Dear sir/madam,
This is to inform you and we need the feed back from the company about the relationship with the costumer.
We are in the situation where we really need the fair decision from the company.
We have purchase the battery from Sethi trader’s 35/16 old rajendra nagar, main shanker road New Delhi.
Purchase detail.

This battery we have purchase for inverter use.

In the starting of summer (month February) our inverter start creating problem, battery low indicator was flashing on the panel and back up was almost nil.
Then we have inform to Mr. Sethi (owner of the company), because both inverter and battery sold by them. Then he send his technician and he said this problem occur because of inverter and we have to call the inverter guy, then the inverter person came ( from luminous ) and changed the charging plate, we checked for about 20 days but that problem was still there, again we call Mr.sethi and inform about this matter. Then again he send the luminous person and he replace the same plate and advice to check for 10 to 15 days, But we are in the same situation, now actually the problem is there in the battery, one cell out of six weak. We have to change the battery. But in the whole process we have lost almost 4 months. Where the actual warranty of the battery is finished. Today I have call to your jhandewalan ( new delhi ) office and speak to Mr. and explain the hole issue but he said he can’t do anything because warranty is finish. We being going back and forth from last 4 months and not finding any solution. We really need your support where we are not actually responsible for what is happening but penalize. we are requesting you to pls give solution.
Because we have long relation with exide we really trust the name.

I had purchased a two wheeler with installed Exide battery on[protected] unfortunately in Oct. the battery failed on what technical grounds really I don't know but the dealer repalced it on[protected] again on[protected] i went for the serviceing of the replaced battery & was asked to get the other equipments checked at the vehicle vedor after having throughly checked all the parts vendor told me the battery is not charging so again on[protected] i went to exide dealer and asked for the problem they told me that they can not help me since the battery was a replacement but how i can believe that the replaced battery was a brand new . At this juncture i feel i have been cheated by your dealer .
I hope company will do the needful & will help me out from this situation

I purchase a battery ( Max Exide ) from Sparkint Auto Agency Noida(Dealer code-21292, C-337 Sector 10 Noida) Battery No. CRN No. GHA/GHA/EX/08/01894 MF. Code -1AB on 1st March 08 for my inverter. The battery given to me was found defective while using. The same was taken by me to your service center . They checked it & confirm that it is defective & kept it for repair for one week from 21 May to 26 May wide challan no. GHA/GHA/08/734. After repair also it is not charging. I feel very imbrassed my hard & money Rs. 6800/= has gone waste without fault of mine.
It is requested that the defective battery may please be changed immidiatly.Eagerly waiting for your action please.

after 10 months battery give up less backup and I have complaint the mavasi lal jain in 23 July, 2008 and he is not giving me any satisfied answer.

Gowda I purchaseing Tow Exide IT 500 at 22-12-06 Sr No. 1J6 038786 and Other 13-12-06 Sr.No. 2W6 6478 This Batteries Join in Seriel at 24 Input to UPS But after 2 month I recognise the backup of your battery not geetting proper I complent to Your Autorised Deler, They are check and seen one battery 1J6 038786 is Weak I have also gravity meter Other one is Ok But this is getting a problem, I complent to Shah Corportation Exid deler, They get and charging for 2 days after that the give me retur I join to UPS at 24 Volt After one week This condition comming down backup not geetting proper, After That I repet complent to Mr. Shah Then He ask to Contact Mr. Shukla (Pacific Marketing, Nashik ). This person say give the battery I will Give the battery at[protected] after perchasing 2 month they give back at 9-01-07 Voucher No 224 Now This battery Getting Problem This Battery Warranty in 30 month this complieted only 19 Month and This 19 months this is not work properly. What I do Now. Just Watch to Finsh Your Warranty or Geeting some legal action for that inconvient.

Also I notice that on your warranty Card First Write Sr No. & Batch No. Put Whitner on That After That This Again Write Sr. No. 1J6 038786 how I beleve this battery is legal and I am the First Who Cutomer this perchase the battery

We purchased one EXIDE XPRESS battery Type MHD 1500 Mfg Code 3B7 Sr. No 98709 on 27, 03.07 from M/S KIRAN ELECTRONICS, Bhatsalapara, M.N.K.Road at Rampurhat in the Dist of Birbhum-731224, WB.

The said battery has been giving treble for the last three months which was reported to M/s Kiran electronic, who recharged the battery several times during the last three months but the charge did not sustained more than one to two hours, lastly on 20.09.08 they took the battery along with the warranty card, for replacement by a new one as per condition but We have not yet taken any new battery returned .

This is for your information and taking necessary action.

    warranty

    i purchased 2 72/24 batteries in jan to june of 2006. i took them to warroad co-op, they tested them & said they wre bad. i ask to warranty them, they said i needed a reciept, which i didn't have on file. i thought i bought them there but they had no reciept on file. later found out i bought them from sams club or wallmart or maybe k- mart or mills fleet farm. i ask them to do what they could and put it on acct. recieved the...

    I purchased a Prestolite battery for my two wheeler on 24th April 2007, from an authorized Exide dealer in Chennai(LJD Battery, 183/149 GST Road Chromepet Chennai 44, Phone[protected]. He claimed that this battery would also perform better as Exide & hence I purchased. But in April 2008 I experienced some problem with the battery for which the dealer refilled & re-charged for me at a specific price. In May 2008, I experienced severe problem with the battery getting drained of charge. Hence the dealer said that he would get me a replacement, but came back telling that the warranty had expired & hence cannot be replaced. Exactly after a month's time after my warranty, the battery developed severe problems for which my warranty is not supporting. Prestolite website claims that its battery division is now taken over by Exide & hence to contact them for support. I'm unable to get any support from Exide also & I feel that my money is now wasted.

    i purchased a battery for my lancer diesel version car. from t.c.s trading co. located in huda main road, sector 11, huda, panipat-132103.ph:[protected]{shop}. mr. vikas tuteja.
    i am total unsatisfy from their services... today 3 march 2009. as i called him in morning he said i am coming within 15 mins and now its about 8 hrs passed there is no responce and finnally i have to take this step...i am calling him again and again but no response is there...
    so if this company can entertain my problem then i will be thankful to this company ...and request to change this delarship...and i think i would be better that you must change the delar..

    prestolite battery is just like a local hand made battery
    We have purchased some DG Sets for our telecom based cell sites in Rajasthan circle, Prestolite battery are being used in these Sets.But the batteries are not charging properly & one of the battery has not started even charging.Battery performance are very poor & not uptp the mark of a standard.

    Pls send the service center address in Jaipur for the servicing of batteries as all are lying in warrenty period.

    Prestolite battery bought along with inverter about 2 years back by me is in need of servicing and checking. I have difficulty in getting the service mechanic/engineer. I phoned the local service office of Prestolite (Chennai) on 8th Nov 2010 and given complaint No. 688. I was told that mechanic will be calling that day. None has turned up so far despite daily reminders. To top it, the mechanic calls me this morning and says he is coming and on the way and would reach before 12 noon. Despite further reminder to their service centre, none has turned up till now (6 40 pm)
    I have bought Prestoite battery with a warranty of 18 months but the dealer has refused to replace within 14 months as the dealer says the company has shut down and there are no staff to attend complaint.

    Dear Sir,
    Good Morning.Greetings to you.
    I am Mohan residing in chennai and working as legal Officer in one Microfinance company. I purchased a Prestolite Mega Cycle F-120 (12V-120AH) Inverter Battery on 13.03.2012, 8 months back, from One Mr.Baskar Mobilde No:[protected], who is dealing in Inverter and batteries in Ranipettai Town 200 kMS away from Chennai and is known to me for the past 10 years who in turn purchased the batteries from your dealer in Vellore Town. Because of long relationship with him, i have purchased from him instead of purchasing the same in chennai. Further, he recommended that this battery is very good in quality and recently introduced and long lasting and also available of 24 months warranty for free replacement for any default.

    The said battery was working well till september, 2012 and for the last2 months, when the electricity goes off, the battery was not started working. I informed Mr.Baskar about the defect and he advised me to plug off the wire from the power supply and requested him to attend the fault. he was attending the complaint 2 days back and informed me that the battery was bulged in the front portion where the adhesive sticker with name of the battery is fixed and it should be replaced by new battery by the company. Then he noted down the battery serial number and informed the dealer in vellore about the nature of complaint for replacement. Finally he informed me that the dealer will take up your grievances with the company and representative from the company will call you on phone and will replace the defective battery by placing a new battery.

    As you are fully aware the power cut in tamilnadu and the suffering of people and further i installed the battery because of new arrival to my family ( birth of my grand daughter).
    In order to know whether any complaint has already been registered by the dealer thro my seller Mr.Baskar as informed to us and if not so far, please request your good office to take up my grievances thro this mail and arrange to send your company representative in chennai to attend my complaint immediately without any delay because my battery was not in a working condition for the past 2 months and suffering a lot during power cut

      I have purchased Exide Battery from your dealer from

      After six months only, the battery started giving issues and when i finally talked to this dealer and

      asked him to replace the battery. He informed that he will forward the battery to the company and then

      will send us the new battery. Now we handed over the battery to him on 5th june and he promised to

      replace this battery by 11 June. Inspite of so many reminders and visits, he has a very callous attitude

      towards this request.Your authorised dealer is destroying your reputation.
      I am afraid if the battery is not replaced, i have no other option but to approach the consumer forum

      7.IN THIS MONTHS BILLING WE NOT GET WARRANTY CARDS IN BATTERY.
      8.WE NOT GET SERVISE BATTERY FOR CUSTOMER FROM LAST 3TO4 MONTHS.

      We purchased Two Nos Battery as on 13th Dec 2010 through your Authorised dealers INDIA MOTORS PARTS 49, N.M. Road Kolkata - 54, bearing Type No. MHD 1800 mfg Code 3K0 sr No of battery 15434 yesterday the battery was burst. I try to lodge the complain in these No. 22844564 / 70 and then 22843137 again I got another No. 22861859 / 1860 but no one respond, So Irequest you arrange to sent your representative to visit the site and take necessary action.
      That I have purchase the battery for my Pulsar motocyclde 0n 27/11/10 at Chandigarh & they have given me the Warranty card for 1 year,
      That i am presently resident at Banga, Nawanshahr.That from last one month my battery was not warking properly.That why i take my bike to tour Dealear in Banga (ANKIT AUTO SPARE PARTS) Who is a dealear of Exide battary, but he refuse to take the battery and use so much foul language and also say that I already have 70/80 battary of Exide with me in my shop and the dealing of the Exide company is very bad also when i told him that I will complaint against u to the Exide Batteries.The words he used That I cannot able to write in this Email.

      Is this type of Dealers u take for the sale o[censored]r product...

      If the same type of the behavour u give to your clients then no one will like to purchase the Exide Batteries.

      I have 4 vechiles on my name and in every vechile I have the battery of Exide, But now I will never take Exide battery & also sujesh every 1 not to take the same.

      ANKIT AUTO SPARE PARTS ur dealers says that even the owner of the Exide battery canot do any thing against me, even any 1 do the complaint against him

      Lets see what action u take against that person, another wise I will publish every thing in the Newspapers regarding the service given to the clients..when to sold there product and after that no action is taken on it...

          i buyed an exide battery on 25april2008. from bansal electronics from Devli road khanppur. The batery he gave was not charged and afetr so many request he is not listening to us.
          i have invared 500 battery .up till now it's performance was good but now inverter is not taking it to charge after mains come backas aresult of which it's back-up is very poor.once i charged it from outside charger then for 2 days performance was good, after that same rhing is going on inverter is not chargingg it.
          We have purchased 4 Nos. EXIDE Batteries for our Inverter in the
          year 2009.

          But now 2 batteries are not getting charged. We have purchased
          the same at Battery Point. Shimoga. Shall we get replacement
          from the Company.

This person say give the battery I will Give the battery at[protected] after perchasing 2 month they give back at 9-01-07 Voucher No 224 Now This battery Getting Problem This Battery Warranty in 30 month this complieted only 19 Month and This 19 months this is not work properly. What I do Now. Just Watch to Finsh Your Warranty or Geeting some legal action for that inconvient.

              I HAD PURCHASED AN INVERTER(SUKAM) CUM BATTERY(EXIDE) ON JUNE 2006, FROM STEEL HOUSE, HRIDYPUR, 24 PGNS (N).SINCE JULY 2007, THE SYSTEM DID NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. AS SUCH I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT WITH THE DEALER STEEL HOUSE. ENGINEER FOR THE INVERTER COMPANY (SUKAM), VISITED AND REPORTED A BATTERY PROBLEM. THE DEALER WAS INFORMED ACCORDINGLY. REPEATED REMINDERS REASULTED IN ANOTHER ENGINEER FROM SUKAM COMPANY AND AGAIN BATTERY PROBLEM WAS REPORTED. NO PERSON FROM THE BATTERY CO.(EXIDE) VISITED TO CHECK THE PRODUCT ALTHOUGH WITHIN WARRANTY PERIOD. IN DECEMBER 2007 THE WARRANTY LAPSED AND THE DEALER PLEADED HELPLESS NESS. I WAS UNDER THE NOTION THAT AS THE PRODUCT FAULT WAS REPORTED LONG BEFORE THE WARRANTY PERIOD LAPSED, THE COMPANY WOULD TAKE ACTIONS. I COULD NOT CONTACT THE EXIDE COMPANY DIRECTELY, BELIEVING THAT THE DEALER WOULD TAKE ACTION. BUT I WAS WRONGED. KINDLY ASSIST.

                Grievance Cell,

                We had been using Exide Battery (Inva Queen) for our inverter. It was replaced by New Battery on 07.06.2007 as got discharged within GUARANTEE PERIOD. It was replaced by your dealer Amit Sales, Basement (Hotel Surbhi) Naya Bazar, Gwalior (M.P.) on 07.06.2007 vide replacement No. 64282 and replacement charges paid Rs. 200/-. But the same is again discharged and not functioning. The dealer says that guarantee is lapsed . it is surprising that the new replaced Battery has functioned only for about 10 Months. If it is then what the use of giving guarantee on Batteries new replacing them.

                Appropriate action is anticipated.

                I, DEEPAK JAIN, ADVOCATE, PURCHSED 3 TUBERLAR BATTERY FROM M/S KHALSA TRADERS, MORADABAD, ONE YEAR BACK, BUT NOW ONE BY ONE ALL THREE BATERY ONE CELL GONE INVALID, I HAVE REPLASED 2 BATTERY AFTER VERY PAINFULL DEALING BY KHALSA TRADERS, IN 15-16 DAYS, HIS STAFF AND HIS BEHAVIOR TO MY STAFF AND TOWARDS MY SON IS VERY BAD, NOW THIRD BATTERY ALSO GONE INVALID DUE TO ONE CELL FAIL, 15 DAYS HAVE PASSED BUT HE IS NOT GIVING NEW BATTERY, AND AFTER ASKING FOR THAT HE IS SAYING U HAVE NOT PURCHASED ME, AND TAKING VERY BAD, AND TILL NOW I HAVE NOT RECIVED BATTERY,
                Why not to .proceed with complaint before consumer forum for providing poor service and poor quality product.?

                  I have purchased sukam invertor + exide battery from Manish Batteries, Sohna Road, Gurgaon. From the day one we were receiving the complaints and finally after continuos complaints our battery got replaced.
                  But second battery also started giving the same troubles after 3 months, and we have been complaining about it from feb 2008, but the guy never listens.

                  Please suggest
                  Could anyone tell me exide office number as i want to get my battery serviced.I live in india, haryana, faridabad.

                      have purchased a EXIDE FREEDOM-Din74 battery in the moth of sept-06 in coimbatore, for my Skoda Octavia at Electro India showroom. at the time of sale i was told the exide freedom battery holds a free warranty reoplacement for 2 years and additional 12 months under certain condition. Now i have one cell to be damaged and the battery needs to be replaced, when i contacted the showroom people they say only the bttery sold after 2007 holds a warranty of 3 years and the earlier case holds only a warranty of 1 year. during the time of purchase i didnt notice the warnty booklet given to me. now i came to know that the booklet issued to me was not a Exide freedom battery book. but the given warranty book holds all my purchase and battery barcoding details same to my battery.
                      i just want you to kindly intimate wheather the EXIDE FREEDOM DIN-74 battery sold in 2006 holds 12 months or 24 months warranty replacement

                        I have purchased Exide freedom of 12 MX 2.5 LC with guarntee card No. 138063 on 2nd february 2008 from Jalal Auto electric, B, Jalal Building, Shivaji Chowk Kalyan(west)for my Hero Honda splendor bike. Since I have purchased, the battery voltage goes down below 9 within 15-20 days. The dealer has tested and charged it three times since I have purchased. The dealer says it is working but unable to explain why it goes down every 15-20 days. I am unable to manage in heavy traffic as the horn and side beeper does not work due to battery failure. Please arrange to replace the battery under warranty. It will increase my faith in yours product.

                          we have purchased two batteries of exide company, max make from from their exclusive authorised showroom G-25 savitri market Sec- 18 Noida on[protected] for our inverter. these batteries were not working properly since february 2008. after so many phone calls to dealer . they take out our batteries and give us job no 17906 and 17907 dated 20-3-08 and phone no[protected] manoj)

                          they have not replaced our batteries till date . due to which we have a huge inconvenience in summer
                          I have purchased a new Herohonda splendor+(AP04 M 5273) in September.I've been facing problems since my purchase.The back wheel was not in a good condition(manufacturing defect).We were given a letter by Herohonda company for exchange of a new wheel from Dunlop tyres.I went and got that exchanged.
                          Then, i noticed that my battery(manufacturer : Exide) was not in a good condition.As we have a one year warranty for that, we were again given a letter for replacement of a new battery.But there has been utter worst response from this Exide service showroom.Even though the battery was not in a good condition, they checked it for 2 days and returned the same old battery saying that it had no problem.Again, Herohonda showroom checked it for a week and confirmed that battery was not in a good condition and returned our bike alongwith a letter.Again, we have taken that letter to that exide showroom.But still that fellows are NOT responding properly.

                          First of all for your kind information New Delhi Motor House at Ajit Arcade is NOT AT ALL AN AUTHORISED DEALER FOR EXIDE BATTERIES. The Only Authorised Dealer in that market is M/s. POPULAR MOTOR AGENCIES.

                          As about your complaint you can contact Exide directly at 41709967 and tell about your complaint. Though whatever you are telling is a regular practice at this outlet of New Delhi Motor House.

                          Consumers please beware and dont get trapped just because you are getting the battery slightly cheaper from him. Buy from Authorised Dealer Popular Motor Agencies

                          They are all the same. I purchased an Exide battery from the authorised dealer Popular Motor Agencies in the same market for my Scorpio last year. The batter has gone dead within the warranty period. I have been chasing for it to be examined and corrected, and am repeatedly given promises of the time by which someone will come, and nobody appears. Having wasted my working day for the service guy, I have now been told that the agency has service person, but no conveyance, so I should go to them or should complain to Exide. Do I carry my scorpio to their shop? Why promise prompt service from their own outlet at the time of making a sale, when on the day I need the service they act like this?

                            Hi,

                            I bought Luminious Invertor/UPS with Exide battery, Within a year exide battery has given the problem. When i reported to my dealer he promised me to get it changed that means a new battery will be provided to me but the outer cover would be old. I agreed on this. After approx 10-15 days when i recieved my replaced battery it didn't gave me backup for more than 10-15 days. Then i again complaint to my dealer and he checked it out and told me some cells are not working.

                            I am surprised how is this possible, If this was a new battery then how these cells stopped functioning. I am doubting either my dealer has played a game he has provided me an old battery or Exide company has cheated me and given me old battery.

                            I really don't know where to go now to resolve this issue.

                            Can you please help me to resolve this issue.

                            Exide UPS Battery — battery not working

                            My UPS battery which is buy on this date[protected] which have one year warranty and buy from N.S.gift corner address-G-6/92, Deepali building ,Nehru Place ,New Delhi-19.
                            This battery is not be charged properply and work properly but shopkeeper does not repair or replace this battery.

                              We compliant to M/s Quality auto Electric Co. on 11 dec 2007 about our battery problem.they send thier battery Technician for checking the batteries and He declare that both the batteries are BULGE.

                              But till now Our batteries have not been replaced.

                              So you are requested to replace our both battaries under warrenty as early as possible to avoid any serious accident.

                                I am in staying in Delhi having a TVS Apache with me DL 7S AG-6152, before one month my battery not take charging it cell was lost I think. I found one shop at khanpur ,delhi. the shopkeeper suggest me to buy a new battery I am working in a private company not have enough fund to survive in delhi I am a outsider i am from MP I am here to make my carrer, he suggest me to buy a new battery from Exide he said it's under warranty anytime within 1 yrs you replace it if face any problem I went to that place but the shopkeeper said he won't replace it .
                                please help me out, I don't know why the guy is not replcing my battery if it's under warranty. he used abusive language as well.

                                Exide battery-5LV under warranty period but the shopkeeper is not replacing the battery.
                                have given complaints but no response.
                                The basic problem is it is discharging quickly because even if it is charged to full it is not able to give a good response to electric start in my discover DTS-i. I have purchesed it from Sambalpur, Orissa.
                                Please kindly look into this matter.

                                I am in staying in Delhi having a Pulsar 180c with me DL 3SBT 4413 dated 17.3.2010, now my battery is not taking charging due to this im not able to self start my bike. I have purchased this bike from Deewan Bajaj, Lajpat Nagar, but they are not willing to resolve this problem, as per their statment they are asking to take the bike to worshop and get it checked.vice station. and I am not getting the proper treatment there. Now as you know there is no kick in Pulsar 180c. Now please suggest the right direction to get quick treatment as soon as possible.

                                Guys best suggestion is never go for Exide batteries, always go for Amaron Batteries with which you will never face any issues. Amaron non maintenance batteries are amazing.. even i had a very bad experience with Exide batteries but never with Amaron Batteries.
