[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid Mobile Connection — Calling balance getting debited for unnecessarily without authorization or consent for value added services

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I have a prepaid mobile connection from Airtel No. [protected]. Lately from 26th August 2009 I am having a problem with the balance on my account. My account is debited continuously on account of downloading songs and Subscribing to Hello Tunes without my knowledge or consent. I have never ever subscribed to Hello Tunes or downloaded any song on my number but these are getting activated on my number continuously. The sequence of events is as follows:

1. On 26th August 09 Bal on my mobile was Rs 114.79. At around 09.15 pm I received two sms stating that my acct has been debited Rs 15/- and Rs 30/- on for subscription to Hello Tunes and downloading song which I had never subscribed for. This brought my balance down to Rs 69.79. I spoke to Mr. Rahul at your Customer Service Dept at around 09.30 pm and he informed that this was happening due to technical error at your end; He also agreed to refund the debited amount back. The transaction Id for this was [protected]. He also deactivated the services of hello tunes after I tols him that this was activated without my consent or knowledge and I do not require these services.

2. On 27th August 09 my account was again debited for Rs 62/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. This brought my balance down to Rs 7.79. I spoke to Mr. Ankit at your customer service dept at approx 11.00 am and he refunded back Rs 47/- online. Ref Id for this is [protected]. The balance was 54.79 now. I received a call from your airtel assuring that the balance amount of Rs 60/- will also be refunded approx around 12.35 am. Ankit confirmed he is deactivating the services of hello tunes from his end and I would not face any problems later.

3. Again on 27th August 09 my account got further debited for Rs 25/- at around approx 2.45 pm for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 29.79. I spoke to Ms Bhavna at your customer service dept from your GK II Outlet and she refunded back Rs 30/- approx around 3.45 pm. bringing the balance upto 59.79.

4. Again at around 4.30 pm on 27th August 09 there was a further deduction of Rs 45/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 14.79. I spoke to Mr Vinod at Customer Service Dept at around 6.50 pm the ref id for this is[protected].He also promised that he is deactivating the services of hello tunes.

5. In the morning of 28th Aug 09 I spoke to Mr. Akshan at customer service at around 10.15 am regarding deductions due to Hello Tune Preview Manager. He transferred the call to Mr. Tauseef who once again confirmed that Rs 60/- will be refunded on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected]. He also agreed to refund Rs 45/- online. I told him there is no point since it will again get debited within 20 - 30 minutes automatically for this hello tune service and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. He assured it would not happen since he is deactivating the services. He also confirmed refunds will be done on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected].

6. On 28th August refund of Rs 60/- was done by Airtel and I received a call at 01.20 pm for the same. I spoke to Mr. Rajesh Chauhan at your Customer Service at around 8.30 pm and got a refund of Rs 40/- . Ref Id for the same is [protected].



7. On 29th August 09 there was deductions once again on my account due to activation of News Pack once again without my knowledge or consent. I spoke to Mr. Mumtaz and Mr. Naren regarding this at around 9.45 am. They registered me once again for DO NOT DISTURB SERVICE although I had previously registered for it. I spoke to Mr. Sameer who is a Floor Incharge at your Customer Service and he refunded back the amount debited. The ref id for this is[protected]. This refunded brought my account balance to the correct amount.

8. But unfortunately again on the morning of 06th Sept 09 I found money deducted from account for subscribing to Pre Listen options once again without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr. Shahbaz regarding this. The complaint id for this is[protected]. Again in the afternoon at around 2.00 pm there were further deductions and that is when I decided to visit your Gurgaon Sahara Mall Customer Service to sort this inspite of being very busy. I visited your Office at Sahara Mall and by then I found out there had been further continuous deductions on my acct when I checked my balance bringing my acct balance to Rs 9.79. In fact my balance got deducted while I was in your office in front of your personnel and I showed it to them. They could not give me any satisfactory solution to why this was happening automatically. I met Mr. Mohnish there and he refunded back Rs 100/- on my account saying that Airtel Live is getting activated in my acct. he also confirmed that he is deactivating the Services which were active and also showed me message regarding
that. There were no further deductions on 06th Aug 09 or 7th August Morning and Afternoon. I MUST POINT OUT HERE THAT THROUGHOUT THIS DURATION THE MOBILE WAS CONSTANTLY WITH ME AND SWITCHED OFF IN THE NIGHT OF 06TH AUG AND 07TH AUG. Again on 08th Aug morning I get a sms saying that Rs 15/- has been further deducted for downloading some song which I am not aware of without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr Mohnish who had given me his mobile number [protected] and works at your Sahara Mall Outlet. He told me to contact Customer Service to speak regarding this. I called Customer Service at 10.10 am on 08th September 09 and spoke to Mr. Abhijit who confirmed that Airtel Live Services were still active on my acct inspite of Mr. Mohnish deactivating them on 06th Sep. And I had not subscribed for any AIRTEL ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND NEITHER DO I WISH TO SUBSCRIBE FOR THESE. Mr. Abhijit confirmed that this is happening due to technical fault at your end and agreed to refund the money that had got debited. The ref id for this is 08119275. I also spoke to Mr. Mohnish once again regarding this who insisted that this was happening due to my fault.

I am requesting you to kindly look into this matter and solve this once and for all because I am sick and tired of calling your Customer Service every second day regarding this and not getting any permanent solution about this. There is no point you refunding me the money and it again getting debited automatically. Hence I request you to kindly investigate my case with your Technical Department and give me a solution to this. I have been unable to contact your Technical Department inspite of trying numerous times. If you are unable to offer me a solution to this then I will be left with no other option but to cancel and discontinue my all other AIRTEL connections eg. Other mobile, landlines and Broadband.

I hope you will look into this matter and offer me a permanent solution for this matter.

Airtel India — amount of 100 rupee is debited

using airtel prepaid card from three year …on 4-3-08 @ 10.59 I got a sms from 69699 that airtel online service is activated and a amount of 100 rupee is debited from my account but I had not sent any sms to activated any service and when I had called customer care @ 121 they had no reply to give me . so I do my 100 rupees is gone and even I don’t know how to use this service. The customer care service is Horrible customer care service ever seen so any one help me out what I do ???? please help me out

Airtel — Unnecessarily debited Rs 100

I have been debited Rs 100 INR. from my Airtel lifetime prepaid ([protected]) on 06.06.2008 at 10.05 pm. After calling customer care they tell no details are available for such debit from your balance

Airtel Prepaid Connection — Deduction of money with out my consent in account of 'Hello Tune' I never asked for

I have been receiving one sided ‘SMS’ from Airtel (HELLO TUNE) services(since few months) what I always keep on ignoring (with out bothering same), but now I have been noticing regular deduction of money from my A/c(mobile no.[protected]) which is really surprising to me and disgusting as well.
Then, I contacted customer care of Airtel(No.[protected]) and asked to revert back all the money deducted in this ground so far by describing entire dissatisfaction in this issue.
But, I yet to receive any positive reply or action in favor of me.
Therefore, I would like to request you to please look into this matter on priority basis at the earliest.

THE CONCERN HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED YET BECAUSE I THINK AIRTEL DOES NOT BELEIVE IN RESOLVING PROBLEMS FACED BY CUSTOMERS THEY ARE JUST INTERESTED IN FLEECING CUSTOMERS. I HAVE AGAIN GOT CHARGED RS 15/- TODAY 14TH SEPTEMBER 2009 FOR "PRELISTEN OPTIONS OF HELLO TUNES" WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND AUTHORISATION INSPITE OF BEING PROMISED BY BOTH OF YOU THAT THESE CHARGES WILL NOT BE DEDUCTED AGAIN ON MY ACCT. IF THIS DOES NOT GET RESOLVED IN THE NEXT 24 HRS AND IF A WRITTEN ASSURANCE THAT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN IS NOT GIVEN TO ME THEN I SHALL PROCEED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL.

For Cheap publicity Dr. Mohsin Khan and Dr. Virender Singh ["Airtel Customer Service Team", it should be "Airtel Customer Exploiting plus Services Team"] will reply in this forum.

Even I am planning to file a case against these suckers in Consumer court. Give me your email id, so that we both can join together.

Airtel prepaid balace debited without my requesting any services. — Request for refund the debited amount.

I have two prepaid airtel connection in my name. One is [protected] and other is [protected] with lifetime validity and 60 paise per minutes call rate for the both numbers.
I exactly not remembered but from the 1st day of December, 2009 to date i.e. 25/02/2010 my available balance was debited by airtel without authorised them or requesting or unising dilling any services by me and redueced to nil in respect of my mobile no. [protected].
In the same way, many times between the period from the month of October, 2009 to date i.e. 25/02/2010 my available balance was debited by airtel without authorised them or requesting or unising dilling any services by me and redueced to nil in respect of my mobile no. [protected] also.
In view of the above, I request to provide the details of charges with services for which the amount has been debited in the account of my both mobiles through my email address i.e. hr.[protected]@nic.in. I further request that the amount debited in my both accounts may please be refunded to me at the earliest to keep me with airtel for ever.
I have airtel prepaid phone, and they debit early more than 100 Rs. by enabling some portal service on my phone. After asking they told you only enable sir and told cannot refund but will disable

Again recently they activated Hello Tune on my phone and deducted 30 Rs. after asking same answer you activated Sir and we cannot refund

Stupid hole after asking that did you record the conversation of activating from my side. I get an answer we do not record this Sir.

Airtel is playing tricks and making money from poor people, specially Prepaid as they do not know how much is getting dedecuted.

Airtel — Unnecessary money debited from my mobile

I took a new airtel connection phone no. [protected] and in a span of 3 monthss since the connection started , value-added services (VAS) automatically are activated on my phone 6 times, without my knowledge and consent and amounts are debited from my prepaid account.
I have complained to airtel all 6 times, they are so shameless they keep repeating the same fraud again and again.
The same cheating 6 times in 3 MONTHS

Please refer to my earlier mail dated 30.5.2011. I am re-submitting the complaint as under.
I am the holder the your Airtel Mobile No.[protected] and to state that I am not satisfied with the services provided by you. Rs.15/- was, some time back, deducted by you unnecessarily and later refunded up my request to the Customer Care. Inter-alia, I requested to activate Do Not Disturb on my number, but again after 2-3 days Rs.30/- was deducted. I complaint to the Customer Care, who later informed that the amount will not be refunded and till date I have not been refunded the same.

A couple of months back also, the amount was deducted and not refunded.

I request you to please look into the matter and instruct the concerned to refund the deducted amount immediately.

I further state that I do not want any promotional call and SMS etc. on my number where any amount is charged for activating the services.

Bharti Airtel / Prepaid Mobile Connection — services activated without my consent

I am using airtel prepaid mobile connection from last 5 years... since last 6 month it has been observert that the airtel live/ airtel blog service active in every month in my connection without my concent & debit the charges... now airtel blog service activet in my connection since feb 2011 & also activate one more service from 27th june which couse to deduct Rs 2 per day... & when i called to customer care no one ready to trasfer call to senior person.... & again activate the hello tune on 30th june without my concent & debit Rs. 45.. I am frustate because of this service now i want my all my money which deducted because of services activated without my concent
