DELL — Trouble with warranty
Purchased dell LCD monitor 19" from local vendor. Dell provides 3 years of warranty on this product. When I contacted vendor with complaint he said Dell provides onsite support, call dell toll free number. I tried Dell customer support, they asked for Order number. I gave order number which appears on the box. The reply from dell was this order number does not exist and we cannot provide service. Any pointer? what I should do now. As you reported that there is a Hardware Issue, I would appreciate you if follow the provided steps and you will get the some error so that we can diagnose the problem & proceed further to fix this issue ASAP.
Follow the instructions below to run hardware diagnostics
1. Press F12 on the dell logo while powering on the system.
2. Complete all the diagnostics and make a note of error codes if any
If possible please provide me your system service tag so that I can check your order details and give you the correct information & some settings which needs to be changed
And you can find the service tag
**on the bottom of the laptop on the white sticker
**it’s a seven digit alphanumeric code which ends with BS or number 1.
If in case you do face any challenges in the process, please feel free to contact me directly by sending me a reply to this blog or through an email

Dell Laptop — service/repair
I purchased my Laptop in USA, but when i came to india , it has got some problem, the warranty was valid but still dell india charged me for engineers visit, it is really injustice with customer.
