[Resolved]  Book My Show — Money deducted but tickets not received

Even had the same issue. I booked tickets on wednesday for sunday 2.00PM movie 3d Avatar that is today unfortunately I lost the money and did not get refunded till now.

I was in touch with bookmyshow.com support by billdesks.com and they asked for transaction ID which I did not get while booking ticket and transaction was not successfull but amount was deducted.

I also went to Movie theatre Urvashi and checked if the tickets were booked but no tickets were booked since I dont have any confirmation number. I booked tickets twice once I lost 533.09 and another time 433.09 Even I want to file a case against them if they dont refund the same amount.

How do I file a case against them... its a Cyber law right? any body give suggestion...

It's very bad site...I have booked the tickets, amount was deducted from (NetBanking) the ICICI bank account and got the technical error -24001 from BookMyShow.com and didn't refund the amount for the same. Have booked the three tickets for 3 movie of BigCinema Chichwad 10:30 show on 28th Dec 2009, I have sent a mail to BookMyShow, but didn;t get any response yet as in their site has written one working day for get back the response. I have tried lots of time on your customer care number but this number is not in used!!! This is not the way to gain the confidence of the customers.

sir. on[protected] i booked three tickets through pnb net banking vide hot payment receipt no 2588268, but the tickets not received but the full payment has been deducted from my account, In
this regard it may be confirmed as early as possible or otherwise refund the payment

Hello sir,

On july 30th friday at 10.15am i made a payment of Rs 233 for MARYADA RAMMANNA movie for AUGUST 1st in PRASADS on BOOKMYSHOW due to some technical problem after the payment is done page has been reloaded.The payment is done with an REFERENCE NO:[protected]..Money is debitted from my account but i have not received the tickets so please react to this mail immediately and see that my money is back to me as early as possible.

I have a similar experience with Bookmyshow. Their website talks about everything on earth other than their contact details. The only no.[protected] has a long pre recorded directions which does not include an option for jaipur.

an amount of Rs.433 has been deducted from my HDFC a/c without any confirmation no. or details. the tickets did not get booked either. I want my money to be refunded.HDFC says that they are merely the facilitators in making the payments, corrective actions can be taken only be Bookmyshow guys.

Can some responsible ]person contact me on urgent basis?

BookMyShow — amt deducted from a/c not yet added

i hv booked patiala house , 3 tickets on 9 feb 2011 , but due to technical problem transaction failed but amt deducted from my a/c, i called help line they said mail us with screenshot o[censored]r a/c.
i did that but still waiting to receive my money back . plz take necessary action in this regard

I have made a booking for the 1 o clock RIO movie on 4 th May at E-Square, Ganesh Khind, Pune.
I have been debited of the same however yet to receive ticket confirmation.

I booked the ticket for the Argentina-Venezuela football match to be held on 2nd september, 2011 on 31st august, 2011. movie tickets — Money deducted but no tickets

I was doing the booking of the tickets from PVR site. I tried 3 times in which 2 times my money got deducted but didn't received any tickets while 3rd time I received tickets.

I was tried to Book 3 Nos of cinema ticket of Big Cinimas, ulhasnagar on 25.01.2013. But the transaction was failed and also the amount of Rs.350.55 deducted from my south indian bank debit card. Till date the same amount is not refunded.

I was booked 3 Nos of cinema tickets for the movie S/o Satyamurty in Jagadamba, Visakhapatnam on 14.04.2015 for 6.15pm show. Amount Rs. 229.80 was deducted from my onlinesbi but i have not received confirmed tickets for the above.

I booked Movie ticket through Bookmyshow app, Money was debited from my HDFC account but transaction was unsuccessful shown in bookmyshow app.

when i checked with HDFC bank, They told money has reached merchant and asked me to check with BookMyShow but i havent got reply for my mail.

BookMyshow is not reliable, its bogus.
