[Resolved]  Dell India — Mis-selling of laptop

Dear Team,

Request support on captioned complaint as I have purchase new laptop from Croma Ghaziabad (Pacific Mall) on 16th October 2022. However, your Windows and Office both were activated before the purchase date. Concern points below mention.

1. During purchase it has been told that only some scratches are in laptop body rest everything you will get as new one.
2. Post purchase of 3 days I came to know that office is not activated then visited to nearest Croma store at Kamla Nagar (Emp Name - Bejender Gaurd – [protected] ).
3. Kamla nagar customer support team has call to Ghaziabad Croma store for the same issue to Mr Chandan ( Employee Code – CMT DELL ) and Jai Shukla ( Emp Code – 23858 )
4. Jai Shukla has given the statement over the call that in this particular model Microsoft not providing the inbuild MS office post this I again google to confirm the feature for this model.
5. I took back the laptop from Kamla nagar Croma Branch post 7 days and started following up with Microsoft team, then I got to know that its MS office key had been already redreamed before the date of purchase.
6. Today on date 3/2/2023 i again visited to Ghaziabad Croma Store to resolve the issue ( this is 50 KM away from my residence ) met with Mr Raghav-28199 but did not get any satisfactory resolution on the issue ( he also told me that these display laptop are used one but do not have outlook ID to get the MS Office activated then I told him that why this think not been told during the purchase of this system. I would have not purchased this device as I am a bank employee and without MS office its no use for me.
7. For resolution I am requesting to team please arrange the old outlook id or get this MS office activated else I want to replace back this laptop.

For your reference I am enclosing the Microsoft team mail as well where its clearly mentioned that MS office is already activated before the date of purchase.
