[Resolved] Airtel Prepaid — Forcefully providing call alert service | |||
At 1417 hrs today i.e. 23.07.2011, a recorded call came from airtel (No. [protected]) proposing to provide call alert service @Rs. 15/- per month. It stated that for subscribing to the call alert service press * button. I didn't press * button, even then the service was povided and Rs. 15/- deducted from my balance amount.A message received stating that "Thank you for choosing Missed Call Alert Service. You have been charged DRs 15 for 30 days. To stop this service dial *321*883#." I dialled the said number and another message received stating " Missed Call Service has been stopped. I made a complaint to this effect at airtel complaint No. 198. The amount of Rs. 15/- deducted from my balance has been credited at 1510 hrs today itself i.e. 23.7.2011
