[Resolved]  Cleartrip — Online payment failed but amount was charged anyway!

On[protected] I attempted to make an online payment for a flight booking at www.cleartrip.com of Rs. 52,502 (Trip ID [protected]). However the internet connection was interrupted and the transaction status was showing as failed.
Shortly afterwards I received a call from a Cleartrip agent asking me to repeat the payment by using ATM transaction. Finally the flight booking could be successfully paid by transferring Rs. 52,632 (transaction ID “ATM/XFR DR/04-05-12/21:58:01/0”) to Cleartrip’s account.

After checking my bank statement I noticed that, despite of the failed transaction, the amount of Rs 52,502 had been also deducted from my bank account the same day. That means now I paid twice for the same flight booking! When calling the Cleartrip help line I was to told that this will be taken care of and I was asked to wait for some time. But nothing happened. Even after frequent follow ups (mails, phone calls, registered letter) it could not be sorted out and I was only asked to wait for some more time. Finally I was informed by the help line that this amount could not be refunded because it had not reached Cleartrip's account.
So I requested my bank ICICI to check this and got a written confirmation from them that the amount of Rs. 52,502 had been successfully transferred to Cleartrip account no.[protected] on[protected]transaction no. SB5979344).

I hereby demand Cleartrip to refund this amount without any further delay!

a transaction was made on Tuesday 5th February 2013 which was unsuccessful..and the amount of rs.10, 800 was deducted from SBI account no.[protected]...the trip was planned from Visakhapatnam to Guwahati...I didn't receive my amount back...please help

I was booking tickets and I ended up with booking failure but money Rs. 14498 debited from my account. Multiple times I have tried to contact customer care but they are asking me to provide trip Id. How can someone provide TRIP ID when booking got declined from website.

They are just nonsense and I am not gonna book any ticket or advice anyone to use this nonsense website. Just refund my hard earned money.

The above is the details in which my amount was deducted for a trip to mumbai.

so customer care executive called me and accepted through phone for the same and i booked the same through State Bank of India for which I got trip id as : [protected] at 15.30.

What happened to the amount which was deducted through bank of baroda, which your customer care executive assured will be returned within 4 days. But today[protected], i had not received.

Please check your accounts and return the same at the earliest.
I book in cleartrip site march 3rd 2019. Payment was failed but when i check my account it’s deducted. I called them asap. They told me they will refund the money. Wait until 2-4 days. But until now they not yet refund the money. I also called my bank and they told me that it’s successful payment. I hope i get my money back as soon as possible. Please cleartrip.
I booked in cleartrip Mobile App on June 16th 2019. Payment was failed but when i check my account it’s deducted. I called them asap. They told me they will refund the money. Wait until 2-4 days. I booked on cleartrip site of amount Rs. 21763/- (Trip ID:[protected] on 19 Nov. Payment was failed but when i check my account was deducted. On calling IVR say amount will refund within 5-7 days. But its already been more than 7 days until now no amount is refunded. There is no customer care number on which i can have conversation with their team. All number are computer IVR automatic reply. What to do, any suggestion ?
I was trying to book a ticket where the payment showed as failed on Cleartrip thrice while the Money was successfully debited.
