AIRTEL WILL FORCEFULLY TRY TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS WHO ARE MOVING FROM AIRTEL TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER.
THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE.
FOR CHANGING THE SAME NUMBER TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER A CUSTOMER OF AIRTEL HAS TO SEND SMS TO 1900 WITH MESSAGE "PORT <MOBILE NUMBER>"
AFTER SENDING SMS A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE SHOULD COME REGARDING CHANGE OF NUMBER.
BUT AIRTEL PURPOSEFULLY REJECTS CHANGING THE SAME NUMBER TO ANOTHER NUMBER SAYING APPLICATION REJECTED
INSTEAD OF GIVING THE MESSAGE INSTANTLY, THEY WILL CALL YOU BY PHONE ATLEAST 30 TIMES FROM DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS.
EVEN IF YOU SAY THAT I DONOT NEED AIRTEL, THEY WILL PREASSURIZE YOU BY USING THE TECHNIQUE OF IRRITATING BY CALLING FROM ATLEAST 30 DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS FROM DIFFERENT EXECUTIVES. FINALLY IF YOU DIDN'T GIVE A "ACCEPTABLE" REASON TO AIRTEL THAT WHY YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE SERVICE PROVIDER, THEY WILL NEVER ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE YOUR NUMBER TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER.
THIS IS THE CASE EVEN IF CUSTOMER PAYS THE FULL BILL AMOUNT UPTODATE.
THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE.
NEVER TRUST THESE FRAUDS AGAIN.
