[Resolved] Cafe Coffee Day, Domino Pizza — non compliance to new service tax rates | |
Hi, As per service tax notification "Service tax NOTIFICATION NO 8/2009" announced on 24th Feb 2009, the rates were reduced from 12% to 10%. I have noticed that same has not been implemented on ground even today. The service providers continue to levy the old rates from customer which an illegal practice. As i say most service providers i can quote few Dominos, Cafe coffee day whom i have also requested on several occasions but that was all in vain. I would like to register a complaint against all these service providers whose bills are with me and they continue to charge an extra 2% Regards Was this information helpful? | |

I ordered tropical iceberg costing 47rs(printed price on the menu).
in the bill they showed basic price of d coffee as 109rs. and then they added tax and i had to pay sum of 125rs.!!!
