me... if any airtel agent can disactivate this service for me also and return my 40 ruppees i will be thankful. my mod no is [protected]

I have activated for 98 internet 2gb promotions, while activated the 98 RS deducted from prepaid account and not getting the fecility with my HTC HD2 windows mobile. then I tried to contact customer care, but after press 3 & I saying it will connect customer service representative(Officer) then said this number is not valid. Please let me know how I can get this service as soon as possible
