[Resolved] Chennai Traffic Police — POOR PLANNING IN CHAMIERS ROAD DUE TO CLOSURE OF CENOTAPH ROAD | |
Dear Sir, I am living in Chamiers Road-1st Lane, Nandanam. Today (23.01.2009) due to closure of Centoph Road, there was huge traffic and Traffic Police allowed all vehicles to go both sides of the median of chamiers road from satyam computers making this part of road also one way. With out knowing this many vehicles came this side in the morning and made almost jammed whole street. In the evening upto Park sheraton hotel they made it one way. Tell me how will I go home which is 1st lane of Chamiers road (which is middle between Park Sheraton and Satyam computers) if I am coming from TTK Road, I have to take Boat club road and reach Turnbulls road there again you can not take right so I have to go until ranjit Road signal in Kotturpuram and come down all the way back in Turnbulls road and turn at Satyam computers signal and come to my lane. From Park sheraton hotel to my home is just 300 meters and if I want to go from Park shertaton hotel to my home I have to travel nearly 5 to 6 kilometer. Is it not nonsense? Traffic Police have no planning. Just harassing common people. while going long route I was abusing Traffic Police in all rubbish language in my mind, which they really deserve more of this. The solution I suggest for Traffic here due to closure of centoph road is as follows. The vehicles coming from kotturpuram are basically want to go to mount road through Centoph road, if they are directed there it self to go via anna university, little mount and saidapet this much amount of vehicles will not come this way and this road is not mend for that much huge traffic. This traffic even make TTK toad jammed. Please some wise people suggest Traffic Police to make Chamiers Road two-way until satyam computers, and re-direct all vehicles at Kotturpuram itself so that they take Guindy route to go to mount road. My name is Loganathan.Last monday i was walking whites road near manikoondu. there lot of vechiles are parking with permission (with bribe). unfortunetly that day i was threaten two theives and they slapped me taken my cell. Hope a auto driver also helping that theives this incident. The time was just 9.45 pm only nobody walking that side. suppose the vechicles not there means may be my cell was not theft. I requested to all police dont get bribe anybody i[censored] bribe the other citizen also affected becuase of your bribe. please help citizents dont help local rowdies.

On last sunday 28 september evening near pothys i caught by the traffice police without any reason. He stopped my bike by coming suddenly blocking my bike way[ Iam not sure if i felt down he will not be in hurt]. He asked me the license and RC book i showed everything to him. His intention is get money from me so he told me that number is not in the correct format so asked me to pay the fine for tat.After that long argument he is not at all accepting for anything and not even listening my words. And also he is threatining me like he will put complain against me after I wont get bike from then like that he said. He fined me 200 Rupees and written only Rs 50 in the challan. When i asked him he again threaten me like any thing. Even he used bad words too.So simply i payed the amount and return back.
Please take some steps or teach them how to behave to the public.
