[Resolved]  Dt Cinema Star Mall — Pushing large sized products

Address:Haryana

I went to see the movie Gol mal 3 on 21.11.10, during break i went to buy snacks from their snacks bar. i ordered for 2 coffees (Rs 100) One large combo(120) and one small nachos(65), the staff asked for Rs 310, which i paid.
After a while i realised that something is wrong, and went back, the staff told me that they have given me a large nacho's instead of small, I asked him why, he told me its out of stock.

Now, how can small nacho's be out of stock, its not a pre packed food, !! its something u put in a tray and serve, if they are out of small tray's they should ask the customer before assuming that the customer is ok to be given large portion without taking his permission to do so.

I asked for a complaint book, which they did not have, i asked for the manager, he chose not to meet me, and sent another staff instead.

let them continue to cheat people, there fall will come. there will soon be a new player who will give a good service at a decent price and teach the DT and PVR's of this world a good lesson.

God bless

I also had a very harrowing experience at the DLF Star Mall in sec 30, Gurgaon. We went for the 10.50 pm show on 03rd of June 2011, in the DT cinemas and while coming out of the parking after the show, the parking guy asked me for Rs. 40/- as they were manually managing and letting the cars go without scanning the parking ticket, on inquiring the reason for so much of the parking fees, this guy told me very rudely to go and get the receipt, and when i moved a bit ahead, i cud hear the same guy shouting to another guy to take Rs. 30/- from me and give receipt, i was really furious to hear this, and when i demanded why was i asked for higher amount then owed, this new guy started talking very rudely to me. i then refused to pay the charges and demanded to see a supervisor or a manager, meanwhile a third person came and was rude than everyone else and started using abusive and language, and he even had the audacity to call me a BEGGAR and told me to get lost before they teach me a lesson. i was with my whole family and my young son, I was very angry but could not retaliate because of ladies being with me. i don't know to whom the management of DLF has given the contract of the Parking in this mall, but it is actually a disgrace and disrespect to DLF name. i mean we want to feel secure and not threatened that is why we go to late night show. I am not sure whether reading this, you guys would take any action or not, but trust you me, You have lost one permanent customer for good. and i reckon that probably wont make much difference to you guys as only 1 customer is lost but a customer lost is earning lost. I hope that you people would take some strict action against those guys ( I don't know there names, of course as they would not give it, but there were 4 guys in the late night shift, which i am sure you would be able to pick the name by seeing their roster). I can also assure one more thing, if in case i have a similar incident in any of your malls, i would actually escalate the matter to the DLF senior management.

Hope to hear from you guys very soon to resolve this issue.

Regards
To be honest, i doubt if DLF cares, this was probably the parking contractor, but DLF gives people enough reason to complaint, and still gets away with it...only competetion can check their near monopoly in many services they provide... perhaps we should avoid these fancy multiplex's and look for single screen cinema's...yes the crowd may not be polished, but then you expect little from that place, and i bet the parking is still Rs 10 there...ashish
p.s. you did the wise thing, its not worth getting into a showdown with the attendant with family, or even when you are alone or with friends...its just not worth it.
