He told that he will repair or exchange the same and he told me to call on Monday (14.10.24). Due to my work pressure in my company I could not able to call him. I call today but he is not picking my phone. Kindly replace my door handle.

    As I bought 2 frock model kurtiin pothys tnagar near khadims pondy bazaar, it was tagged 680 taken for billing suddenly named thangaraj staff in 2nd floor came and received from me telling as he ll make bill I was watching in front of me he just changed the tag to 1235 I started questioning him he was lying no staff in 2nd floor are true to them except manager as he arranged it for 680 and arranged for cctv verification everything was against him no apologise from him main fraud is the purchase manager who is saying that we never do that fraud people on pothys they lost their faith and unfaith people

      I hope this message finds you well.

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an incident that occurred at your Trichy store's car parking area on [july 13th] at around 09:30 PM. I had parked my car and proceeded to make purchases worth ₹1000. Unfortunately, upon returning, I was confronted by approximately 20 individuals who began arguing with me and using offensive language. Their behavior made me feel like a criminal, which was a deeply distressing experience.

      I believe that no customer should be subjected to such treatment, regardless of the circumstances. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and as a result, I have decided not to return to Pothys in the future.

      I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the conduct of your staff and any involved parties to prevent similar incidents from occurring to other customers.

        I have bought the gold bangle from Pothy and i had bad experience because of their false promises. I have explained the issue below

        May 1, 2024:
        As a gesture of love and appreciation for my mother, I visited Pothys Swarnamahal Chromepet branch to purchase a gold bangle. Excited about the purchase, I entered the store, already having a chit plan valued at 23.177 grams in the same branch.

        Despite selecting a gold bangle weighing 32.100 grams with 12.99% Value Addition (VA). After bargaining, the VA was reduced to 11.00% and sales person provided the estimate. Despite this setback, I proceeded with the purchase, hoping for a smoother experience at the billing counter. But one of the sales executive insisted us saying, if we bought the same gold purchase on Atchaya Thiruthi (May 10, 2024), there is an offer on Rs.1500 per Sovergin additoinly with the current estimate which is 2% less in the VA. But we have to pay some additional amount for the purchase. The bill amount for the bangle is Rs.70000(seventy thousand) but they asked us to pay the RS.50000 (Fifty thousand) in advance. After confirming with floor manager on this, we proceeded on payment.

        Issue 1:
        At the billing counter, I was informed of a credit card offer providing a 2% instant cashback for purchases made that day(I already know this offer and i am planing to use this), applicable to HDFC Credit Card and ICICI Credit Card holders. Eager to avail of this benefit, I presented my HDFC Credit Card, only to be met with technical issues. Despite switching to my ICICI Credit Card, the promised discount was not applied. The explanation provided was vague and unsatisfactory. Billing person lethargically telling me my card is not eligible fo this transaction, but it was mentioned nowhere in the ad or the Pamphlet. This leaving me feeling frustrated and deceived.

        Issue 2:
        Fast forward to May 10, 2024, the auspicious occasion of Atchaya Thiruthi, meant to be a day of celebration, turned into a nightmare. Upon returning to the store, hoping to resolve previous issues, I was greeted by an overwhelming crowd. Despite the chaos, I approached the same place where I had selected the gold bangle, seeking clarification and reassessment. To my dismay, I was only offered a meager 1500 discount on 1 sovereign. After persistent negotiation with the floor manager, a marginal reduction of 2% was reluctantly applied to the current bill.(ATTACHED)

        Issue 3:
        The final blow came during a painfully long wait in the billing queue, enduring a three-hour(I took half day permission for this) ordeal. When it was finally my turn, the billing person began to dispute my estimate, leading to a heated argument. Matters escalated when the floor manager arbitrarily revoked the previously granted discount, followed by unjustified yelling directed at me. In the end, feeling defeated and emotionally drained, I reluctantly paid the full amount(ATTACHED), having traveled 30 kilometers, endured significant loss of time and opportunity, and suffered immeasurable mental anguish.

        Total amount of the bill is for 32.100 gram * Rs.5655 (with VA 12.99)
        But as I had chit,
        Chit plan Amount is minus for 23.177 * 5695.30 (on average) = Rs.132000.00

        Balance gram to paid = 32.100g - 23.177g = 8.923 g
        As 12.99 VA converted as a gold = 1.159g

        Total amount paid in gram = 8.923 + 1.159 = 10.080g * 6555 (as per gold gram rate on May 1, 2024 ) = Rs. 66088
        GST for Rs. 66088 = Rs. 1982
        GST for Chit amount 132000 = Rs. 3960

        Discount on Soveriegn (-) Rs. 1673
        Decresing Advance paid on May 1, 2024 (-) Rs. 50050

        Amount paid on May 10, 2024 Rs. 20308

        If they given actual discount as agreed below, the payable amount will be decrease to Rs.17280.
        False promise Difference VA amount after 2% = Rs. 1670
        Devised credit card discount = Rs. 1400

        Total amount i got benefited, if i was not cheated = Rs. 3028

        In the pursuit of justice and fairness, I humbly implore the honorable consumer court to grant me the compensation rightfully owed, thereby rectifying the injustices endured and restoring faith in the principles of consumer rights and accountability.

        In conclusion, the false promises, unprofessional conduct, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by Pothys Swarnamahal Chromepet branch have left me deeply disillusioned and emotionally scarred. This experience has not only robbed me of my hard-earned money but also my dignity and self-respect. As I seek justice and restitution, I implore the Consumer Court to heed my plea and hold the responsible parties accountable for their actions.

          I had visited your pothys Bangalore branch . I asked them to provide me a bill for legal issue. The manager in the beginning made me wait and told me that it would be arranged. Later he told me that they do not preserve the bills. They cannot retrieve the bill .The bills required were for the year 2019. They do not save the soft copies. Also the hard copy of bill provided do not even last for 2 years. The manager Anil told me that the bill cannot be retrieved. It is so irresponsible of a company to not save the soft copies of the bills . Atleast provide the bills which lasts atleast 3 years. As customer we have the right to ask for the bill. The soft copies of the bills should be stored for any future legal issues atleast. I am looking forward to get the bills .

            When i went to buy phone from pothys one mr saker from phone department told samsung ao5s is new model i told him i need 4g samsung new model which shouldnot heat and 8gb ram minimum. He told it will not heat and also told 4gb ram is already installed in phone and if you want 8gb u can change from settings. I told him i need atleast 8 gb ram. And i asked him to show how to change 4 gb ram to 8gb.. He opened the settings and showed ram options but it shows only 2gb and 4 gb.. I told him 8gb is not there.. He told 4gb already installed in phone i[censored] need 8gb u need to select this 4 gb from phone then it will become 8 gb.. But when we charged phone from our home its overheating and not able to use... Next day we went to pothys and told phone is overheating we need refund back.. They said that phone is not heating but its heating when they charged... Another guy came and he charged for 3 percent and said its not heating and they simply insulted us. Yesterday upto 10 pm we sitting in pothys they dodnt take any action. Even they are not considering the two ladies and not take any actions. And also truecaller is installed in phone and new phone is already charged upto 54 percent.. Today i contacted samsung service center they told truecaller is third party they wont install truecaller and the newly bought phone is 4gb not 8gb. When i heard this from samsung i totally upset and i am not able to eat food.. They cheated me.. Many times i called pothys and told this is cheating and i need my money back.. Noone take any action.. I need justice. I need justice. I need justice. I need justice

              From today I am withdrawing customership with pothys it is worst experience I faced at super market... I brought sunfeast supermilk biscuits it was written upon buying 2 packs 1 is free...at the billing counter the billing person said I will receive the free at free gift counter and removed 1 packet. But when I went to the gift counter the person responsible blamed me I have already taken the free packet and some other higher official attended and supporting the staff saying he will check cc camera... it is very humiliating pothys we didnot come shoping for your free biscuits check our bills previous with the number [protected] in the last year. For reference this is bill no 10/31568 ...happened around 10 pm april 15 2024.

                I have purchased a sofa and wardrobe 11 days ago buy still not received

                I paid the entire bill amount including delivery charges ..58098 rs in total.

                They promised to deliver on 10th Mar but that hasn't happened

                I went to the store again to check the status but the way they responded was really annoying

                Pothys sales persons will never ever do follow up or give proper updates to customer

                As a customer we have to spend money and follow up with these ppl because they will never ever bothered about customer service and only intention is to get money, close the bill and run away that's it

                So called manager also will only try to convince the customer and doesn't take any responsibility for delivering on time.

                Frustrated to the coreeeeeeeeeeee

                Iam not using any harsh words as this is a public forum

                  Hi there, we had a highly worst customer handling experience in your reputed retail at chrompet chennai(3rd floor). We had a chudi purchase. As per your sales staffs guidance it is possible to have alterations in that dress there itself. After billing we went to alter...literally I can't accept how that man handled us..not listening properly and reply is rude. And went to exchange rugged and worst way of handling. Being our family shopping place for years...I don't expect this. Kindly do take proper action.

                    I bought clothes worth 6400 today at Pothys, Madurai. I was going to pay it at 2nd floor and asked the guy to discount the already available points in my account. To my surprise he asked me to go to the ground floor for that. I also went from the 2nd floor to the ground floor. The guy at the ground floor then asked me to get it done at 2nd floor itself. I was totally pissed and came again to 2nd floor to the guy again. Now he is doing the discounting. I was totally frustrated by this and asked him, why he sent me unnecessarily to the ground floor for this, when it can be done here itself. For this there was no proper response from the guy. I am totally disappointed and frustrated by this careless and rude behavior from your staff. We are not visiting your shop as if we dont have any other work to do. And I have decided never to visit Pothys again.

                        We purchased a wedding silk saree worth Rs.22000 at that time they we’re issuing the gift vouchers we almost purchased dress worth more than 70000, In the gift voucher counter we got the gift vouchers for everything other than the silk saree as we did not have the bill so I asked the person who was sitting on the counter said u can bring the bill and get vouchers till 31st Jan but wen we went and asked for it they said the information was wrongly given we have got the information from ur sales person and now saying it’s wrong please don’t do such things and spoil ur reputation really bad experience do not fool the customers like this .

                            I had purchase a Saree from your Bangalore store on 4/5/2022.
                            The bill is attached below for reference .
                            After wearing the same for once only it was found that the saree is getting torn from various places .
                            The silk threads have become so fragile that it lost all its strength . Multiple areas got torn like paper .
                            The saree costed me 21741 and how come the quality is so bad that it is getting torn from various places .
                            It is evident and clear that the fabric and threads is of very poor quality .
                            I had purchased from Pothys even last month quality is never an issue .

                            This specific saree must be having some defect with the quality of the silk .

                            I need solution wherein I can return this and buy another against credit note to be issued to me .

                              Hi i recently ordered some groceries from pothys hyper chennai chromepet. I added all the items to cart and i selected pay on delivery. i got message saying order placed. its been 2 days, i keep enquiring them regarding same but no response, today when i connected they are saying order new. The online manager Nivas iss very unethical and unpolite. he didnt even try to understand my problem . My question was wht if i paid the money. He is lethargically saying we ll refund only u ask

                                I shopped at Trichy and spent about RS50, 000/-. The cashier at the floor I spent the monies was not able to upload the points into my card.. He asked me to approach the customer care at the ground floor. The care officers (I) said that the system was down, (I) can’ t upload as I had enjoyed some discount. Such inconsistent information given without any verification or explanation. When I said that was not what was informed to me, she kept insisting that she was correct. I didn’t want to argue with her. I have my principles, I said I will not shop at POTHYs any longer and returned my card to them . Of course there is no loss to POTHYs because of one customer like me, but sad to see such a large shopping centre has staff who are untrained, unprincipled and do not know what they are doing. I may have lost my inherited points or what I would have got today, but it is the principle of it

                                      On 28.09.2023, we visit Puducherry pothys purchased some garments and go to super market on that time my baby by mistake take some small green grapes and that place one lady staff ( name Parvathi) rudely take back the grapes for my baby .. After that rudely informed me not for eat only for sales we say sorry. We purchased some groceries and vegetables we go for billing same lady staff came and gave the bill Rs.11.40 for grapes.. we ask why, his said that your baby eated grapes charges..
