[Resolved] Ford Ikon 1.3 Petrol — fuel guage not working

sir two months ago my fuel guage of ford ikon 1.3 petrol not woking i went to bhagat ford jalandhar dealer of ford india, they said you have to replace your fuel pump worth rupees 9000. sir i got change my fuel pump from bhagat ford but my fuel guage is still not working since i got replaced my fuel pump bhagat ford says its ' ford india ' problem because there fuel pump design is not appropriate or proper sir i sent many mails to ford india as well as talking to bhagat ford jalandhar as well but they don't give me any relevant answer it almost two months since i driving my car without fuel guage even spending 10, 000 bucks on it please help me out Was this information helpful? Ford India — fuel meter problem

When the fuel tank is filled up to full capacity, the fuel meter is not showing so and not working properly. Repaired for more than 10 times at your workshop and even the related cluster and then the float has been replaced. But the problem is persisting . could I get a permanent solution for this problem?

Yes this is a similar problem I am facing to, though I have not brought it up with the service station. Will be doing so as service is due this week end. It gets very confusing and on two occassions I was about to take it up with the fule station staff thinking they are cheating while filling fule. But did not take it up with them as the needle / indicator on the meter shows full. Now that I read that others have are facing the same problem I will take it up with the service delaer hoping that my problem will be resolved.
