Greetings sir,
I purchased a dell XCD-35 handset, invoice dated 28/10/2011. After a few days, i started encountering problem of voice cracking.
on 29/12/2011, i took the handset to the authorized dell service center. they confirmed me that the handset did have a voice cracking issue due to a hardware problem.
The center lodged a request for a replacement on the same day and asking me to come 15 days later to collect the same.
when i approached them after 15 days, they said the handset did not arrive and since then they have been dilly delaying me about the replacement.
Now when ever i call them to ask about my replacement they say that the handset is in transit since last 15 days.
when i asked the call attendant not to force me to drag the company to the consumer courts, she went on to the limit to say that i could do that anytime.
its like they have no regards for consumer courts and rights in India.
When ever i try calling the dell costumer care number[protected], my call would get connected, put on wait for 15-20 minutes and then would be automatically disconnected implying hefty amounts to my cellphone bills.
Till this date i haven't received my handset and i am being harassed on account of paying various visits to the center and also on call charges being accumulated to me.
I'd appreciate your sincere effort if you would be able to help me.
