[Resolved]  Airtel — Wrong billing, poor service

I took a SIM card for data and for use in my iPad. I never could use it and I took it for use while travelling .
Only bills started coming without heeding to resolve 15 mails and telephonic complaints sent to the company BHARTI AIRTEL. Instead they have started sending legal notice to me and harassing me without addressing my grievance .
All mails evoked no positive response and hence I have complained to MR S B MITTAL also.
Need justice.

Bharti Broadband Service — Wrong Billing

Airtel Broad Band Service at NOIDA-Q-75, sec- 12 ,NOIDA
I have been using this service for the last about 2 years.
The monthly subscription being Rs 850 + about RS 300 to
Rs 400 per month for telephone usage. My monthly bill was
around Rs 1200-Rs 1300 which was being paid regularly.
I did not get the bill for Jan 2008 so the payment got delayed.
The company disabled the services without notice. On enquiry
I was informed that a bill for Rs 3333 was pending payment.
This is unbelievable, specially when my phone is unserviceable
for last 15 days. Either there is a mix up with somobody else's
bill or there is definetly a mistake on the part of the billing
section. The customer care people are not ready to listen.
I have paid Rs 1500 on 20 Feb as interim payment against the
disputed bill. My Internet services still remain disabled.
On 25.5.2008, it is informed that my bill is debited with Rs.99 for downloading one game. The person, Shiji to whom i have talked could not gave any details regarding the quantum of dowloading i have done or the total time of downloading. She informed that it is recorded that one game is downloaded and an amount of rupees 99 is charged to me.

please request the concerned to reverse these charges..

AirTel — bad service and wrong billing

Sir, Maine 27th june2008 ko GPRSke liye request ki aur uske bad mujhe message aya ki apki GPRS seva suru kar di gayi hai, uske baad mera net nahi chala aur main bar-bar complaint karta raha aur mujhe har bar yaha asvasan milta raha ki aapki seva 4huors mai suru kar d jayegi . seva suru nahin hone par maine customercare par phone karke GPRS deactivate karne ke liye request ki to mujhe kaha gaya ki aapki seva 4 ghante main deactivate kar di jayegi, Uske baad na to koi bill bheja jisse ki mujhe pata chal pata itna bill kisliye aaya hai aur main mobile par aaye message ke according bill bharta raha .Baad me mujhe patachala ki isme GPRS ka bill bhi aaraha hai
For the Airtel Mob. no. [protected] Airtel made fraud billing of GPRS charges of Rs. 3124 in the month of December billing while the user have not made any uses of GPRS in between the given period. The details of the fraud is given below

gprs calls are starts from 15 Nov. 08 at 19:35:56 and continued up to 22 Nov.08 20:00:05 ( 8 days for 24 Hrs. while international roaming )

During these 8 days (15 Nov.08 to 22 Nov.08) incoming and outgoing calls also made and charged

The duration /Volume of the gprs calls made for 8 days is variable but call charge made rs. 4.40 fixed for all calls wheather it is for 05 minuts or for 35 minut.

Bharti Airtel Ltd. — Wrong Billing

I have a postpaid no that is [protected] in the latest bill of this no there is some ISD call charges but i didn't do any ISD from this no. when i Complaint this to airtel customer care on 15th of Feb 2009 they told me to rectify the bill but now they told me that bill is ok and i have to make the payment. How could i make a payment of those calls which i haven't done.

Please tell me what can be done in this situation.

Dear Sir, My Self Mr Manoj Ku Sahoo, Mobile No: [protected],
In the month of Dec 10 I got transferred from BBSR to Delhi so I contacted with your cust care to change my connection from post paid to prepaid But he had given a suggestion to pay only Rs499 and you will be connected for two years and u have to pay only the usage not any rental So I agreed and advice him to change the plan Next month I find bill came with Rs 499 rental so I assured that my plan has been changed But after one month when my 2nd bill reached I found once again u have charged Rs 499 Then I stopped payment Now many persons from Airtel had contacted me regularly for payment and listioning to my complaints they are also committing me to wave up the unnecessary charged to me But any body has not done any thing Only they are motivating me to pay the amount without doing nothing in my favour My unnecessary bills are follows Bill No[protected] Rs 465.75 Bill No[protected] Rs737.19 Bill No[protected] Rs 558 and Bill No[protected] Rs 955.81 Pls wave up these amounts and conform me so that I can pay the balance and you are requested to change the same to prepaid

I am using Airtel postpaid sim & I activated plan 175/- & got confirmation mail from airtel but still i got bill by 249./- charges when i called customer care then they put my call on hold & no answer ,So please help me,
