[Resolved] Dtdc Courier — NON DELIVERY OF PUJA SAREE TO THE CONSIGNEE AS IT WAS FULLY DAMAGED AND BACK TO THE CONSIGNOR SHOWING REASONS THAT ADDRESS WAS NOT FOUND

DEAR SIR,

I have opted for the service of DTDC courier for delivery of one costly saree to Agartala. As the item was costly I had chosen DTDC because it was well reputed courier service in India and they charged Rs 150/- which was above par compare to the other courier company. My consignment note no is K43569126. But with my utter dismay the courier returned the same after expiry of 13 days and the saree was totally damaged and probably eaten by rats. They had shown the reasons that the address of the consignee was not found which was blatant lie and to supress thier misdeeds. please look into the matter so that the big company like DTDC cannot shrugg of their responsibility. I want justice from your accredited organisation.

TILL NOW WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PARCEL

ON CONTINUOUS FOLLOWUPS WITH THE VARIOUS OFFICES OF PROFESSIONAL COURIERS IT IS INFORMED THAT IT CANNOT BE DELIVERED;

STATUS SHOWING THAT IT IS ON TRANSIT;

BUT ONE MANAGER MR.BASKAR (MOBILE#[protected] IS TELLING THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED AND IT IS LOST; THEIR FINAL CONCLUSION IS THEY CANNOT DELIVER;

THIS HAS TO BE TAKEN VERY SERIOUS AND PLEASE RESPOND TO US.

I feel they must change the name as unprofessinal couriers, I keep getting my parcels through them from Chennai and salem, but they deliver from 3 to 5 days, wher as they promise in 24 hours, must unreliable courier.

SAREES — lost by post office

i latha suresh sent parcel thru post office weighing 9230gms on the 21/10/10,it contained 22sarees being sent to my relatives in tirucharapalli,the parcel reached the destination with only 7 sarees in it,when engiured with post master at noida sector -19 he didnt take ownership inturn informed me to contact the destination post office at tirucharapalli, when contaced the tirucharapalli post master , the post master simply said it is given to you as it reached us, didnt take any ownership

i am not agree with the above written comment, DTDC is one of the best in-fact not one of the it is the best courier company in India. Who has been suffered from misplaced parcel/ consignment / or any other good not delivered not in time, they did not give proper address or insufficient address information. The person can easily go to the destination place, but it is very difficult for the courier boy to go such place easily. So the customers please provide the details information regarding destination place and so that they will not suffer from any wrong or failed service.
