I purchased a laptop from one of the dell authorised dealer in NOIDA. After one week of purchase it started giving burning smell. i loadged a complain to their call centra as the authorised Dealer washed his hands and advised to directly deal with Dell. after loadging complain dell engineer came and replaced mother bord and motor fan. But the problem did not go. Then I was advised to go to service centre. They also could not do any thing. Then I contacted Dell centre thru call centre and requested for replacement of laptop as the unit supplied was defective. They advised on telephone that unit will be deluivered within one month time. But they didnot give any status even after two weeks. Again I cantacted their call centre. every time to call there they will transfer call to 4-5 persons and you have to explain everything to all of them. Finally nothing will happen. I have been talking to them almost every alternate day , but every time sme new person will come and assure that replacement will be done within one or two weeks. They will never reply to our mail only talk on telephone. even they will not connect to their top people. Surprisingly they don not answer by mail and I have daught that Dell have any internal system to handle customer comp[lain by top people. it is always left to the call centrer junior persons who donot reply anythig else than assuring you.
