[Resolved]  Bajaj - Finance (Two Wheeler) — Harassment

HI, My proposal number is 141366. This is to inform you that i purchased a bike with the help of bajaj finance in 2006 with 24 Months EMI's which is paid off in the month of June'08 except two chqs of Feb & Apr' 08 (INR 5, 104/-) but when i went to Tarnaka bajaj office, hyderabad first i spoke to Recovery Officer Mr. Raju where is told me that my lona duration is 36 months which is incorrect & he said that there were four chqs (Dec, Jan, Feb & Apr) which was not cleared beacuse of irregularity on ECS from their side, where as i have alreeady cleared the amount for Dec & Jan in the month of February' 08 with receipt number[protected] issued by Om Financial Services & i tried to explain him the reason that my mother was hospitalise during these months that is why i fail to make payments but still i managed to pay Dec & Jan payments because i just dont want to be come into defaulters list but he told me that if you wnat NOC & want to clear this loan you need to pay INR8, 687/- (EMI for Feb & Apr - INR5, 104/-, Penalty of 4 chq bounce INR-2, 750/- & Ins-INR833), Where i have not taken any insurance from bajaj. Then i spoke to the Recovery Manager Mr. Nanda Kumar for waiver of just penalty which is INR2, 750 & i explained him the circumstances & Reason but he was so rude & mean, used profane language or not concentrating properly on my topic. Ths is just really not fare & appreciable that bajaj is doing like this after charging high interest rates you are still charging penalties which is not possible for a medium class families & most of the people who go for a loan belongs to medium class family. If this is the case i suggest the whole world not to go with Bajaj Finance atleast I request you to look into this matter & give me a waiver of just penalty fee & insurance amount which i have not taken or requested so that i close close my account with Bajaj. Hope to get a positive response from you ASAP & seeks appologies from Mr. Nanda Kumar (Recovery Manager) for his rude behaviour.
