[Resolved]  Ajith Enterprises (HP Gas) / LPG Consumer Gas — Don't pick up phones, Delay in refill

Of all the products and companies that I have dealt with in my life. I have found HP Gas (Ajith Enterprises, Jeffriguda, Mehdipatnam) to be the worst and the most pathetic of all of them. They would put all the other government departments to shame in their patheticness. All the other governmental departments should bow down to their high handedness and their sadistic pleasure in witnessing the plight of their customers. the complete details are...

First - They forced me to buy a rubbish Stove and lighter and charged exorbitant prices for that. I still have that stashed away. The lighter - around 200 with extra for Gas canister conked out in less than a month. The 20 Rupee lighter in my mothers house has been runnin now for two years.

Second - Nobody came to fix the gas, we had to do it ourselves (i had a different pipe and stove that I had already bought) though they also charged for the mechanic in the initial sign up.

Third - The mechanic came and slipped a lot of oil in the pipe and connected it, which is hazardous and not recommended as it can come out easily. He cared a damn.

Fourth - The gas was leaking after that and ran out much earlier than expected with less use. Probably because of the handiwork of that mechanic. We fixed it ourselves and the next month it was fine.

Fifth - I lodged a complaint -

A manager called me up saying that they have sent another mechanic who will fix it. The lady talked to me on the mechanic's cell and not mine. After we hung up, I understood that this person had basically come to advise. He said that slipping oil is ok and that all of them do it and that the gas is proper. Also asked me to come to the store myself and get another lighter. Thoguh I had already indicated the faulty lighter in my complaint. This was a fool around that they did. i stopped lodgning complaints resigning myself to my fate.

Sixth - Again in less than two months of that visit. I was faced with a different style of torcher mechanism employed by the lethargic staff at HP Gas. The telephone rings but they never pick up. After that, its engaged, what does that mean. If they do not want to attend to customers then what the hell are they doing? Forgot to tell that the last time it took me one hour of constant dialling and finding the phone either engaged or not being picked up purposefully. Today it took around a hour and a half in which more than one hour, it ranged but no one picked up.

Seventh. The reason why I had called to day was to tell then that its has been a lot more than the two weeks that they promised at the time of booking by refill, still no sign. I have called in some friends and there is a lot of cooking to be done. The gas ran out yesterday. Highly cheap behavior. I can never expect that they have ever heard the term "professional" in their life.

I have lodged another complaint[protected] as well.

My dad has an account in swami enterprises and it does not have so much of a problem.

Please see what work is Ajith Enterprises doing as this is a continuous issue every month. Ask them to replace my lighter and shun their lethargic ways. I am totally shaken by the unspeakable torcher that they have meted out me in less than 4 months.

To summarize, I would describe Ajith Enterprises' staff as highly lethargic, indifferent and careless.

The products of HP as more than double the cost with less than quarter the value.

The concern for customers - Less than none coupled with inflicting trouble and inconvenience through all channels and in every way possible.

cooking gas — CHARGING TIPS - EXORBITANT

IT HAS BEEN MADE FREQUENT THAT COOKING GAS CYCLINDER DELIVERY PERSON (ESPEACIALLY INDANE) ARE COLLECTING EXHORBITANT TIPS OTHER THAN THE THE CYCLINDER COST OF Rs.315.95.THEY DEMAND TO MAKE IT AS 325/- BUT NOW A DAYS THEY STARTED DEMANDING Rs.330/- ONLY THEN THE CYCLINDER IS DELIVERED IN TIME.ELSE WHEN WE ENQUIRE WITH THE AGENCY OR WITH THE DELIVERY MAN THEY SAY IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 4 / 5 DAYS, BUT THE BILLING MIGHT HAVE TAKEN PLACE SOME WEEK BEFORE,
Demanding TIPS for delivery of cooking gas is an evil practice that has crept in, in the society. Many times the delivery boys argue or deliver a used cylinders or leaky cylinders or inform door lock and delay delivery.

The amount what we pay per cylinder includes door delivery charge. Demanding TIPS is to be curbed. Authorities have to view it seriously and regulate the issue by any one of the following actions:
1. Fixing delivery charge and reducing the cylinder price to that extend. Customers will pay the delivery charge to the delivery boy.
2. Curb the practice of asking TIPS for delivery
I agree with Mr Adil Ahmed,

Ajit Enterprises (HP Gas) dealer at Attapur, Hyderabad is pathetic in terms of service. I am currently having an issue with getting a refill.

I have a single cylinder connection for which I had to struggle for near about 45 days.

I booked a refill (Booking# 294930), I got the SMS with booking id however I have not received the refill yet (till date). I lodged a complaint (#[protected] with HP, I got a reply from them within a day. HP said they have informed dealer to provide refill ASAP and gave a mobile number ([protected]) to contact in case of any issues.

I called dealers helpline and the mobile number continuously for an hour but it not picked up.

I am not saying organizations should have any sort of issues but when issues occur they should face it.

In all these years I understood that HP is still fine but this dealer is not doing thing as expected and HP should inspect Ajit Enterprises actions and take strict appropriate actions.
