[Resolved]  Exide Battery — warranty

i purchased 2 72/24 batteries in jan to june of 2006. i took them to warroad co-op, they tested them & said they wre bad. i ask to warranty them, they said i needed a reciept, which i didn't have on file. i thought i bought them there but they had no reciept on file. later found out i bought them from sams club or wallmart or maybe k- mart or mills fleet farm. i ask them to do what they could and put it on acct. recieved the bill today on 6/6/08 they did nothing on warranty!
also could'nt find exide's warranty dept. or a phone # for customer service?

Exide Battery IT 500 — Battery Replacement under warranty period

My Exide Battery IT 500 is not giving backup it is discharge in ony 45 minutes. when battery is giving ti service center it not either servicing not replacement. Servive center is not giving any response, he charge the battery only.

EXIDE provide one of the worst service. Even their batteries are not good and they don't listen to customer after selling the money. they are just making money after setting fake batteries.
Sir, i have purchased the exide xpress batery before three months. the battery is given only 1 hour of back up. the serial No. of the battery is SL50429249. Kindly authenticate the serial number that the battery is original or not.
i have used regular invertor batteries. for our knowledge i want to know if warrenty card misplaced how can i claim at the time of failure of warrenty

Hello exide battery service is not available
I bought 4 numbers of EXIDE ELECTRICA batteries on 21st May 2012 and was using it in my YO Bike. I found the batteries are deformed within the warranty period 6 months. However the dealer M/S Pal Auto Electricals, Bhubaneswar delayed the process to book a complain and asked me to bring the e bike on sunday. Then he asked to bring the charger and finally now he says that it has happened due to over charging and no service can be given for this.
Should I go to consumer forum or there is any other solution available for this.

sir this is from kalpataru institute of technology tiptur we purchased 128 number of batteries for our 40kva two apc ups .since the connection of these smf batteries we are not getting proper backup from these two system we bought this to the notice of mr arun over phone .he deputed a technician he inspected and given the report to change the batteries but there is no proper response till today so kindly change the batteries at the earliest

I got number of Amit Gautam - [protected] but he is not able to provide me status. He promised to replace the battery on 06/06/2014 and will provide my parchased one back in next 1 week but no action has been taken till now. No one is picking our phones now because they are not able to deal with the customers at all.

I am staying at Vishnu Garden, Subhash nager, New delhi which is only 5 Km apart from Exide Industries ltd, C188, Mayapuri, Industrial Area Phase - II.

I request you to kindly look in the matter and instruct your dealer to replace or repair my battery immediately with any delay or you send me your concern staff / technical person to repair the battery.


or provide me other alternative if such service will be provided by Exide (No. 1 battery of India)

my dealer is not giving me warrenty card of exide battery purchased today please guide he told us the same is not given by company, i am in transferable job thus required the same.

One Battery was sent to you ( to your authorised dealer : Ganesh Agency, Sambalpur, Odisha ) from Akash Motor, Bargarh (Odisha) which was
returned back on st.31.07.2014 giving the reason that the batterystore period is above 3 month.

In your warranty card it has been clearly written that the warranty period is 18 month from the date of purchase or 20000 Kms or 21 months from the date of charging. It is surprising how the stock period is above 3 months while it is purchased on dt.29.04.2013.

I purchased a battery from a Exide Dealer, Calcutta 700014, I got a bill but I was not given a warranty card and i was told that its not required only the bill is required. I am having doubt about the statement of the dealer.
I have purchased Exide mileage battery on 9/2/2017 it's been 1 and half year now but still under warranty claim(18months for free replacement)...my local dealer in Bangalore said stock is not available and not providing me any battery since one week now after submitting my documents to them. Should I wait till stock comes or it will be like no response from stocks as date is coming closer to 18months... kindly suggest me what to do in such case.
