[Resolved]  Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam — Wrong billing

I had lodged complaint in Jan 07 for faulty meter reading since the period of Oct 06 onwards.DHBVN had inspected the same and verified that meter was faulty as it was working even when no Load was put .Therefore new meter was installed in Apr 07 after payment of 1750 rs. However even the new meter stopped working in July 07 which was promptly informed in July itself to DHBVN.DHBVN assured us to change the same immediately but finally changed the same only in Apr 08. All along this period i was asked to pay 600 units as average which was much more than the actual units consumed after new meter was installed.It was only after numerous follow ups that the dept adjusted the excessive amount paid by me .But to my rude shock in the month of Nov 09 i am being charged 25965 as arrears.DHBVN has taken the base period of Oct 06-feb 07 (which was already accepted & certified by them as faulty period )to calculate the bill for the month of July 07-Mar 08. All efforts to explain the authorities have fallen on deaf year.This is harassement of consumers for no fault of theirs.

The DNBVNL is the most careless, irresponsible and corrupted department. They make faults at their end but consumer have to suffer for their mistakes. Consumer have to pay for the mistakes made by them. Their must be a system and their should be a check on the working of local officials like ombudsmen to make complaints. I think doing this it ll be more easy for consumers to get their solutions at earliest.
My meter was been replaced in Oct 2010 and onwards to till date the actual units consumed are only 380 and i paid In November 2010 bill showing 440 units, and Jan 2011 the bill showing 2684 units. I don, t know how the bill been issued without taking the actual reading by only sitting in the office.In past also I have paid a hefty amount.Please adjust the amount in my future coming bills.The details of the meter is K. NO. [protected], A/c No. MM12-1317, name of Harish Arora, R/o 1397 sec 21D Faridabad

No electricity

This company cannot do anything, useless company, can't supply electricity, this company gives a big bill and no electricity for only 2or 3 hours at night.concer authority's should do some thing, why this only happens in sector 28 gurgaon, sarswati vihar, maruti vihar

I HAVE HT METER BEARING A/C NO. ND44-0007 IN THE NAME OF MUKESH GROVER A-2 OPP JMD REGENT SQUARE SUSHANT LOK -1 GURGAON. METER CT HAS BEEN BURNT DUE TO SHOT CIRCUIT
