[Resolved]  BSNL mobile service — poor speed of gprs on internet

My friend applied for EXCELP fecility to get cheaper call rate
at 2 nos, following standard norms., by sending SMS to 53733.
one STD NO was wrongly activated,[protected] instead of
[protected]correct no), due to fault of BSNL Employees, though correct no was sent by SMS, ( message seved in mobile outbox).

After, repeated assurance to rectify their fault, now they are now telling in helpline that same cannot be rectified before 180
days.
Pl. do the needful to activate the correct no.

My postpaid mobile [protected] sim lost along with set, got replacement. However, unable to rectify the problem of out going calls.

when i have taken the GPRS connection the speed was 460kbps but now it is reduced to 115kbps. may i know the reason. pl reply.

Huy! My phone number is [protected] and it is under the Hamirpur BSNL circle. The problem is that the gprs connection speed during the evening hours ( between 7pm to 10 pm) is so small that I am not even to surf on the net. What might be the reason and how can it be solved?

I am using GPRS since nov 2008, every 7 days it is disconnected, after getting customer care calls it is working. now it is not working since weeks. somtimes it will get connected but download very slow.
please do somthing.

I have taken BSNL GPRS Voucher for Rs.99 on dt.3.3.09 and get recharge for 30days. Then I access internet for one day, for next day it was disconnectd automatically. Then after when ever I try to connect GPRS my mobile shows "Pocket data not available". Then I complain to Costomer care, they assure me for resetting but they did not. This was negligency or not.

I HAVE TAKEN GPRS POSTPAID, IAM STAYING AT MID TOWN OF HANAMKONDA AT NAIM NAGAR, WARANGAL ANDHRA PRADESH, NOT GETTING GPRS SIGNALS ON MY PHONE.BUT IN OTHER AREAS OF SAME TOWN GETTING NORMAL GPRS SIGNALS AND ACCESS INTERNET. WILL YOU PLEASE ANY THING TO WITH MY MOBILE /SETTINGS TO ACESS NEIBHOUR CELL TOWER SIGNALS

i have activated gprs on my mobile no. [protected] for using internet on my laptop . as they told me that the downloading speed will be 12 KB -14 KB but i am getting only 3 KB./ s

my prior advice to all af you is never ever opt for any narrowband wireless service

bsnl mobile gprs is too slow you should make it fast...

i think all the gsm mobile service provider company is not providing good enternet speed on 2g user, not only bsnl, but also aircel, airtel is giving the most worst speed.they have given a limited usage of 2gb and must provide a minimum speed of 15kbps.
