[Resolved]  Bluedart — regarding damage claim

Hi SirMadam,

I have sent my luggage by your courier service (shipping number is [protected] and date -23/05/2009) with insurance and I found damage in my CPU. i have send mailed regarding this to blue dart at their custumer care mailid.i got this response from them.


Dear Sir

We thank you for writing to us

This is regarding the shipment sent through our network vide airway bill number [protected] dated 23/5/09 to Gurgaon which was delivered on 28/5/09 at 1500 hrs .

We wish to bring to your notice that this shipment was delivered in intact condition and there were no exceptions or remarks made by the consignee at the time of delivery. The copy of the POD is enclosed for your reference.

Please note this case of damage have been brought to our notice after more than 24hrs of delivery of the shipment whereby its not possible for us to carry out the investigation to a logical end to acertain if the exception occurred in our network or not.

In view of this it will be very difficult for us to justify claim settlement for this shipment

for future, we request you to bring any exceptions to our notice immediately after delivery or at least within 24hrs of delivery. This will enable us to do a proper investigation in absence of which we will not be able to settle the claim

Please get in touch with us, should you require any further clarifications.

Bluedart — Regarding complaint on the customer care executives.

Please ask your customercare executives to speak in a proper way with the customer.
Today i spoke with SUNITHA (customer care executive of Bluedart) she have spoken to me very rashly & she started shouting at me all of the once and this is not the way to treat the customer.

On what ground you are considering 5000 as claim .. The product which you guys severally damaged (AND IT IS IRREPARABLE) had cost us 15000/- and you guys charged us Rs 3491/- . We had shipped the product considering the brand name. I have been watching this email for over 2 months now and you all have been mentally harassing us for over 2 months now by asking same DOCs /Info repeatedly.

I would want you to process the claim for entire amount . Before i escalate to your senior leadership and file a harassment case..Let me know if you have any questions

Claim Letter :-

This is to inform you that we had a shipment (kids toy rechargeable bike) which was broken /damaged when it reached Bangalore.. bike is broken and irreparable..please initiate the claim for RS 15000/- and shipment charges RS3491/-.. Attached are all the documents

Please note this has been going for couple of months now and it is the worst experience with blue dart .. Bluedart team has been asking for the same info repeatedly and not giving any justification.We are mentally harassed.. we will wait for you guys to give a positive response and live up to your brand..
