Axis Bank — Realization of cheque | |
I had worked as management trainee for panace biotec in the year 2002. Now in the year 2007 I had decided to withdraw the PF which gained from panacea lying with the Govt. The PF amount to Rs 7000 approximately was duly paid by the Delhi PF office by cheque in due time. It was paid in two cheques in a break up of Rs 5000 and Rs 2000 approximately. However the rs 5000 cheque was credited by the bank in my account in due time. However the cheque of value Rs 2000 was reported by the bank(Axis bank) that it has been misplaced while it was send to Delhi (since it was an outstation cheque). I had repeatedly followed up with Axis bank-Garia branch-kolkata, where I have a savings account and this account details was given to the PF office of Delhi so that the cheque issued by them is in the name of this savings account. The issue of misplacing the cheque is almost 4 months old and everytime Axis bank tells us that we r looking into it and will be realised soon. My self and my father had given them several written reminders but till date the amount of rs 2000 is yet to be realised. I request you to please help me on this and help me to get this amount realised in my account with interest paid in fixed rate from the time the cheque was misplaced. I am Deepak deshmukh, i am an employee of Future Axiom telecom Ltd, I had opened an account on 23rd sep 2009 at our Future Axiom Ghatkopar office .All documents were submitted on the same day
I have an salary account and my account number is [protected].
I had deposited by salary cheque of ABN AMRO, on 8th Oct, 2009. and on 10th Oct when i enquired the call centre, I came to know that even my details are not updated.
The call centre agent told me that i have to contact my branch, when i spoke to Andheri branch office, I spoke to Maithili who said that the detail was still not activated. Later that evening it was activated.
I was assured that my cheque will be cleared within 48 hours . When i spoke to them today- 16/10/09 they said that it will be cleared on wednesday 21/10/09
i wasnt even allowed to speak to your higher authority. bank staff named Umesh strictly denied it.
Its middle of the month and my salary is still pending because of your lethargic behaviour.
I want to know why was my account not activated for 15 days in the first place. Why was i made false promise on 10th that my cheque will be cleared in 48 hours. I expected your "esteemed" bank to be professional but it is worse that any government bank. I am facing so much problem due your negligence. I want an immidiate response from you and fix my problem ASAP
