Dell — Hard disk space reducing | |
I have got a Dell Inspiron in the last week of June. The Hard Disk (C drive) space decreases automatically even when no extra stuff is added to it. It reduces at a rate of approximately 1 GB per two days. Today 2 GB got reduced directly. The C drive externally is showing 217 GB free of 283 GB i.e 66 GBs consumed. But if I open it and select all the folders the sum totals only 28.5 GB. I am unable to understand why the space is getting consumed automatically. my prob. also same as above. I purchased 23rd Feb-2010 on Dell 1545-INS-0044-BLK and when i checked the harddrive capacity, its showing 283GB only instead of 320GB
