Hi,
I was traveling from London to Delhi on 15th August 2009. I was along with my wife who is 7 months pregnant. We boarded into flight at 4:00 PM and Flight was scheduled to depart at 5 Pm which eventually took off at 6 PM. After 7:30 PM the first meal came in. And approx at 8:15 when Dinner was served after a long wait, to our utter surprise we were being told a steward that there are no Veg food available in the Flight in spite of making sure at the time of booking of the flight. Now because of being strict vegetarian both o[censored]s were not in position to have anything, I was able to manage but asking my pregnant wife to manage without food for the 10 hours was too much of the asking. Though one of the female airhostess bought one beg food packet from somewhere ( though it was claimed that there is no packet available) it was beyond condition of consuming as it was a used one. On the top of it when I asked the same steward " Mr. Dan" if I can have some biscuits for my wife he said there are none in the flight which is highly unrealistic. The last nail in coffin was when we were leaving the flight the same guy gave us a sarcastic smile and should be the fingure to leave. . I could see a racial discrimination element in his smile as well. I am a frequent flyer and a member of many airlines program however I have never came across such an instance. This was highly unprofessional, inhuman & disgusting act on the behalf of the airlines to treat a customer who is also a pregnant woman like this.
When I tried to search the customer feedback section on the website there is none available.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the fact that an airlines like Emirates can be so anti-customer centric.
