[Resolved]  Axis Bank Credit Card — Harassment

Hi,
This is regards with the credit card outstanding payment of my husband Mr.S Sarkar card no#[protected], we were making timely payments on our card till 2009 however after that we relocated for sometime and settled back again in Mumbai due to which our payment was discontinued , however nobody tried reaching us in between these years, yesterday 25th March i got a call from Ms. Pragati ([protected]) falsely posing as an LIC agent and calling my office number and harrasing me for the payment ,she called me 12 times in between 1:00 to 2:00pm, repeatedly on my personal cell number and official landline number which is really not acceptable using profane language, Then they sent a mail to my husband’s office on his official Email Address stating that he owes money to Axis bank and this mail was aslo marked to the HR of the company where my husband is employeed, This is Horrible and it is against the Laws (trying to embarrass us in public) My husband could have lost his Job because of this unethical practice ,After which I got a call from Mr. Mr. Mangesh Pawar who poses as Senior Manager Consumer Lending Axis lamington Road Branch, i tired explaining him the real picture however he was very rude with me and kept saying that we Owe Rs 66,000 and we have to make full payment by today 25th March 2013,However the biggest issue here is that our credit limit was just 50,000 out of which we had only used 43,358 and we had nearly paid 21,750 and there were lot of payments made directly at the bank counter which is not included in this amount when I asked him to produce a statement stating how much we owe he said that “Beggars can’t be chooser’s”, i told him it’s not possible i need to refer the statement, he then called me back stating that he can offer us a discount of Rs 15,000 and our settlement amount is Rs.51,000 which needs to be paid in one go............after me fighting and screaming my lungs out to explain he said that I can make a payment in 2 parts , 1st payment will be of 30,000 on 28th March 2013 and 2nd will be of 21,000 on the 30th March 2013, This is mere harassment and mental torture , After this calling me after every 20 mins asking that how am I going to arrange that money is another pain and it puts me into depression, we to intend to pay however “why would we pay a single penny not knowing how much do we really owe?”This is a humble request kindly look into the matter i have been getting threatening calls from Axis Bank where i am Harassed end number of times since yesterday, this can harm me and my job as well if that happens i will make sure that i will lodge a case against these people. My husband is getting calls at his office number,my Mother is a heart patient she is been getting calls, they are trying to call everyone single person from my family wherein they have also tried pursuing me on social networking site such as Facebook,They are calling my mother back home and Mr.Pragati is using profane language while talking to her, which is against the Law, Employee from Axis Bank do not have the right to harass our family, colleagues and acquaintances. we are trying to sort things out but these people are taking it to a different level altogether, My husband went to Axis Bank Nariman Point Branch today 26th March and spoke with Ms.Shubhangi she was not able to give the statement he is been sitting there since 2 hrs now, they aren't ready to give the detailed statement for the same, Why is that not given? we have the full right to take a look at what we are paying and Rs 51,000 is NOT a small amount at all.
Please let us know the details asap, getting weird calls from Axis Bank employees pestering us to send an email stating that "We are ready to pay an amount of Rs.51, 000 on our credit card outstanding balance. we cant afford that a bigger amount please let us know how you can help us, Would appreciate if this matter gets closed soon, instead of harassing us mentally.

CREDIT CARD- AXIS BANK — HARRASMENT

I Mr.S.Mukherjee holding a credit card of AXIS Bank bearing no [protected] and expened approx Rs.31000/-. But not a single statement has come to me I have paid min amount from Ist month of my card. But due to my non availability in my home town I have personally met with a lady Rupa Lahuti regarding my details problem and requested her regarding my full and final settlement.( As per her advice I have personally given a mail regarding settlement and address changes on 14.12.07. But afterthat no mail no corresponding letter, no phone has come.
In month of Feb one collection executive came and behaved a bad manner with my wife. That time I was out of state and she has given Rs.10000/-cash . He said to my wife that we will get money receipt by courier. But still no money receipt has come from their ends. But suddenly one lawyer letter (Advocate of Mumbai )came on 30.03.08 to me with Reg.Ad where it is clearly mentained that I have to pay Rs.47000/- within 7 days. Please give me the solution at your earliest.

Axis Bank — Credit card harrasment

I had Axis Bank credit card. First 2/3 monthes they sent statements regularly. But after that they stopped sending for 3 months. after that they asked for an amount which is much higher than what I spent. I enquired and the they send me statement on email. I found they have charged all the late payment fees and all. I asked them to wave off this excess amount as I didn't get the statement in right time, so i didn't deposit the money. They denied. after prolonged mailing I got frustrated. I paid the amount, what I spend and not the excess amount. I also send back the card cutting it into pieces. They are not waving off this excess amount which occur due to their fault of not sending me statement at right time. I requested them many a time. But they didn't. And kept sending me sms and sometime statements. I'm extremely irritated.

even i received call from this number saying its a call from HDFC credit call due... they re calling my husband and my in laws... please be care full its fake call from this number its neither from AXIS nor from HDFC... than my husband called on same no they are sayings its LIC office he has due payment...so please be very care full when u all receive such calls do cross check... they will never send u credit card statement i[censored] ask for...dont get panicked and go for settlement...
