[Resolved]  AirtelDTH — New connection amount paid no response

I wanted new airtel DTH service and called the customer care representative to book a new connection. I spoke to Dipesh on feb 18th, 2013 and he colected all my details and sent me an email for the payment. The payment listed all teh collected details and I tried to pay through Internet banking, during payment through Billdesk, the merchannt name is displayed as SHELTRANS, I was not confident with this transaction so I spoke to him again, before this the representative called me nearly 5 times, I mentioned that I am not confident to make the payment as the merchant name is displayed as SHELLTRANS but he assured that they were authorised third party to provide this service. Dipesh called his supervisor Sujith Kumar and both of them assured that I am paying to correct vendor. After which I paid the amount and during the transaction at the end the transaction failed, but the amount has been debited from my bank account.

18/02/2013 BIL/[protected]/To airtel/SHELLTRANS_MI DR INR 1,590.00

I confirmed with my bank that the payment is debited to SHELTRANS. But Dipesh called me and said they has not recevied the payment at all. He said he will call me once the transaction is complete as he mentioned that some times it fails and the amount get credited to them later.

Today[feb 19th 2013, I ahve called the Airtel DTH customer 5 times and everyone who takes teh call mentioned that Dipesh will call me in 10 mins, I have not recevied any call till now.

Please someone look into this and let me know how to get back my money which is debited?

Airtel DTH — No Response after payment for new connection

Hi,

I made a transaction of Rs. 1640 on IVRS to one of an airtel representative (supposed) to buy a new DTH connection with Mega Value pack for 3 months free with set top box.

This is an internet fraud wherein I didn't get any confirmation over the mail of the invoice and there was no call from AIRTEL to install the new connection.

I called up CITIBANK and tried to cancel my credit card transaction of Rs. 1640 to the merchant.

I got the following Merchant Name and Address -

Same thing happened with me, I bought a new connection by payment of Rs 1590 through IVRS, and was given only a transaction ID, and then after that no news of installation, customer service executives just keep on going round and round.

he worst service is being provided by the company. My complaint no 8169936 and after that so many calls being made to the customer service and authorisied dealer in howrah are being kept pending for days altogether. the first complaint lodged on 18may 11 assured that complaint will be resolved by 19 the may. On nonresolving complaint got relodged on 20 may with an assured resolving by 10.30am. again complained and not resolved till now.
the system not to be purchased by any one. none will help in the resolving of problem.

the complete management to be blamed for not managing the system after strating the service in a brader perspective.

i will be filing case againist airtel for the poor service and discontinuation in service even after lodging complaints.

AirtelDTH — extra charge for dth plan

My name is sonu jindal. My custmer id in airtel dth is [protected]. I have 21.60rs plan per day for three connection but now it charge 26.30rs per day from last month. I call many times to customer care for that but after in two minute my call disconnect and i not able to talk them. I want my money back and next time i not want this type issue
On Feb 19th 2013, I was able to reach the representative in my 7th attempt. I spoke to Srinivas who collected all my transaction details and said I will get further details by today[Feb 20th] evening and there after the installation.
Feb 21, 2013, Is anybody hearing this, I have not recevied any response from Airtel Digital TV representatives and no idea about my connection status. Today I have called them twice and it goes to indefinite wait and disconnected automatically. Please help me to get around this.
@vinosthsruthi .. Even i am facing the same problem.. What happened... Is the issue solved or not
