Dell Mobiles — False service claims & cheating/fraud

I had bought Dell XCD35 smartphone from Flipkart.com on 28/4/2011. It came with android2.1. So I got it upgraded at dell service centre at Kanpur to android 2.2. But even after this upgrade flash player was not working. So I re-brought the handset at the service centre where Mr. Rishi (in-charge of service centre) could not fix it but instead asked me to submit the phone so that he could send it to Dell Service at Bangalore from where he said I would get a new replacement in 2 weeks time. He assured me that the firmware update that is missing will be corrected and I will get new handset with android2.2. So I submitted it with him on 25/6/2011 against complaint id: 8245.
At 2 weeks he didnt call me or tell me whether my relacement is ready or not. So I had to call him and then he told me that my replacement has already arrived and I can pick it up.
On reaching the service centre, he showed me the replacement set which had abrasions, chrome lining was scratched and looked a very old set as compared to my set which was totally new, hardly 1.5 months old, without any scratches or abrasions. Also it was android 2.1 and Mr. Rishi told me that for some reasons he wasn't able to upgrade it to android 2.2
This clearly showed that my problem was not solved at all as probably any phone supporting flash should have come with android 2.2
I refused to accept the set. They promised me to give me a new sealed set. What followed was my nemesis. The Dell authorities were least instead in solving my issues. I had to repeatedly call them (even their In-charge at Bangalore) to atleast return my set even if the problem wasnt solved. More than a month after I finally received my handset (replaced) which was android 2.1. The flash support is still not working even after upgrading to android 2.2. This goes to show that Dell is only be fooling new customers by taking their new phones and replacing them with refurbished sets. They even took my original battery as a condition for exchange with supposedly new set which was not as the set I received had its seal broken. Also there is some dust mark on its internal screen. When I asked how to remove that mark the local service incharge, Mr Rishi, said that he will have to resend it to Bangalore and no commitment regarding when it will come back...

Dell Mobile is totally befooling people by making false service claims. They cant explain to me that why they took my set, kept it with themselves for more than 1 month, and replace it with a refurbished set without the problem solved. If the problem was not to be solved then why did they take the set?

DELL — about charger

my charger was in warrenty..It contains problem of charging..So i had contact dell service center,ahmedabad..but they provide me duplicate charger of laptop............

Dell Mobiles — Inferior Product & Support Offered by Dell Mobile Phones

I bought a Dell XCD28 mobile phone in April 2011 in Mumbai giving into much hyped launch in Nov 2010 by Dell India. This phone used to restart during conversations to which the company offered a replacement in the month of May 2011. The replaced handset however continued to give same problem and I had to return it for a second replacement in June 2011. To my horror, the company has stopped production of this particular handset model and today after 2 months of wait i still havent received a replacement from the company. My constant follow-ups with the service center has been in vain as they revert with a standard reply stating that there's no response from the technical division based out of Gurgaon.

Dell Mobiles — Charger lying at service station

I have a dell xcd35 and the charger is lying at service centre for repair, its been 2 months and I am not expecting it for another month, they dont have any answer for the same , All my warranty period is exhausted, it was with them for 2 months once before aswell, this is the second time I am facing the same problem, Plz help..........., Plz contact me [protected]
