[Resolved] Ansal API — Forfeiture of booking amount

We had booked a flat with Ansal API in March end 2011 and paid Rs 5.36 lakhs as booking amount. We received the agreement copy for the same only after 2 months. And as soon as we received the agreement we did not wish to agree for the terms and conditions as the agreement was one sided agreement, hence requested for the concellation that is on 31st May 2011. But Ansal sends us a letter in July 2011 stating that since they did not receive further payments they cancel the allotment and forfeite the booking amount.

We have not signed any agreement with them. How can they forfeit the amount???

you can get your money by way of filing a consumer case and in the many cases earlier also consumer court has ordered Ansals to refund of the amount and awarded compensation also which may be between 50000 to 1 lakh.
I am also pursuing cases against ansals on various different issues.
