Good Morning Michael –

Though I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience as a customer with Ford India. However, in this last five years of my association with Ford India and it’s agency/service provider “Harpreet Ford” I see a tremendous down fall in the area of imperatives for “Value of customer satisfaction and commitment” towards the Service delivery (ESPECIALLY the negative practices has been seen in the last year or so).

Just to quote the recent issue of October 3’ 2009 date that I have faced with Harpreet Ford – Motinagar, New Delhi, when given my vehicle (Ford Ikon- Reg # : DL 4CR 7124) for servicing at their Workshop. The car was kept at the Body shop/Workshop for almost 10 days to carry out the most body and complete service job. And as against I have been charged approx Rs. 36000.00 for the work they have done.

I’m happy with the body shop work that has been carried out of my car. However, the service job was absolutely unjustified and pathetic for the value and assurance promised to us for the quality of job work that has been undertaken by Harpreet Ford workshop team. There was high degree of negligence and ignorance shown by the team in handling the job that has been specified by us while they prepared the job card over the phone. It is expected that the Workshop engineer and supervisor are qualified/skilled enough to identify the actual condition of the vehicle while the service job has been carried out. Also, they should brought to customer notice in case of any need for part replacement and should ensure all mechanical parts are in right condition before the vehicle was released from workshop and handed over to the customer (me). Unfortunately this was not the case here, and exactly the second day the FAN Belt came out and fan pump/rings got broken while I was driving on the road on Saturday-10/10 during the night hour. All I want to bring to your notice that wear and tear of any parts do not occur in a single day and such break down or possible accidental incidents can be avoided if the service engineers/staff at the workshop would handle the jobs carefully and efficiently.

With this regard I and my husband (Pinaky Purkayastha) called Mr. N.K. Bhatnagar (Workshop Service Manager) on Sunday -10/11, morning to register a complaint about this issue. In his response the gentleman was very reluctant to listen and accept the fact that there was a slip by his team in the servicing of the car, which was resulted a major breakdown of the car within two days of driving after it got service a week ago. Above all the most unfortunate thing was the comment passed by Mr. Bhatnagar being a senior official of workshop. He said that it is not his responsibility if the car happens to be brake down or met with an accident due to any mechanical fault after it has been handed over to customer (me). After we made a several request, he sent a mobile van to inspect the vehicle at my residence location in JanakPuri, New Delhi on Sunday evening 7pm. The person accompanied with the mobile Service Van have adviced that parts as “Water Pump, Rings have broken and Fan Belt that came out needs to be replaced immediately. In order to do that work he wanted the car to be towed by a crane to the workshop on Tuesday-10/13 morning. As per plan they have towed the car and sent to their (HF-Motinagar) workshop on Tuesday morning at 9am.

But, this time again the issue was not being attended to resolve the mechanical fault existed in the vehicle. And the car was handed over to me after they kept it for 9 hours at the workshop just making some minor repair to the damaged parts. They have charged us approx Rs.4, 000.00 (Labor charge) for the same. Just to confirm you after I drove the car and found the same Fan belt sound as it was there before when I have given my car for service at the first time. So, this is quite evident that these guys did not make any effort to resolve the problem completely. And, I’m confident that the mechanical failure will reoccur again in near future would cause a greater problem for us.

Just for your knowledge, this is becoming a practice by the company service station to make sure that customer comes back and time & again get charged heavily for the same problem every time.

As the frustration level crossing it’s limit now, I would like to highlight, this is the second time we have came across such an incident with Harpreet Ford in last 6 months. The last time around a senior official of “Harpreet Ford” Gurgaon was involved in misbehavior and non transparency for insurance claim activity along with Insurance Agency Rep, with whom I have got my car insured.

This kind o[censored]nethical attitude and responses from the officials of an organization like “Harpreet Ford” (which has been attributed a high degree of quality of service and integrity over a period of time) is unacceptable and highly unappreciated. This would certainly cause a negative impact on “Ford India” initiative to maintain/retain it’s customer value chain. Given the fact should we now consider that with growing customer base in India, “Ford India” and it’s agencies like “Harpreet Ford” have lost touch of imperativeness for customer value and satisfaction.

Yes, I've had horrible experiences with Ford service over the past four years! No amount of complaining helps. Even as I am writing this message my car is languishing at a Ford service centre for over 4 days.
We have a family tradition of buying Ford and my grandparents had one of those soft top vintage models, but, I've sworn never to buy a Ford car ever again!

    i would say that ford fiesta is one of the most paethetic vehicle that i have purchased, every time i give it for service they would be asking to me replace parts that are not supposed to be changed at that time ,so far i have changed the following parts

    shock absorbers thrice
    a/c cooling coil
    engine fan motor
    fan belt
    injector coil

    all this happened within 40000 kms service , i m very sure that no car would be required to do so at this stage , moreover the sounds which the interiors produce is horrible ,every time i would inform them about this noises and rough door handles, the only thing they would do is charge me all those lubrication and sound arrest cost but in end it is of no ue and doesnt make any difference. the bill that i got after 40000 kms service was 13000 which is really very high for a car which has covered 40000. i would request all my friends to think twice before you go for a ford ,the car is not worth for what you pay and really very expensive to maintain it

      Defects in AC of Ford Ikon 4D 1.4TDCI

      This is inform u that I purchased Ford Ikon 4D 1.4TDCI from Saluja Ford C-43, Industrial area Phase III, S. A. S. Nagar Mohali on 13th April 2009. Car’s Registration no. is PB-74- 0052. It has run 19075 km upto[protected].

      To, Mr.Naigil wark,

      This may seem to be a different sort of complaint as being a employee of ford authorised dealership i am proud to say it has been a great honour to work for Ford as a brand,as our products are very good.But sadly, i will like to bring into your notice that all your dealerships are probably the worst in terms of employee treatment and satisfaction. A simple example is that you appreciate the efforts of the consultants by paying the incentives for the vehicle example for fiesta Rs.1500/- per car but the dealer are thieves and rob of the incentives by paying rs. 350 only. again the incentives for extended warranty and sceduled service plans being robbed off. the result is dissatissfied employees and thier lack of interest in work which becomes a treat to our brand image. hence the costomers becomes dissatisfied and finally loses out the trust in the brand. My request to you is that kindly issues the incentives and appreciations in the favour of the base employees like consultabts , service advisors and others staff so that the management doesnt siffen of the money. let us feel proud to represent a brand which really cares for other. the dealer principals need to be taken ride off.

      Dear Sir.

      This is in ref to my booking of FORD ENDEVOUR 4 x 4, 3.L, automatic, with Ludhiana

      Dealership ( Bhagat Ford ), They promised me for the test drive on 24th sept, where till today, i have no

      information for the same, upon asking for test drive today, they replied test drive is possible after 2

      weeks from today, same time when they promised me for the delivery of endevour which is nearly end of

      oct09.

      I would just like to know is it justified on your part to give the delivery and test drive time same, where as

      this is my first SUV and first time i am going to buy suv automatic.

      I would like to know the reason why dealership is not giving us the test drive, i am having a feeling that

      may be their is a problem in the car or the drive is not satisfactory, i feel that is the reason they are

      delaying the test drive and want to give me the delivery first.

      I would appreciate if some one senior from the corporate can contact me or reply by email for my doubts.

      I would like to add neither ur corp office chennai or regional office in delhi numbers are working, and

      hardly anyone is bothered to update the correct numbers on ur ford website, neither any emails are

      available of the top managements which must be unaware of these facts.

      Request Letter
      To,

      Respected Sir,
      1) I have booked Ford Fiesta 1.4 D CLXI Classic Model, Sea Gray Color having Engine No. BD20825, VIN NO. MAJBXXMRTBBD20825, KEY No. T-423213 for the total cost inclusive of Rs. 7, 18, 379/- and same paid to your RTGS account as per your direction and instructions on 21/04/2011 i.e. on Thursday.
      2) I have paid entire amount by taking Bank loan for amount of Rs. 4, 97, 000/- from SBI, Rukmini Nagar, Amravati for EMI of Rs. 11, 500/- Per Month for period of 5 years.
      3) For the purpose of deliver your sales dept. called on me 22/04/2011 for taking delivery and accordingly on 22/04/2011 on Good Friday, I along with my wife came to Nagpur, at Wadi at your Godown to take delivery. After completing normal proceedings and issuance of delivery Memo, at about 1.30 P.M. your sales person Mr. Nitin Mukewar deliver me the said vehicle. As your company handed over me bared vehicle, I visited your work Shop for purchasing Mating and Mud flap at Mankapur, which cost me Rs. 2100/- at about 3.30 P.M. Lateron at about 4 P.M. I left Nagpur and at about 7.30 P.M I reached Amravati by driving this vehicle in Very slow Speed for 155 KM. Meter Reading was at that time was 190 KM.
      4) On next day early in morning, some my friends and relative came to my place to see and have ride this vehicle, but as soon I took out this vehicle out of my compound, It started knocking heavily, so at at about 9.30 P.M I immediately contacted your sales person Mr. Nitin Mukewar who directed me to contact work shop with Mr. Bhaskar, then to Shushant Gaidhane. After contacting them, your work shop official on same day i.e. 23/04/2004 at 4.30 P.M send some illiterate mechanic name Ganesh, with small Laptop and IDS at my place. But that person being illiterate in manner to hander computer and IDS did not diagnose the actual fault, so on next day i.e. on 24/042011 at about 12 P.M. your work shop official Bhaskar/Gaidhane send some another person “Tanveer” with took kit to open upper part of Engine and Mahindra Make vehicle to toe my vehicle to Nagpur. if require. As both mechanic failed to diagnose and to solve the problem, on say of General Manager After Sales Mr. Atul Ganorkar, took the vehicle from my custody to Nagpur for further repairing.
      5) As today I was in full day in contact with Mr. Sushant Gaidhane/ Atul Ganorkar at about 7 P.M. in eveing, it was learnt that there was major problem in engine i.e. Valve Spring was broken due to some tension and there was problem in Head as well as it may in engine also and to repair the same work shop will require near about 8 – 10 days or more also and still if problem not solve, they will require more time also. Hence this seems that, there is major problem in Engine or entire vehicle and hence by paying a very huge cost for Brand New Vehicle, it is highly unacceptable to accept such faulty vehicle. Due to this faulty vehicle I did not use/enjoy the purchase of this new vehicle for 24 hour also. For the purchasing of this vehicle on 17/04/2011 I sold my Maruti Swift, “VXI” Abs” 2007 Scratch less model at very low cost, but as this Ford Fiest Classic Model not reached to you till 20/04/2011, you asked me to wait till 21/04/2011. As soon as vehicle reached to you, I immediately purchase this vehicle without any scheme / exchange bonus offer which was offered by every company for every purchase of such costly vehicle. I paid entire amount in one day advance.
      6) Hence by way this request letter, I ask you to replace me entire Brand new vehicle of same type instead of offering, me such vehicle with faulty and repaired Engine immediately within 3 days of receipt of this notice else return me my entire cost of Rs. 7, 18, 379/- within 3 Days of receipt of this notice with interest @ 18% per annum. In addition to this you are also responsible to compensate me for monetary loss, mental agony, stress, loss to good will, and for making me to vehicle less for number of days by taking vehicle from custody, for amount of Rs. 1, 00, 000/-
      7) Presently this Vehicle in not Billed, Not insured, Not registered and hence you can easily replace this vehicle with New One. Only delivery memo issued to me.
      8) Pl. Note that, I have not use this vehicle for 24 hours also.
      9) Pl. once again I request you, to replace me with New Vehicle instead of faulty vehicle else with compensatory cost within 3 days from the receipt of this request letter, failing which I will constrain to proceed further, against you and your company in the Court of law for the Loss sustain by me, for replacement or to recover the cost I have paid with interest @ 18 % P.a with compensatory cost & in that event you will be liable and responsible for all cost and consequences thereof.
      So please note and comply accordingly. Thanking You.

        I hve been continously having problems with Lathangi ford - Ford delership in bangalore ; after CAUVERY FORD was shut down..

        Every time i sent the car to lathangi ford ; the car comes back wtih further problems -

        Even if i send thecar for repairs on mileage /Speed/Pick up ; the car comes back in the same condition - just washed..

        I have purchased a ford Fiesta diesel from SC FORD in the month of June vide invoice no 117/2009/10 dated 29/6/09, later car was registered in daman Reg No DD03 E 2923 dated 16/7/09, this can was purchased for an employee who was to join our organization in july 09 but due to reasons his appointment was terminated due to which the car landed up lying at the dealer for the past .
        During this period i had requested Mr Vivek Modi of SC FORD to try and find me a customer to dispose the vehicle since i had no immediate requirment for the same, but since no sale could be confirmed i called up SC FORD on 10th Oct 2009 to deliver the car to me .
        later he calls back and informs me that i have already sold the vehicle at which i was shocked as to how he could do so without my confirmation .
        I have telling him that i need the car and he has been telling me thta he has already sold the car to some Mr Santosh of Patni Computers. the vehicle still lies at SC Ford bhiwandi godown .
        SC FORD is asking me to pay for the additional discount of Rs 50000.00 thta has been passed to the customer which i do not accept as there was no confirmation .
        I have told SC FORD thta if the car is not delivered to me i shall be forced to take action against thier dealership .

        Ford Motors india — delay in ford figo delivery

        Dear sir,

        I pankaj kalpatri have booked a ford figo white colour LXI on 1 st of February 2011
        i was promised to get on 17th of march on my daughters birth day,
        though my sbi bank is ready to pay the amount of 303000/- to Metro ford dealer hubli.
        The dealer executive is not responding properlly, he have made us agree to buy SEA GREY colour
        car but now he says the car is not available so u can withdraw the booking amount and go for any other
        manufacturer, Though am an TATA Motors Employe am getting an 5% cash discount and accessories
        on tata car, i thought of buying your car may be in future u may loose lots of customers like me,
        am totally dissatified by your customer care before your car delivery itself.
        sorry to say but am been forced to buy any tata car.

          SUBJECT:- FOR AVAILING ENGINE AS THE VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY.
          SIR,
          MY FORD CAR BEARING REGN. NO. DL-4C-AF-3189 IS UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD.ALLMY CAR SERVICES HAS BEEN TAKEN PLACEIN AUTHORISED SERVICE STATION. ON 24TH JULY 2009MY CAR DID NOT START AND AS SUCH THROUGH CRANE,I BROUGHT IT TO COMPANY CENTER NCR FORD FARIDABAD WHERE I CAME TO KNOW THAT ENGINE OF MY CAR SEIZED. THE COMPANY PERSONALS COLLECTED MY SERVICE HISTORY AND TO MY SHOCK THEY INFORMED ME THAT YOUR SERVICE HISTORY IS NOT COMPLETE DUE TO WHICH THE COMPANY CANNOT AVAIL NEW ENGINE UNDER WARRANTY. I HAVE NEVER TAKEN ANY RISK REGARDING SERVICE OF MY VEHICLE AND ALL MY CAR SERVICE HAS BEEN TAKEN PLACE IN AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER. MY CAR LAST SERVICE REPORT IS OK IN NCR FORD AT FARIDABAD. I AND MY WORKS SUFFRING A LOT DUE TO IT HENCE YOU ARE REQUESTED TO KINDLY AVAIL ME NEW ENGINE UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

            Dear mr Nigel E Wark ( executive director sales and service)

            I am the owner of a ford fiesta top model and after having been badly treated and harassed at the local dealer level I am forced to contact you with a hope that you can put me and my families ordeal to an end.

            My car details are 2007 model ford fiesta 1.6 sxi silver color , bought and serviced from bhagat ford Ludhiana , Punjab. Registration no Pb 10 cb 1400

            Stage 1
            I had sent my ford fiesta to bhagat ford for repairs for a nagging engine sound on 15/6/09 and they after a thorough check up confirmed a charge of approx rs 14000 and gave a list of parts that needed changing to rectify the problem . the car was delivered back after several days on 22/7/09 as the parts were not in stock with them and it took a long while to organize those. The final billed amount came to rs 18287.

            To our shock and horror the sound was still there despite having spent so much for the nagging sound .

            Stage 2
            We contacted the dealer again and reported the problem and they again agreed and said they are sorry and really need one more chance and re assured that this time around the sound will be set right and gave revised estimate of rs 4000 to be spent further for this . again on 8-8-09 the car was delivered back after improvements .

            Stage 3
            To our dismay the same nagging sound continued and this time I reported it to higher authorities of the dealer and they after a thorough check up informed after a few days that a rod at the base needs to be changed and this time the car will be fully set right and we will be fully satisfied with it. The revised estimate of a further rs 15000 was quoted to us and I was furious that how can they expect me to pay them the third time for the same problem and demanded the return of my car. To which they said since to find the fault the whole car is virtually dis assembled and now if they assemble it without changing the part they will charge me the labor cost of rs 4000 and its better that I spend a further 15000 and get it sorted out. Now I had no option but to suffer further and spend 15000 more.

            The car was handed over to the dealer on 20/8 with loads of promises from their side that our ordeal will be brought to an end and they agree that we have been harassed enough and our ordeal will be brought to an end within one week .

            Now after waiting for 3 weeks to get our car back finally after a lot of chasing after I got a call from them to say that the entire car has been set right and they are now checking the electrical parts and the horn needs to be changed. I said I donot want it to be changed and they can give the car back as is without the horn.

            Stage 4
            on 8 th September when I was to finally get the car back I got a call from the dealer saying not to come to take the delivery as that during the assembly of the car they have found that the power steering has collapsed and now a further 20000 needs to be spent to correct this.
            I am out of my nerves now and I donot know what to say and how to react. The dealer has no explanation as to how they damaged the power steering.

            Come on is this for real , did I buy a premium car to get this junk and in case this is normal I suggest that I can give the car to ford and they can use it as a research vehicle and return my money back and if my hard earned money cannot be returned then please someone show some respect for the customer and give me my car back in complete order.

            From hear say a lot of ford owners face the same at the hands of bhagat ford daily and I am just 1 amongst the many .

            Hi All,

            The FORD is stupid and carless company .only when they are selling they will begging after that they dont care attitude and quality of vehicle is poor, I had brought Ford Endeavour 2008 model but brake is worst one and service too poor.I[censored] complain to the ford ppl they want do anything .avoid buying FORD vehicle's.

            the cars they produce are so lousy that they remind me of the fiats and ambassadors of yore
            I have a ford fiesta and the cost of repairs is double that of my all other cars put together
            every month there is a new issue and worst fact is the company is least bothered no matter how much you complain
            I have a ford fusion plus, which I gave for service at Metro Ford. But for my surprise they broke a dash board part (Lid which covers the top glove box). When asked they say they are not responsible for that. When asked how much that lid cost, they say it costs around 5500 rupees and I need to pay to fix it. Damn, service is pathetic and spares are freaking expensive.

            I do not recommend ford to any one.. Hopeless service and expensive spare parts.
            I think these companies' attitude is nothing but a reflection of our government's attitude towards its people. We have 525 white elephants in parliament and thousands in legislative assemblies, we pay huge taxes every year, on top of taxes which as per govt is used to build roads, dams, electricity stations etc. we end up paying again for using nicely done roads as TOLL TAX it means that these taxes are paid for using lousy roads.

            Almost half of the country doesn't get purified supply of water they are dependent on ground water which is greatly not drinkable. More than 50% of country doesn't get more than 25% of electricity needed and top of that security of common citizens in metros is pathetically poor leave alone villages and chronic crime infested belts.

            I think this forum should help create a consumer movement i.e. moderators of the forum may look at similar/same complaints against one corporation or group and help the complainants organise so as to fights these giants in tandem.
            But the Ford cars are the synonymous for their flexibility, durability, comfort and the most important their luxurious features.

            You people at Ford are eager to sell as many cars as possible, but are your dealers equipped to service so many vehicles. My Ford Figo was given to Capital Ford, Bhubaneswar Orissa on 13th Dec 2010, for a small body dent repair, and second free service, and today is 17th Dec 2010, and the vehicle is yet to be delivered to me.

            ford Dealer & customer care is horrible no one is bothered for the customer. I have Ford Fiesta top most model the doors of the car is getting rusted and so called Customer Care Officer Ms Bindu Vinod Ford India Ltd is so arrogant lady that she is just not willing to accept the problem
            A typical response to a complaint on the ford website. Pity I did not save my complaint, only have the following 2 mails. Response from Ford is just about acknowledging the complaint, calling once or twice and then they supposedly speak to the dealer but the dealer feigns ignorance of that most of the time.

            There was no response on the concerns raised. Few more issues identified last week by another service workshop (Shaman)

            1> The coolant box had a crack (as per Bhavna the box had no cracks when he serviced last)
            2> The brakes are squeaking again (last service at bhavna was specifically for this only)

            I loved my Fiesta till 2010, don't think I do anymore.

            Our problem is still not addressed. In fact when I myself called Bhavna Ford I was told that car should be brought to Kalina using towing service which would incur cost.               Lack of commitment, professionalism, poor quality of service & fraud – is what I experienced with the dealer (South City Ford, Noida).

              I had given my car for service on Aug12, . When I went to pick my car, it was in pathetic condition. There was no cleaning, testing done. On requesting Vikas cleaning, I was told that cleaning is not part of service and was extremely rude (Vikas). He also told that the interiors have to be dry cleaned to which I asked how can plastic parts be dry cleaned the door handles has hand prints of the mechanics and grease which I told happened during the servicing and which needs cleaning. I then went and spoke to the manager (Anil) who told me cleaning is very much part of servicing and then when I approached Vikas he told me to come next day or on Monday and drop the car for an hour and he would get the necessary done and get the car dropped.



              On requesting for a test drive, I was told to deposit the money.



              I paid the bill and on starting the engine found that RPM was shooting up, I was all alone in the car none of the people from the dealer accompanied me for a test drive. On complaining, was told that there is a possibility that water would have entered some terminal, which they checked and was not the case. I was told to leave the car as it was 1930 in the evening. The service manger on the shop floor told that every thing was fine post the servicing was done and before the car was washed.



              Vikas who was the person I was aligned to, told me that my car would be checked first thing in the morning. I gave him 3 calls at different occasion to check the status, he said that we have tested and the PCM is not working properly. I asked him how is he sure about it. He told that we have put another PCM and checked. I then went to the dealer and spoke to Mr Anil, who said he would align another person to check this fault and then Manni came into picture, who replaced a couple of things and checked different things. At about 4 in the evening on the 13th, I was told that may be the module is faulty & as it is not available in the store of the workshop (as it rarely goes faulty. They would send someone i.e. a driver to get the car from Faridabad and the PCM of that car would be tested on my CAR. I called them at 6 in the evening and was told that the car is here. I went and they demonstrated me the working of the Car with the original PCM that was fitted and also with the replacement PCM which was procured from the car that was fetched from Faridabad. So the first question I have is, how did Vikas in the morning told me that they have already checked the car by replacing its PCM with another one and they are sure that the PCM is faulty. When I asked the manager that, why has some body to travel to Faridabad when they can check it with some other cars PCM which is currently being serviced. To which the manager (Mr Anil) told me that they don’t follow this practice. Therefore, how was car checked in the morning which Vikas confirmed?



              I am sure that either the PCM has been replaces or it has gone faulty at the dealers premise. As one of the issue with the car was that its parking lights and lights behind the speedo meter were not working when I handed over the car for servicing on 12th. I called Vikas and he told me at around 4 PM that the switch is faulty and needs replacement and this would cost me Ts 3200/-, I told I don’t was to get it replaced and then he confirmed that the car would be ready by 5.15 and I can then collect it. I called him again to ask him if there was any warranty for this to which he told, sir you don’t have to bother as we have repaired the switch and it should work fine for at least an year and would not require replacement.



              a) Either the people at the dealer bluff or they want easy fixes by replacing the units instead of repairing them and in turn make more money from repairs

              b) While repairing the switch some wires got short and the PCM was affected because of this.



              I strongly believe for any fault or error there has to be a cause. You and your team of engineers are competent enough to do a Root Cause and tell me, how can some thing go faulty suddenly and such a thing which is not stalked by the dealers as it does not go faulty.



              Besides, the condition of this dealer has worsened from the time they have shut down their dealership at Mathura road in Delhi. One of the engineers commented that they are capacitated to handle 35-40 cars a day and they are presently doing more than 50. I am sure this is one reason for the quality of work they are doing in the same time.





              How can the PCM suddenly stop functioning when it was fine? I have doubts that it has been replaced with a faulty PCM.



              I am surprised to see such incident happening with a mega American auto company and there are no complaint processes at the dealer no quality check mechanism etc.

              I would strongly recommend that a surprise check be done at the dealer and feedback taken from the customers post servicing is done by FORD itself.



              If this issue is not addressed appropriately, I would approach consumer forum for a solution.



              P.S: Mr Ford/ Mr Boneham, Incase I have marked the mail to you in error, request you to direct me to the right people.

              No 2 words but this experience has been bad.. on top of the problem stated by Gagan, he had to live with :

              - still non functional dash and rear lights
              - sub standard working AC only rectified when insisted on by him - that too the dealership rectified by filling the gas from another vehicle (a ford endevor) as they did not have it in their stock ! God save the endevour owner now
              I strongly agree this guys do this kind of things as i have Ford Ikon 1.6 P and its getting off, when i put on my a/c so i have given the vehicle to the dealer and he says there is problem in PCM, and need to replace it which cost around 35k. Do u have any idea what does PCM do???

                I am a CANARA BANK customer my account number is[protected]. I was try to withdraw the money Rs 4800/=at HDFC ATM on[protected]Saturday) around 06:30pm which is my nearest ATM NUMBER is---"S1ACNM01" at Namakkal branch. I am not received but money was detect from account, immediately I was contact HDFC customer service they told me to contact at CANARA BANK but unfortunately canara bank toll free number was not response which is written on the atm card. I couldn't contact any bank employees because of Saturday and next day is Sunday. Monday I was reported at canara bank-Namakkal they are told me it will take one month more to get back the money. Please do needful as soon as possible.

                  i had given my ford fiesta 1.4exi for service, and there were lot`s of dents on my car, i asked them for paint .the mechanical service was ok but they had cheated by doing poor service it was pathetic they had changed the original shape.. i asked that point then they were arguing with me .. and i also found new dent`s after service ... they took 19, 714 from me but it was totally dissatisfying to me the worth for that service may be 7000. totally irrational .. please do forward to ford india.. my vehicle no ap20p6660. i have given service on 23/7/2009. and i took my car on 3/8/2009.the service manager was mr .sridhar

                    fuel guage not working

                    sir two months ago my fuel guage of ford ikon 1.3 petrol not woking
                    i went to bhagat ford jalandhar dealer of ford india, they said you have to replace your fuel pump worth rupees 9000.
                    sir i got change my fuel pump from bhagat ford but my fuel guage is still not working since i got replaced my fuel pump
                    bhagat ford says its ' ford india ' problem because there fuel pump design is not appropriate or properbr...

                      Sir, I am serving in Indian Army wid my unit located in Dalhousie. I bought a Ford Ikon 1.4 TDCi of April 2009 Model from Bhagat Ford, Jallandhar. I took comprehensive Insurance from ICICI Lombard with cover note no. pl 8365348 for the period of 2009-10. I had a major accident on 28th of May in dalhousie cantt. area, wid me driving my new car. At the spot car images were taken by the police officials and a FIR no. :67 was launched in Dalhousie police station. I was admitted in Dalhousie MH from 28th of May to 10th of June. On 11th of june i registered the motor claim with claim no. MOTO1154446. I got a estimation of the accidented car done on 12th june in Dalhousie, which came out to be more than 5, 50, 000/-. I sent all the documents required, to ICICI lombard official in amritsar. In reply officials told me that the photos of the car were not clear and estimation done cannot be taken into consideration till the car is sent to Amritsar. I did the required and sent the car to Amritsar on 25th of june, which costed me Rs 5, 500/-. after being sent to Amritsar the car was surveyed the car and the estimated value of car was given as Rs 3, 50, 000/-. which is more than 75% of the total insurance amount of the car. The car has a lot of damage to an extent that it will require a new car shell. And surely the amount declared by the independent surveyor is not correct and will definitely be much more according to my opinion. Still, if considered, the amount given by the surveyor comes to be more than 75% of the total amount of the insurance of the car, in such a case a car is considered to be total loss, and the owner of the insurance policy is given the total insurance amount acording to your company's norms. Its been more than 1 month since the car was sent to amritsar and surveyed but After many discussuion there is no action being taken and no support from your company officials. I am totally at loss as to whom to approach. Pls take some serious action as soon as possible as am also payin the instalments for the loan of the car which does not even exists anymore.

                      HI,
                      I, LALIT SONI having CHEVROLET SPARK WITH REGISTRATION NO-DL6CJ8619, met an accident on 2/06/2011. I took my car to CHEVROLET workshop immediately and left car there for inspection and repairing purpose. There inspector MR. JUGAL KISHORE after inspection said driver side door damage claim can't be sanctioned because it got damaged when i opened door after damage.This is simply illogical and nonsense, why will someone try to open door when you have car at your door-side and there is no space for even air to pass. One more thing, even i am an engineer and i claim none in this world can say the type of sharp bending occurred to door can happen by opening the door. If such sharp bends occur i will pay double the claim amount.
                      I talked to MR. RAJIV(MANAGER AREA HEAD) and i was disappointed with the way he talked, i mean i felt like these guys have recruited all ill-mannered guys. He was not even interested in listening to what actually happened he just kept saying "YOU WON'T GET CLAIM FOR SAME". These guys doesn't know how to behave with customer.
                      I never expected this from ICICI. I expect you will help me reach to justice asap.

                        I purchased a Ford Endeavour last year, since my very first service I am complaining of Poor Ride Quality, Slow braking, excessive wear of Brakes and noise in differential. But Ford as it is famous for not taking note of anything. Perhaps they are aware of the manufacturing or desinging defects car has. In the recent years we have noticed that International car companies and in particular from the US and other western countries has developed habits of Dumping Indian market with their outdated and failed models that too at very high prices, and so the Ford doing. Through this forum I want to make Indian consumers aware of it.

                          I HAVE PURCHASED FORD IKON DIESEL CAR FROM SAI FORD ON 14/06/09 . I HAVE ALSO PAID REGISTRATION CHARGES AND INSURANCES CHARGES TO SAI FORD . SAI FORD HAVE SUBMITTED REGISTRATION FEES ON 23/06/09 . TILL DATE I HAVE GOT ANY REGISTRATION DETAILS OF THE VEHICLE . THEY ARE SAYING THERE IS SOME PROBLEM IN FORM 21 & 22 SUBMITTED TO RTO FOR REGISTRATION. THEY ARE ALSO NOT CLEAR WHEN THE REGISTRATION IS BEING DONE. DAILY I AM REMINDING SAI FORD TO DO THIS AND THEY ARE SAYING WITHIN 2 DAYS YOU WILL GET BUT FROM LAST 12 DAYS NOTHING HAPPENS . I AM LOOSING 5500/- AS CONVEYANCE ALLOWCE PER MONTH DUE TO NOT HAVING REGISTRATION NO.                             Dear Sir / Madam,

                            I have purchased Ford Fiesta car in Sept' 08 and within 20 months of purchase / 16000 Km run of vehicle both the front wheel bearings and brake ring worn out.

                            After taking up this matter with Ford India, they agreed to pay only 50% matrrial cost of barke ring but for bearing they told me that it comes under wear and tear.

                            Sir/Madam, how it is justifiable that within 16000 km run / within 20 months both the bearings worn out due to wear and tear.

                            I therefore request you to please look into the matter and suggest what to do ?

                              I bought a brand new fiesta on 30/06/09.On the 1st of July I was driving round a roundabout when the electric power steering failed with no warning, it went from light to very heavy and I was unsure whether I would be able to turn the wheel enough to get me out of trouble .I came within inches of having a serious accident.Is this a problem with fiesta as I feel it is likely to result in somebody being killed.I have always had Ford cars with no serious problems to report this experience has really shaken me up, so much so that I don't think I want the car back

                                We complained about some problem in the AC at the time of service, Bhagat Ford Jalandhar told us that compressor of AC is not working properly, which is to be changed under warranty, at present not in stock, will be ordered to chennai, and we will replace on reciept of delivery from Chennai.
                                After a follow up of about 10 days, Co. told us that they have got the compressor and called us to get the compressor replaced, but when we approched them for replacement, they are denying to replace it under warranty.
                                After more than 2.5 years of purchace of the Fiesta, having regular extended warranty and paying respectfully, if once we are in need of some replacement of some part, seeing the negative attitude of the Co, we are really worried about the future to pay more to the co. or to maintain a product of Ford.
                                Please do the needful.

                                check your extended warranty booklet it has everything on it in bw the fan and the inside piping is in warranty rest i have bo idea

                                  fordfiesta — starting problem

                                  my vechicle no.up32by8999 was going on his way and then eventually it stops and doesn't start then i went to narain ford service centre but they are giving no satisfactory response since friday

                                  as i have purchase a ford fiesta from narain ford, and from the very begining i m suffering from after sale services the spares are not available at the narain ford and the service engineers r not trained they r not able to diagnose the problem.
                                  there was some noise from the wheels the engineer said its because of tyres u have to replace all tyres we did it but then also there was sound then they said its from bearings then i asked then to replace bearings but then there was no bearings in the workshop they take near abt 7- 10 days to replace it.
                                  now yesterday i again send my car to work shop because of air conditioner is not working and car was heating the engineer said the fan is not working and it needs a change of fan. but again he said that its not available in store n it will take 8-10 days .
                                  so i request u have a look at narain ford lucknow because now many o[censored]r customers r unsatisfied like me. and it is damaging the company goodwil and then its effect ur sale.
                                  my car regestration no is UP32 CP 5878 stating at narain ford work shop lucknow
                                  plz reply back to what u can do to help me out because i m suffering lots of problems without the car.

                                    i decided to purchase ford ikon from Mandi (H.P).but as told by the dealer was that icould buy ford ikon in platinum colour which is avaliable with them, but my choice was for black.he even said that for purchasing this i have to wait for at least 3 months, which is also not sure that after 3 months i would get my desired ikon.i even called regional sales manager of that region, but the answer was same.
                                    does your company is in grip of of low market values these days, or ikon is in verge of closure
                                    i also want to know about the servicing provided by the company .if i buy from other dealer then can i get the servicing from this dealer...bcz as told to me by the dealor was that i had to buy from here only to avail the servicing facility
