Airtel Prepaid — Harassed by Airtel customer care

I am an Airtel mobile prepaid customer. On 20Fed 2013 around 3a.m at night I received a sms saying I have downloaded something called 'fashion show' & for that I was charged Rs5/-. I was neither downloaded such thing at night, nor connected to internet on that period of early morning. Next morning I called twice to 121 airtel customer care & requested for refunding money which they deducted. After 2nd request they refunded the money. Next day on 21st Feb 2013 same sms appeared on my mobile & Rs.5/- was again deducted. Again in the evening I called 121 customer care, & requested to refund the money. But this time they denied to do so. When I asked if they'll continue this type o[censored]nethical activity, the customer care guys promptly replied, they'll continue such Unethical activity. More over that guy said- I can go to Consumer Forum & they care a damn. I eventually recorded entire conversation. The conversation was in Bengali & the mp3 file is attached.

Airtel Postpaid Mobile — Harassment by Customer Care of Airtel

Dear Sir/ Ma’m

For the last 5 Years I am the Loyal customer of Airtel. I am very sorry to say that the Customer Service of Airtel is not working properly. On 3rd Sep. 2009 I requested the Customer Care executive for the STD Pack Activation (for STD @ 1 Re) but I was told it would be activated within 2-3 days. I Checked with Customer Care again in September but the response was that Pack was not activated and Bill was made as per STD Call @ 1.50 Rs.

I have wasted so much time talking with the Customer Care Executive. They sometimes give assurance that the extra amount charged will be adjusted from my bill. Most of the times there System is down and they give excuses for this. Even sometimes they don’t write the details of telephonic conversation properly.

Total Amount of STD Calls wrong charged: Rs. 1263/-
Actual amount: (1263*1)/1.5 = 843/-
Adjustment to be done= 421/- + Taxes Appx. Rs. 44/- = Rs. 465/-

Last month also I paid the bill despite mistake in it, but this time I have followed up the matter with Customer Care but no response from there side even after regular commitments. Also I have not paid the bill for this month and the wrong charges may be deducted immediately so that I can pay the balance,
dear sir i am pradeep from ulhasnagar i hav connection with airtel last 8years i hav paid my bill 2900 rs but whenever i go to airtel gallery o[censored]lhasnagar they talk so rude and bad that we cant even stand also they make stupid faces the names are sonali and ambika plz take some serious action against them
i have been told that after payment i will get my num back but now they are telling we have sold that num and talking rudely my number is [protected]

AirTel — Harassment from from customer care

Dear Sir,

I had Airtel broadband connection Account No 15179106. Since i changed my place in same area i applied for
transfer my connection to new place, i got a promise that connection will be made in two working days.But i didn't get any response. when i called back they informed me that i have pending bills to be cleared. I cleared immediately and informed them make connection. No response from any one. I dropped mail to customer service for details. Finally they stated
Dear Customer,

Thank you for writing to Airtel.

With reference to your e-mail dated 23/12/2010 regarding the shifting of your Airtel fixed-line[protected], we regret to inform you that we are unable to process your request for shifting due to non-availability of network.

It is our endeavor to provide the very best of services to our valued customers. In pursuance of this objective AIRTEL is extending its network, which would enable our customers to fully utilize and enjoy the benefits of the services.

However your concern will assist us in planning our future network augmentation.

Please do write in for any further assistance.

At last i called customer care told them to disconnect complete connection. they agreed placed request.

after six months i got call from lawyer airtel saying that i have bill payment due , they already sent a legal notice to my old address. She was rude in words threatening me to come and attend court.
Notice that i have cleared my bills for tranferring the connection, but still this very bad they harassing me in phone.

Kindly act and do get me compensate on the same.

AirTel — Customer care harassment

I have a mobile in Airtel a post paid connection [protected]. Have been using 3G since its
Launch in Airtel.since 2 weeks I have issues in my Airtel mobile that my 3G hasn't been working up to the speeds. It shows only 0.05kbs in speed test. Thus I complaint the same on 7th of feb, for which I was given a ref no as 42000627 and was told that it will take 48 hrs to resolve. It was so cruel to take them 48 hrs to resolve it, but it didn't get resolved and no one called back, hence I called back after 2 days and they said there is some issues with their activation problem and some software error showing in my connection. I raised them a complaint stating that no one is calling me back and every time I had to cal them .
One 121 Customer relation manager stated that they can't do anything that my complaint I'd closed without my knowledge and they can't give a explanation. So I wanted to cancel myaccount along with 15 more accounts I have in Airtel.
Then that cancellation guy promised he will resolve it within 2 days and that I will get a call from Airtel 3G team within 1 day, which i didn't get
Yesterday my 3G also got deactivated andes today I again called up, they reactivated my 3G,
Again the speed was the same. So this is the response to customer fromairtel
They won't bother u suffer they say their managers or any higher officials won't speak on Saturday or any working day after 4 pm and the customer will have to wait for just a call from them to just to speak to a suffering customer.
This is pure harassment and mental torture to me.... As am a busy surgeon here have to speak with this stupid Airtel connection so many times........ I want justice for this
