[Resolved] Ferns N Petals — Gift not delivered and fake promises made by customer care | |||
Complaint against Ferns n petals I placed a Rs.1699 order "Fill my heart" order no "[protected]" on 14th feb'11 and was supposed to be delivered on same date and couldn't be done because recipient was not present. 1) On 15th Feb'11 I called their customer care and they told me that "their vendor is not picking up the phone so they cannot do anything now." 2) On 16th Feb'11 I called their customer care and then they told me that "it was received by guard and they have the receipt signed by him and that they will show me" whereas the guard says he didn't received anything. 3) On 17th Feb'11 I called their customer care again and they told me that same product will be delivered with the price of Rs.75 for delivery charges and later he told me that even Rs.75 is not required to pay and the same product will be delivered at the same address. 4) On 18th Feb'11 I called their C.C. again around 2pm and some 1 by the name of "Ankur" told me that i will receive a call from them within 10 minutes and even after waiting for 2-3 hours no 1 calls. 5)On 18th Feb'11 I called their C.C. again some 1 by the name of "Manish" around 5pm told me that money cannot be refunded and the vendor cannot deliver the same product again but a complimentary "12Rose Bunch" will be sent at same address. 6) On 19th Feb'11(today) i called their CC again around 3pm and they tell me that nothing cannot be delivered as vendor don't agree. Ferns and Petals Customer care representatives have been making fake promises to me from so many days and the product is finally not delivered. I placed an order on 12 feburary 2013, order on[protected]. Its not delivered. I tried to reach customer care mobile no, but its always busy. Absolutely no response for the email communication from support team.
If the delivery could not managed, then new orders should be stopped from booking. Simply accepting the order and not delivering is horrifying.
I would like to escalate this behavior through other forums and everyone have to be aware of their service and should not loose money.

1) I had mentioned during the time of order placement to deliver the item either before 11 am in the morning of 14th feb or after 6 pm in the evening. Instead, they delivered the item at the shipment address at 11:45 am without making any proprietary phone calls to ascertain of the client's availability. In spite of the promise of premium delivery, they chose to deliver the item to the security people at the shipment address. This is not what we expect when we avail such services, a courier service would have done a much better job at it. They normally call in advance and ascertain delivery at a time convenient for the customer.
2) The item I ordered was cuddly affair which as per your website mentioned a package of "Bunch of 12 Red Roses + 6 inch high teddy bear + 5 Cadbury's chocolates", but instead what was received was a "Bunch of 11 Red Roses +6 inch high teddy bear+ 3 Cadbury's chocolates". In short the delivery was short of what was promised.
the highlight of the event is that once I complained about the poor service, FnP came back with an apology letter as quoted below
"
Kindly accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.
In an attempt to compensate for the damage caused, we will be re-delivering a complementary bouquet and the remaining 2 chocolates.

and since then neither have I heard from them nor have any compensatory measures been taken up as promised. This was my first experience with FnP and my last one at it as well. but, more importantly I want to warn future customers of the abysmal quality of service being offered, where commitments are ignored with wanton disregard.
