[Resolved]  Gift360.in — Non-availability for goods paid for

I had purchased a combo gift voucher which contained a voucher for a Reebok Light Speed shoe. When I visited the showroom, they did not have stock of that. Since the voucher expiry date was close, I checked with them and the showroom officials said that they will arrange for the shoe and not to worry about the expiry date. Later I had called them twice at least and got the same answer.

Now when I call up Gift360, they say that there will no further stocks of this and they can only refund Rs.700. The value of the shoe as per the voucher is Rs.2599. They are asking why I have not contacted them earlier. When Reebok confirmed to me that the shoe will be made available, I took their word as agents of Gift360.in.

I guess this is how this company cheats the customers and unless this is stopped, then only God can save customers. I need at least the face value of the voucher to be refunded. I just hope that the consumer forum will be able to do something for me.

First of let me apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

Secondly, coming to your point, how can we refund the face value of the voucher when we have not charged you the face value. It is wrong on your part to ask us the same. As far as the stock of the shoes is concerned, we sold you a branded product from a well renounced company Reebok and hence the issue is with them. But, since you have transacted with us we can offer you a replacement at our cost but what you are asking is completely impossible. We could have refunded you the amount for the entire product and taken it back but since you have used the same we will not be able to do so. Also, if you compare the face value then we are offering you a pair of sunglasses worth Rs 4999 as an replacement to the product of face value Rs 2599.

i booked a digital Camera Nikon L110 on 5.1.2011 and received the same gift on 30.1.2011, but when i open the packet, there were no chargable batteries even i have paid for that..when i call the custmercare they were not raedy to listion this provlem.

i request please send me the chargable batteries as soon as posible please.
