[Resolved] Fedex Courier — Non-delivery of package/damaged package | |||
I had an important shipment to be sent from Pune to my hometown Kolkata. There is a collection agent(Esdee services) who comes to office our and who claims to have tie-up with FedEx. Previously I had sent couriers through him but they had tie-up with some other company and not FedEx. I sent an overnight shipment through them on 22nd April. Obtained the FedEx receipt which clearly shows the right address to which it was to be delivered. The delivery was not done till 25th April. When I checked on their website on 23rd, it showed (Delivery Exception due to incorrect address). I called up their customer service both in Pune and Kolkata and again gave the address with the recipient's phone number and land-line number and prominent landmark. On 24th April they called the recipient saying that it was raining so they couldn't deliver. However, they updated the status on their website saying delivery exception due to incorrect address. When I called FedEx toll free number, to my horror they completely refused any update and said I have to ask the collection agent about the delivery as I have not handed it over to FedEx directly. The agent who comes to our office says it's FedEx's responsibility and not theirs. Finally on 25th April I had to ask the recipient to go to their Kolkata office and pick-up the shipment on his own. The package was torn from bottom and some important stuff was missing. If you trace calls to their number[protected] at 19:10 pm and 20:10 pm on 24th April you would understand how rude their customer service is. This is complete fraud and harassment to customer. Fedex Couriers — Package delivered to the wrong address
It is sad to know that a courier company like FEDEX could do this. I had placed an order through Zoomin and they had couriered this package on 21st Sept. While tracking online it mentioned that the delivery would happen on 22nd Sept at 11:20 am. This was to reach at my home.To my surprise, the package reached a company and not my home in Marol and the delivery boy gave the package at the wrong place.
After making several calls since last night, the customer service representatives are unable to trace the details of the company where my package was delivered. This is so frustrating and miserable on Fedex's part.
I must say that big companies like these have a long way to go to provide good customer service. Pathetic courier company!!!
