[Resolved]  Anna University — Unfair marking

Complaint on Velammal Engineering College : I am a humble parent of a ward who joined government quota engineering seat in Velammal Engineering College, Surapet and after getting government quota medical seat left the Velammal Engineering College and joined the medical seat. Since medical counselling was late this kind of situation taken place. I requested the Velammal administration to return some part of my hard earned money >Rs.50, 000/- as first year fee for just days of class attended by my ward. But i have received big 'NO' and i ran piller to post many times to Velammal, but totally tired and tarnished. I came to understand some colleges like Kumaraguru have paid back the money entirely just cutting few days hostel and mess fee to some of the parents in similar situation. I want Anna University or Tamilnadu Higher Education Dept or some good willed organisations concerned to come for our help and save us from this totally let down environment and psychologic trauma of loosing such a huge amount which we gathered very laboriously and painfully for our life. Please some body concerned come for help.


Mr.Muthuramalingam, Chairman or Mr.Velmurugan CEO of Velammal, Please be humane in your approach to the parents who have genuinely gone for betterment of their children (like you in your personal life too), cut the required amount just for the days of college attended and return the left over money. This will go a long way in your records of humanitarian approach in the cause of education you have known for.

Hello sir, similar kind of situation happen to friend. But he attended one month class, As u said he also got that NO

Later he approach it with help of politician and a lawyer. He got his money back

Respected Sir,
We are the second year students of ST.PETERS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLGY chennai-54. Sir we have some complaints against our college..

Against Teaching :
1)There is no better teaching staff for us

2)The college management is not taking any experienced teaching staff. we have 2008 & 2009 (ONLY) B.E passed outs as our lecturer for department papers.. they have finished only their UG course and they are not eligible to work as a lecturer...It is against the anna university rules..

3)The Department HOD's are not an experianced and there age is in between 22 - 27, except one . we are afraid that our college management produce false report about the staffs when there is any inspection.

4)The students are not satisfide with the coaching and we are not getting enough knowldge

5) and these staffs consider us as their slaves.. they dont even consider us as a human being..

we face a lot of problem in our college... and we are unable to express it.. and they use very bad and insulting words to scold us..it affects us a lot and make us to feel quite bad and we feel very ashamed to hear those vulgar words.. we cant even let those words out which they use often to scold us.. but our principal refuse to take action even after receiving enough complaints from us.. For avoiding any action from the college management side in future we are not specifying our identity.So please do not neglect this complaint letter as any dumb letter.

For these above written complaints we as a students kindly requeuest you to make an enquiry.We beg you to take necessary steps soon...Just please take a concerined over this complaint please do not throw away this letter.

Surprised to see the poor quality of Technical staff in Engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University in chennai

Surprised to see that most of the Professors, asst professors including HOD in computer science engineering in Eswari Engineering college; cannot speak good English

sir, m pass out student of psg coll.cbe.my young brother who is studying right at arrignal anna coll.2nd yr.college has took excess fee around 82000 as coll.fee and even not returning the original documents.its been month now.pliz help me sir..

M.E Student as faculty. why list is not complete one. many students name missed .why you didnt find it. whether you will find or not.

if you like do the good work find it properly otherwise leave it. donot do semi work. from semi work no useful for us.

even in the inspection time commitee get more many from management. management showing duplicate staff.
so do well properly otherwise you are all crimals .

I am a student of Indira Gandhi college of Engg and Technology for Women, Chengalpattu.
Sir this a new college that has been started in 2008 with unfinished and improper infrastructure. The Administration is also bad. The model exams are conducted after our university practicals. Leave is also not provided for half day after our model exams. I kindly request you to take necessary action

I am a student of Indira Gandhi college of Engineering and technology for women, Chengalpattu. This college was started in the year 2008. No proper facilities or good infrastrucutre and bad administration. UG graduates are appointed as teaching staffs. No bus facilities. Fees corruption is high. Unwanted and unnecessary fees are being collected. Example: Rs. 900 is collected every year for ID card and IV but we dont receive any ID card yearly. We have the same ID card from the beginning. Though the government declared a public holiday, no leave was provided on 17th oct monday for local body election. Model exams are being conducted after the semester lab. No half day leave is provided even after the exams. The college administration is very poor than a kinder garden. We are not treated as college students. Poor Transport facilities. I kindly request you to take necessary action sir. Thank you
