[Resolved]  Airtel — Prepaid to Postpaid Migration

Hi,

My number is [protected] .I've placed a request for prepaid to postpaid(Corporate) migration on 06/05/13 to one of the Airtel representatives(ARIF) at My office with all the documents and got a postpaid sim. It took 8 days time to submit my form at his office meanwhile i tried calling all this while but her never answered my calls 8 day later he came saying form has been submitted and he disappeared. Then on the 15/05/13 there another executive (Sashidhar) came and said ARIF is resigned and he didnt submit any of the forms. then i had to submit all the documents on 16/05/13 to Sashidhar and got another sim, the agent made me destroy the old sim card since there is new application processed for the same, for 3 days number worked fine and the 3rd day (21/05/13) i've got a message stating the migration is completed and you can insert the new postpaid sim and enjoy the services. Here is my problem started when i insert a new sim i dont and signal tried whole day with no use. Next day when i contacted the Airtel reprentative (Sashidhar) he said the number was activated with old sim(provided by Arif) and said he placed a request for the sim number replacement in database. now Its been 4 days my number doesn't work anymore. when i call my number the responce i got is "Thing number Doesn't exist". for the last 4 days i've been trying to contact the Sashidhars manager (Sudhaker) he says he dropped in a mail and there is no responce and i contacted Mr. Ravi who is the Channel manager for airtel conrporate he gave the same responce saying he dropped in a mail to concerned dept. for last 2 days there are not even bother to answer my calls. There is an important occation at my home and my number was printed on all the invitations. and i've lost all my contacts and i've lost the Caterers just because my number wasnt working. This kind of treatment i've got from AIRTEL which i never expected. i'm now available @[protected].

Airtel Postpaid — Migration

HI,

i had requested for Migration for one of my post paid numbers in the two which i had . And after getting behind them for 20 days, they had Termiated the servies for the other number which i had not given any request.

And for each and every thing they were asking me to go to Airtel outlet. There they ask me to call Customer Care and these customer care people will say to meet Outlet.

And at last its all waste of time, money and Time for me.

This is the best Experiance i ever had with these kind of Mobile service providers we have.

Airtel — Higher Charging for Migration SIM

Respected Sir/Madam

I have lost my mobile last month. So, am in need of migration SIM. So, I contacted the Airtel Show Room near our place (Kalpakkam). They said that the price of Migration SIM is Rs.200/- But when i contact customer care they told that it is only Rs.150 only and more over they are providing wrong details like it should be activated with in one month from the date of loss. If these AIRTEL Show room itself charging higher than the normal price then what is the difference between a recognized dealer and a normal vendor. Below i have provided the detail of the Agency. Kindly take the necessary steps in providing the proper solution in this issue.

Air Tel Service — Post Paid to Pre-Paid service

Dear Sir/Madam

i would like to bring it to your notice that i am using Post Paid connection number [protected] of Air Tel from last 4 year, i was not getting the bill properly, billing amunt was not proper, for examlple i had not activited Missed Call Alert and the service provider were charging from last 14 months, and finally i brought to there notice and it was de-activated.

For all this reason i have changed my post paid connection into pre-paid and i have cleared all my outstanding on 30/03/09 at 4.30pm and even recharged on the same day for the same number, but till now(02/04/09 - 11.30am) my numer for pre-paid connection is not activited, there is no incoming are outgoing from 01/04/09. this is way Airt Tel Service provider is Harissing the costumer.

i kindly request the concerned person to help me out and give the service to my number at the earilest.

AirTel — complaint on postpaid migration

I had requisted airtel to my migrate my prepaid number to post paid, and I had submitted all documents on 25th April, it's already week over but still my post paid account is not activated, as airtel paople commited that this is going to be activated with in 48 hours of handovering documents and they are cherged rs 300/- as surety deposite, but no use ...

My mobile nos: [protected],[protected]. i submit the details on 01/01/210 at u r airtel cromepet office. 04/01/10 these cards will work as a prepaid card this information i got from ur airtel crompet office at the time of new forms sumit. so monday (04/01/10) nearly 8:00 pm i called through [protected] to [protected] told me now u can use the card. After that recharged Rs.100 and Rs.245 for rate cutter for each mobile. but mobile shows the balance making calls no balance in airtel service. i am getting this information. again 05/01/10 went to airtel office crompet i talk to the prepaid services the reference No:[protected]. she told me after 09 hrs card will activate. until now these cards are not activate(06/01/10, 08:00 am). Pls give me a details when it will activate? through sms to my mobiles.

Airtel Mobile — Post paid to Pre paid MIgration

I am Venkatesh Airtel-Post paid customer wish to change to Airtel-Pre paid and submitted the application & cleared the Outstanding & Unbilled amount for the same on 23rd jan 2010 in Kodambakam(Chennai)-Airtel showroom. Airtel peoples over there informed me it will take 24hours for migration(So expected 24th Jan 2010), but it was not happened and the 121 guy whom i called informed me 54rp still left as unbilled amount as our system shows the balance amount only before 2 days, so i went back to showroom and paid the same and the Airtel people informed me today evening i.e., 25th jan 2010 it will get migrated to Prepaid.

Each time when i call up Airtel 121, i want to tell my history what all the things happened till date and they raise a complaint(which gets closed automatically with a invalid reason)

Latest 121 call details on 29th Jan and the reason from 121 person - There is a difference of 20paise, so we are unable to continue our migration process, if this is so!! rather i am calling they should have called me up (or) messaged me (or) at least when i cleared the amount in Airtel showroom - should have informed this. I asked 121 guy to patch me with a senior official but there was a silent after that....i waited around 15mins in the call but no response.

All the complaints mentioned above has a dead line of 29th jan except 1 on 1st of Feb 2010, they closed all the deadline complaints of 29th jan as its a duplicate of other and the latest is still open for the same, if it is duplicate how can they raise multiple complaints for the same issue instead 1 taking forward(121 peoples needs to show up - No. of COUNTS???).

If this continues i no longer will be an airtel customer please disconnect the connection and this time don't charge me a monthly rental( as the application is already submitted on 23rd jan).

I don't want to mention any of persons info here, as this clearly shows the entire Airtel mistake(A poor system).

I am Varinder Singh Kambo S/o S. Mohinder Singh Kambo R/o Faridkot, Punjab. I am here to complaint about Airtel Communication. I am using my Airtel no [protected] from 3 to 4 years. This no is postpaid number before 7 months i convert my Airtel number prepaid to postpaid. But on 16-July-2011 Airtel convert my number into Prepaid but beside my number is also working in postpaid. This number is working mode on Prepaid and Postpaid equally. My Airtel connection sim number is[protected]. This sim number is working in prepaid and postpaid. Airtel convert it into prepaid without any application and information. But the drawback is no working in prepaid and postpaid equally. Please solve this problem.

I have a problem regarding my mob.no [protected] from prepaid to postpaid migration at ARC Sheetal cummunication rohrohtak 124001.
Hi my name`s RK Lalthanpuia.

On 23th Jan 2015, i`ve opted for prepaid to postpaid migration in my airtel number, Mumbai Area from Airtel website, http://www.airtel.in/mobile/postpaid/tariffs/ . On 24th, Airtel sent executive from Telemax Service to get appropriate documents, and he gave me airtel new postpaid SIM but same number and i gave Rs 300/- for the new SIM. Now after 1 week(31st), i finally got signal in the new SIM and hence my old prepaid SIM was deactivated, when i tried to call someone from my phone, it was redirected airtel executive and every verification/confirmation was done, she informed me that postpaid will be fully activated after 30 mins. That was yesterday 31st at 14:00 hours, now it`s more than 1 day and the postpaid isn`t activate and i can`t use my phone for nearly 1 day now. And Airtel customer service is clueless in solving my problem, they simply continuously(more than 10 times) transferred my call from one executive to another. Finally they told me that they couldn`t find any data relevant to my new Postpaid connection!! I don`t understand what kind of service they`re giving and i am anguished by them.Their so-called premium postpaid service is a hoax.

This is Sailesh Reddy and my mobile number is [protected].

I made a request one week ago for migrating from prepaid to postpaid. A guy has come and collected all the documents and collected rs 300 as well.

But till now it was not done and when i called the helpline number [protected] there was no proper information and moreover i was told that the request was cancelled.

I dont know what was the reason behind cancelling this request after collecting rs 300 from me.

I using Airtel since 5 yrs and my minimum bill would be rs 800/month.

I was upset with what had happend. Now i am going to raise a complaint in consumer court and also moving from Airtel to Vodaphone due to its worst third party verification vendors.

I request to you to file a complaint on Airtel for harassing the customer and see to that Airtel pay back the amount i.e 300 i have paid to Airtel.
