[Resolved]  American Express Kingfisher First Card — Change of Terms and Conditions without sufficient prior intimation

When I applied for the American Express (Amex) Kingfisher First Platinum credit card in september 2010, I was told that the annual fee for the same was INR 5000. Further, the card offered me valuable reward points which I could redeem for several redemption options which included Kingfisher Air Miles called King Miles. The executive who sold this card to me, told that with several reward point redemption options, the annual fee of INR 5000 is as good as free as you redeem points more than INR 5000. However, somewhere around last week of April, Amex suddenly changed its policy of offering rewards points redemption options from several options to only allowing redemption for King Miles. This is unfair as I had taken this card with an understanding that it offers me several reward point redemption options. I understand that policies can change but Amex should have atleast allowed me to use this card as per earlier policy till i completed 1 year for which they had taken INR 5000 on the basis of earlier understanding.

Kingfisher Airlines — Customer grievance- Rescheduling not done at flight cancellation

Hi,
This is Mohit Tiwari (Customer). I have booked air ticket thorugh clear trip in kingfisher Airlines from Mumbai to Lucknow on 4th Nov'10 .I received SMS for cancellation of flight on 30th Oct'10 .

This is the second insatnce when at short notice flight is been cancelled by Kingfisher airlines. However , tHis time being Deewali season I had booked my flight well in adnavce.

I have called at call center to reschedule my airticket and waited for 45 minutes twice in the call center phone queue before i recieved any response.

Pl find mentioned below pathetic response received from call center staff.
Staff Spoken : Mr Pasha , Mr Srinivas.T , Mr Chetan from banglore Office on 30th Oct'10.

1: We are really sorry,no seats are available in the flight on the 4th Nov'10
2: They are giving me option of to fly on the Deewali night (5th Nov'10) and reach home in the night (10:00 PM), which is not expected to me , as i have booked ticket well in adnavce.
3: However, They have pressurized me on taking 5 th Nov'10 night flight , as i wont be left with any options later on .

My concerns :
1: Once i have booked ticket well in adnavce , why flight has been cancelled at such a short notice
2:If at all flight is cancelled , THere is no alternate option provided on advance bokking day( 4th Nov'10) by the airlines, although it is deewali time
3: I am not left with any option , other then beg in front of airlines staff memebers
3: This is the second instance , when flight at a short notice flight has been cancelled

I want a explanation and justice, by getting rescheduled airticket on 4th Nov'10 as a consumer we are not at fault.

Kingfisher Airlines — Reschedule

I booked an airline ticket in kingfisher for the date 9th Jan 2010.Ticket cost Rs.4004/-...due to personal reasons I decided to travel the next day(10th of jan) and tried to cancel the ticket.But since I found an option for rescheduling,I thought it will save time as I don't have to cancel and book once again.The ticket rate was Rs.2074/- for the next day.I thought they will take the rescheduling fee only and give me back the remaining amount.Person in the customer care did not tell me that this is not going to happen!!..They took Rs.500/- as rescheduling fee and did not give me the money back..in effect I payed Rs.4004+500 for the ticket that costs just Rs.2074..Even now the same ticket costs Rs3600/- only as per kingfisher website...THis means if I had canceled and re-booked it would be just 2074+500!!!...Because of this prank I lost around 2000Rs now...When I called the customer are they told nothing can be done from their side..what can I do?where can I complain?..please help me..

Kingfisher Airlines — Reschedule done without any intimations

My name is Shaik Mudassir Ahmed. This is the first time I booked travel with kingfisher airlines. I have a flight journey with kingfisher on 09-nov-2011. My journey is from Bangalore to Hyderabad(round trip). The outgoing flight which I originally booked was IT2423 departing Bangalore at 9.45am and reaching Hyderabad at 11.15am with PNR :- DZRJBT and returning back to Bangalore from Hyderabad on the same day by flight IT-3432 departing Hyderabad at 9.20pm and reaching Bangalore at 10.25pm with PNR :- NCLQTM.
Both my outgoing as well as incoming flights have been changed and there was absolutely no intimacy regarding the same to me. With a lots of difficulties and with a lots of negotiations, I scheduled my work according to the flights and at the last moment when I just checked the itenary casually, I came to know that flight timings have been changed and flight number has been changed without any intimation. I framed my schedule with a lots of difficulties and with your flights being rescheduled, its more difficult for me to change my entire schedule.
I called up to kingfisher customer contact center and with a lots of waiting time I finally got a chance to speak to customer care executive. I had to make a lots of negotiations in order to accept the options provided your representative. And when I finally decided to select one of the rescheduling options, call got disconnected. I had to call back once again and the second time and I was on waiting for more than an hour. And unfortunately the previous representative whom I spoke did not make any note on the reservation and the entire conversation was left without any documentation. I had to explain the entire situation to a new representative once again and there was an option that was available which was good to me and with a lots of hold time and with a lots of argumentation the representative agreed to give me a call back within 2 hours regarding an option that was compatible with my schedule. But there was absolutely no call that was given to me even after 24hrs. I had to call once again the next day and unfortunately once again even after such a big conversation, the representative failed to document the conversation. I had to explain the entire story once again for the third time. And with no other options available, I had to forcefully take the flights that representative offered.
Now there are following things which remained unanswered.

1.Why was there no intimacy regarding schedule change?

2.What stopped your representative to give me the option I asked for?

3.Why are your representatives not documenting the conversation? Your representatives failed to document the record for 3 times.

4.Why was I suggested that "REFUND" is the best option by your representatives?

5.Why didn't I get a call back from your representatives even after 24 hours?

6.Why was I given a "fake promise" of getting a call back by your representatives?

I have attached recorded conversation with your representative where he promised me a call back.

I am totally unhappy with the type of service I got from kingfisher and I had to spend a lot of more time and more money because of your reschedule. It affected me real bad. I really deserve to get some compensation for the inconvenience caused from your side. You have to compensate me by providing free meals on board for my trips on 9th and 10th of November, by providing free drop to my destination or by providing free trip vouchers. If you do not want to loose a customer permanently, you will have to give me a compensation. If there is no action taken then you will definitely loose me as a customer permanently. I hope there is something that will be done regarding this. I am hoping to get a quick positive response from your side. Thanks in advance.

what is the solution for the redemption points on amex card already been transferre as king miles. Is there ay way that those points can be reinstated so the they can be used with any other amex brand partner?
