Dell — Very poor service | |
I bought a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Windows Vista. 250 Gb, Core 2 Duo, 4 Gb RAM, etc., the best configuration that one can imagine. 1st laptop I bought, there was constant Blue Screen error. Got it replaced in 1st week itself. The other laptop started showing the same problem within 10-15 days. Was told that it's a temporary issue may be because of Vista or drivers and should get resolved by reinstallation. Did not happen. Then the changed the RAM chip. Still the issue did not get resolved. Thrice I have installed the OS with all the drivers. Took back up, retransferred the data, etc. - 3 full days wasted but I still face the problem. The Tech Support asks me to install the OS again. It's a trial and error method. I searched online and found that it can be a possible hardware issue relatin gto RAM? hard disk/ DVD ROM/ Fan anything but these guys have no clue. Never gonna buy a Dell system again. Was this information helpful? | |

5 weeks old hours on phone to help line dead hard drive 8 phone call to dell ducked shoved no help god help dell if this happens again i will be outside the shop with the biggest banner will never buy dell again

We bought one Dell laptop from Next shop and after 20 days of purchase we got some error in starting up... somehow we mange to contact dell technical support guy over phone and he said that you need to reinstall the windows. We tried to re install windows but could not succeed and some error occur and then we came to knwo thru some tech person that hard drive of our laptop is got crashed since than (5 - 6days) we are trying to contact dell tech support representative but not able to speak to them as they always put us on hold (more that 30 min). BUYING A DELL LAPTOP IS A BIG PAIN OF LIFE SO NEVER GO FOR IT... THEY ARE MAKING INOCENT PEOPLE FULL BY TELLING THAT WE PROVIDE ON SIGHT SERVISE BUT ONSIGHT SERVICE CAN BE PROVIDE IF THEY ATLEAST SPEAK TO CUSTOMER...
