Airtel — Very poor assistance to customer
On 8 aug i got 2 messages that my yahoo zone services have been renewed and 10 rs have been deducted as i have never activated anything like that so i asked the customer care 1st time they cut call 2nd time they said we dont have your updated data so wait up to 10th aug your will be refunded but no action was taken so i called today again 11th aug to customer care they asked me to hold so that they can check the details and after charging me for calling them for 6 min they cut the call againAirtel — Extremely poor customer service
I am an Airtel customer with land line and internet broadband connections, since beginning of April. Airtel promised to send a qualified personnel for installation of my broadband service but sent a completely incompetent person who could not do the required set up and answer our queries. Since then my wife and I have been following up with Airtel executives who sold us the connection in the first place and the Airtel helpline for the last one month and more, to send us an alternative person, but to no avail. The Airtel helpline (198) even refuses to give a complaint number. Whenever we call them, they tell us "our systems are in updation" and ask us to call back in 2 hours; and these happens during normal office working hours on weekdays. When we call back after 2 hours, they tell us again that "our systems are in updation" and ask us to call back in 2 hours. When I asked them to register our complaint and give a complaint number, they refused to do so and once even put the phone down abruptly. Is there any other way of escalation? Even i applied for Broadband and Fixed line connection in Airtel. Almost 1 week is completed.Executive who came and got all documents promised that within 2 days all installation will be done.But its more than a week and didnt get proper response from any one in Airtel. If i call to customer executive, not getting proper response and they disconnect the call immediately. Very worst service from Airtel.By the Way, this is happening in Pune. Please dont go for Airtel connection in Pune.Very Very worst service never seen.

AirTel — VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH A CUSTOMER CARE,IO ACTIVATE MY INTERNATIONAL ROAMING , ITS TAKES MORE THAN 30MINS JUST SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE PERSON. THEN WHEN I TOLD TO ACTIVATE MY INTERNATIONAL ROAMING , HE TELLS ME YOU HAVE TO CALL MAHARASHTRA . I TOLD TO GIVE MAHARASHTRA NUMBER THEN IT TOOK AROUND 15MIN TO GET THE NUMBER. I HAD BEEN CALLING FROM OVER SEAS, I CALLED THE OTHER NUMBER AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO TALK TO CUSTOMER CARE. JUST WAS KEPT ON HOLD FOR LONG TIME , AND I HAD TO HANG UP. SAME THING HAPPENED LAST YEAR , AND MY SERVICE WAS DISCONTINUED AND MY NUMBER RESOLD TO SOMEBODY ELSE.I HAVE LOT OF BAD TASTE FROM AIRTEL TO TELL BUT DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME. YOU GET LOT OF ADDS, UNWANTED CALLS....ETC.. THEY JUST WANT CREAM WITHOUT PAIN.......VERY SOON VODAPHONE IS GOING TO TAKE OVER...AS THEY ARE REALLY DOING VERY GOOD AT THIS TIME TILL DATE, (APRIL 2010).
