i use airtel mobile no [protected]. i am registered under do not disturb me call for the past two years. even though sam and calls used to come. in the last 4 months trice i made a complaint to custmer care trough phone and gave all the details they have asked and every time they they assured me that they will solve my problem. but not resolved. the last time when i made complaint i talked to supervisor ms malar and she gave the complaint no as:[protected] and asured me to give time upto 18/02/11 and she will she that i will be disturbed. but all waste. still i am geting the sms and calls. now i am bringing to your notice to take action on this
I have a mobile connection of airtel.I register my mobile no. under do not disturb service .my registration no is I[protected].But inspite of registering my no. and after making complaint again and again I am still receving promotional messange from various users.What is the relevance of this service if no impact of registering under do no disturb service

No solution still for my concern
I'm facing the same problem. My DND ID S[protected] which was resistered on Feb 23 2011. I still received ad calls and msges from [protected]@TF, LM-SOLDINGO, I complained to the Airtel call centre to escalate the problem again. Customer complaint number:[protected] they said it'll be resolved by July 7 12noon. But still I'm getting promo msges and calls from airtel itself.
Can someone please let me know if I can register some legal proceedings against Airtel for the customer calls.

i got the call from your office yesterday. as soon the call was disconnected i got 3 promotion msgs back to back then again in night. even today i received 3 msgs .

I have registered Do not disturb service. It is already activated and it is confirmed when I called to Airtel customer care. After activating Do not disturb still I am getting unwanted SMS. I have already booked three-four complaints for the same but still no action taken by Airtel. I am still getting advertisement sms on my cell phone number.

Airtel — DND Service and Billing
I was using prepaid Airtel Number - [protected], which I later on converted into Billing on 20th Jan 2009. My connection got activated after 2 days on 22nd. Before converting this number from prepaid to postpaid, I have raised the request to stop the unwanted calls and sms (DND service) on 28th August 2008. I sent the SMS on the told number in the required format and received confirmation sms that this service will be activated in next 45 days. But its more than 150 days (5 Months), still I am receiving all those unwanted SMS and Calls – Not Only During Day time but also, at night 2’0 clock and 3’o clock. I called many a times to 121 and spoke to N number of agents from your call center, but every time, those agents simply release the call saying that “I will check, please be on line” or “let me connect me to our supervisor”. Everytime, I am promised the call back in next 24 hours from the time I call on 121, but till date, no one has called me.Finally, I got to speak to Jhonson, - (who claimed that he was a Supervisor / Team Leader) and told him what I am going though, but as usual, he promised the callback and never turned back. My billing Cycle is 6th of every month, and I was told that I will receive the bill by 10th of every month. Today its 18th, I haven’t received any bill. Finally one of my friend told that I can also check the same from the website. To my surprise, once again one issue. Rs 84 were charged extra as Value Added Service, I tried calling once again on 121, and again one issue – my number was blocked on 121, everytime, I call, I get an Automated Voice – “Please send AIRTEL on 121 for any queries”, so I called from my friends number, and got this 84 Rs Waived off after having a waste discussion of 30 minutes. I explained him the entire story which he should tell me. This shows how efficient your agents are…..
After having this billing issue fix, I asked for Supervisor, once again, as usual, agent placed my call on hold saying that I will transfer the call, but I was on line for 1 hour listening to that stupid recording, but no one came online.
